13 Contract 1

Stunned rigidly, Sarah widened her eyes, slowly turning her head, but then Su Daiyu disappeared from her side. The long stone house she was in, vanished and turned to mist. There was no moon or should she say there was no light? The thunder which continuously striking stopped along with the strong wind.

As the rain fell heavier, her clothes and body drenched from the rain. The tick mist slowly dissipated due to the rain, gradually, revealing a certain animal sliding, circling through Sarah's body. She screamed horrifyingly, "A-Ah!!!"

Centipede! No, giant centipede!

The body was black, she should not be seeing the creature in this darkness, especially in the rain, but a slight green glowed on the body, visible to her eyes. There was something coming out from this monster, a black liquid? She didn't touch it so she couldn't verify. There was that incense smell again, but this time, coming out from this black insect. She was confused about how the smell could be still this strong when the rain still continuing pouring.

One to another, a small part from the giant centipede born new small centipedes, crawling to her body. Ew!! Sarah felt disgusted inwardly, she shrieked continuously and shook it off, "Go away! Go away!"

Su Daiyu, no, she meant the centipede laughed as the voice echoed through her ears, Sarah heard her saying, "I told you don't approach the old man, Sarah. I trust you enough to be my friend, but you ignore my advice and broke your promise. Hence, my cover is not a secret anymore."

Sarah's body was being lifted up by her and the centipede continued saying, "You are the first human, I didn't eat immediately. Do you know why? Because you look appetizing. I want to fatten you up, slowly rotting like Huang Yong. Sadly, I didn't expect you to discover this so soon."

Sarah's instinct to survive was so strong that she struggled so hard from this clutch. Her hands glowing red, the black sword didn't want to come out. It kept glowing and dim how many times she asked. The fu*k! What was with this sword when she needed it the most?! Why the sword didn't respond to her?

"It's useless, I know about your little power inside. Do you think I didn't notice about it? I know that old man dragon's power is much stronger than me, but sadly he will never win against my poison. You may notice it where did it all come, right, Sarah?"

She didn't particularly understand what power she was talking about, but poison? Did something enter her body? She suddenly reminded the food that Su Daiyu gave her and this incense smell. Did it affect her body turning this powerless?

"You guess it right. The food I gave you was an illusin truth, you didn't eat anything. Except, the meat I shared with you. Do you know what meat was it?" Su Daiyu's centipede face change to a human face, "It's my own old body part."

Sarah's brain process fast. Her stomach squeezing hurt, as if something hot boiling inside. No! No! No! That was impossible! She didn't want to think about the worst, she felt nausea sick, she wanted to crawl in some hole and hit her face to the wall for eating something disgusting stuff. There, as she faced the centipede, she threw up on the spot, but nothing came out.

Su Daiyu giggled, and said, "You're so cute, now let me eat you!" Tighten Sarah's body tighter than before, it led Sarah hard to breathe. Su Daiyu ripped Sarah's clothes, showing her naked chest wetting from the rain. Su Daiyu opened her mouth, showing sharp pointed teeth as she pounced towards Sarah. Through Su Daiyu's mouth one centipede coming out and jumped fast trying to pierce her chest instead.

Sarah's mind was shutting down, she couldn't move and the only thing she could do was waiting for her to die. At this moment she didn't have any strength to move, the poison inside slowly drifting her energy away. She began to think of her precious person, her parents, sister, friends, and Daniel. Gasping barely, she muttered, "He... Help..."

Just then when the centipede trying to attack her, it failed, as if some shield covering her body. To be precise an invisible barrier which glowing blue color, slowly, turned stronger to repel the nasty creature's sharp mouth. The small centipede near her burned because of the blue fire which suddenly showed up. Su Daiyu screamed painful as she let go of Sarah.

From above her body went fast to the ground, she didn't have any stamina as she let herself fell weakly. Half opened her eyelid to see the rain which gradually slowing down, in the blurry moment, she warm as if someone holding her.

She fell on someone arms, not to the mud ground, she could feel the touch she once experienced before, but this familiar hug she forgot where did she feel the sensation. The last thing before she shut her conciousness completely, she saw beautiful ocean eyes looking at her. 'Who are you?' She asked inwardly.

The wolf had been watching the 'place' where Sarah staying for quite sometimes. Why he did that?

Actually, it was started when he got tricked to come to the human world because of 'that geezer'. He swore if he met 'that geezer' he would make him pay tenfold times!

The underworld creature 'he' release was making his nerves annoyed, he also lost his soul stone! Because of that, his eyes turned blind, half of his power was gone in a result, he couldn't stay in human form in a longer time! He always turned back to the wolf form he hated. He also didn't like to clean up 'his' mess, and that mess got him hurt many times. Gah! Those annoying black creatures!

