1 Prologue

She glanced at the appearance of the sky which changed from light gray to thick black, rumbling sounded reached her ear, and she knew it was the signed for big storm arriving soon. She looked at her red dress which already torn off when she got pursued a moment ago, her auburn hair was blown away to the back as it fluttered along the wind.

She could feel cold tingling through her body, it wasn't due to cold wind, but it was her heart. She felt dead-cold inwardly, she didn't know that her end day would come early than she could expect it, yet this was truly disgraced for her dignity.

But in this condition, who would care about her?

Lifting her head in front, her eyes turned red, she showed him her determination and the hatred feeling she got from the man she used to call 'husband'. But now, that man was her worst living nightmare. She took a step back as that man's soldiers pointed their swords towards her, surrounding her until she was cornered. She turned back and it was the abyss.

"Soldiers! Seize her!"

"Yes, your majesty!" All the soldiers affirmed in unison. They instinctively followed the King ordered as they were only his underlings. With their steel armors and long swords, they were prepared to capture her.

Feeling helpless the woman growled furiously at them. Calling them demons and asking them to kill her instead, but it was slightly pointless, most of them didn't flinch back, while some of them shivered from her words. Those particular people felt her words was so sharp that it almost bleed their heart. They still didn't want to believe the queen they worship so much was, in fact, a witch. They felt betrayed by their most idolized person. She was supposed to be the queen of the country, the exemplary for them, but when they heard she was falling to the dark side, their superficial world was crumbling one to another.

Looking hopeless, Tereza laughed inwardly, 'Ah, it's over. No one believes me anymore' She thought. She looked back and suddenly she felt something reached her ears and tingling body. It was slight water sounds and humid air. Was it possible?

Turning her head in front she looked at her husband who was sitting on a black horse as another horse came abruptly behind him. There was a beautiful woman with a green dress and fancy jewels on her body, sat on the horse mound. Tereza watched her brushed her long brown hair.

Sadly, Tereza didn't catch her face clearly, because she was quite far from those two, yet she had a guess who was that wench. Rosalina Rosery from Rosery House.

Although Tereza wasn't sure, she could notice from that woman body figure, and usually, her hunch was right. Tereza had a feeling she was the one who set her up into this situation, but Tereza didn't know how and why she did that.

Tereza saw her slowly walking her horse to stand beside her husband, Rosalina leaned closer to him and whispered something which Tereza clueless about. King Zay Monterg still used his serious face as he stared fixedly to Tereza movement. He didn't take a glance at Rosalina, he just moved his body tilted to her side.

From Tereza view, she could see those two were quite close and intimate.

Scoffing, she should know 'that woman' was a parasite. Tereza had been told by her servants that Rosalina was not a good woman just like she portraited on the outside, yet Tereza didn't believe her servants. Tereza once thought Rosalina was a good friend and someone she could freely chat to. Thus, Tereza often invited Rosalina a lot into the castle.

That woman always encouraging her to be more attentively as a queen and a wife. Tereza learned a lot from her, yet Tereza couldn't do the things she mentioned. Tereza from the start wasn't a graceful queen or lady, she was former merchant and a peasant. It was a miracle that she could become a queen and met King Zay Monterg. She didn't even remember why she was chosen and when did she become his queen. At that time, It was too unrealistic and she couldn't catch briefly what was happening.

Actually, Tereza felt something was not quite right with Rosalina, but Tereza ignored it. Tereza occasionaly caught her watching closely to her husband and once , Rosalina shouted at Tereza, due to her complaining about him. Tereza was wondering why she overreact like that? Tereza was supposed to be his wife not her!

Tereza knew that her admiration was more than that, Tereza tried to ignore it, until one day, Tereza witnessed her coming out from her husband bedroom. They saw the two of them hugging from afar.

Once again, Tereza tried to act oblivious, as she lived for her positive thinking motto, Tereza bluffed herself that Rosalina was an only consulting problem with her husband. Rosalina just felt depressed, she just wanted someone to relieve her stress. Yes, that was it. Sadly, the reality wasn't as sweet as it seems. Why that woman needed to go so far and met her husband for all the people in this kingdom for heaven sake?!!

Chuckling, she was stupid indeed. She should have known, she didn't know that Rosalina purposed all along was to seduce her husband and took all of her position, wealth, and pride! 'Demon wench!' Tereza cursed inside, she swore she would curse them all in her death.

Taking a deep breath, she gave up, she didn't care about what happened to her anymore. No one could protect her, the man she trusted the most turn his back on her, her servants were locked up, her followers were all slain by him. Closing her eyes, she could still recall about her people were in a blood bath, covering the entire city. Why was this happening? She didn't do anything wrong. Who was the first person started the rumor? Was it King Zay Monterg? Or Rosalina Rosary?

Taking a glimpse of how Rosalina Rosery curving her lips up, Tereza felt irony, 'Bit*h, it's you, right?' Depressed why did Tereza make that woman her friend? Why did she bring her to the castle?

Why on earth did she choose that man? Was it due to his beautiful words which made her maiden heart beating like a maniac? Was it due to his sincere vowed that he would only love one woman in his heart and that was Tereza? Was it due to his promise that he would not make a harem in his castle?

She didn't know. But at that time, she could feel that his words were the truth. He didn't lie. His eyes were shining clear, yet now, she could imagine how his eyes turned darker