He indeed told himself he was the wolf king. But honestly, that was just a title he reluctantly got from his clan in the demon realm. Nobody could do better than him or even competed him, not his fault that he was too awesome.

But, now what? The whole clan belittled him because he couldn't see anymore and become weaker. His competitor who used to afraid of him became audacious to challenge him. And the most annoying one was that 'geezer' who tried to coup d'etat him.

Actually, the soul stone wasn't lost, 'the geezer' took his soul stone. 'He' threw it somewhere to his black creatures, fooled him and made him got stuck in the human world. Fu*k! He didn't want to start how he could be in the swarm of human, but he regretted that he wasn't cautious from 'his' trap. In return, he needed to search for his soul stone back in the human world.

The only thing he felt glad was the full moon in this world, it was the time he could come back to his human form, he knew he didn't have much time left before he turned back to a wolf, so he always used it wisely when using it.

From one year until one hundred years, he had been searching for a clue to find the 'soul stone' he was looking for, but it left no result. Not until he met one friend, he was a human. He told the wolf that he could go to the land called Ozar. He explained to him, in that land, there was much darker creature resided, and perhaps there would be his soul stone.

The wolf didn't have high hope, but he kept trying anyway. So he roamed from Gerald Kingdom until reached Flame Mountains, while fighting black creature in his difficulty condition. He didn't know why but what his friend told him was right. He could feel the soul stone aura radiating in this land, but he was pondering where was it.

A couple of days later, even when he was back to his usual human form, he couldn't find that thing! He cursed inwardly for his incompetent. He was so mad because if he stayed in the human world much longer, his clan would be in chaos. He counted the time in the human realm and the demon realm. If he stayed in here for about decades than in the human world already passed ten days. But that one day in the demon world was much longer than in the human world. In those days, anything could happen, whether it turned good or bad. Actually, he had plenty of time, yet he didn't want to waste any time to leisure search for it, he needed to be quick. His clan still need him, right?

One day, one of the creatures, he fought told him there was queen centipede reside in Alianor Forest. They said, she knew where the soul stone was taken away. Finally gotten a clue, he searched for days, hiding in the forest, searching for that nasty creature. He noticed, although the centipede knew his existence, she never showed up whenever he was around. Why though?

Until one day, she came out for the first time with a woman he met a few days before. Quite surprised showed on his face. The thought he got at that time when he saw the red hair woman again was his shirt was no longer there. He knew it was so random thought, but that was the only thing he could think of. He watched the woman walking side by side with the centipede. He was confused about why this woman couldn't see the giant centipede near her?

The illusion he watched from his eyes, making him disgusted more towards that black creature. That creature was using her and he knew that creature would eat her sooner or later!

But how could he tell that woman? You had been fraud! But, that black creature had this protection, the dead man called Huang Yong. He once heard from the former black creature he fought that this queen centipede liked to eat a human, depended on how they could resist her temptation warning. It looks like this woman in red hair was the longest human, who followed the monster's words.

'Don't approach Huang Yong or should she say her 'fake husband'?' That was the words the monster usually told to her victims. The longer the human followed the creature warning, the delicious the victim meat changed to. If that woman in red hair couldn't realize it was all imagination stuff, he couldn't break in to save that woman.

Thank goodness, not before long, she finally touched that Huang Yong. All of the barriers broke to pieces. Giving his chance to come in. Suddenly crossing into his mind, why he was so concerned towards this human?

He didn't distinctly hate human, he felt neutral towards them. The same like his human friend who was helping him for a clue, not to mention this one friend of his taught him more human knowledge he never once heard of. The wolf felt thankful instead of hate, but due to this perhaps his feeling to save human quite strong. That was the excuse he gave to himself. In truth, he didn't really know he felt right now.

By the way, it had been only two months he didn't see his friend, the wolf was wondering if his friend was still sipping tea right now?

Diverting his thought from unnecessary thought, he focused on the giant centipede who was still burning from his blue flame. He heard hear her screaming, "Why?!! YOU! YOU ARE THE ONE WHO KEPT WATCHING ME ALL THIS TIME!"

"Where's my soul stone?!" The wolf growled as his white nail turned longer and radiating blue. Su Daiyu laughed it off as her body kept burning, but it was quickly dissipated because she suddenly changed her shell! Regenerate to a new one, but this time much smaller size and her black and green body, fading into a shocking red color.

"You think I'm going to tell you?! Eat this you freaking intruder!" Her one thousand feet crawled to the ground heading to the wolf. The wolf who saw that jumped to the nearest tree as he carried Sarah on his arms.
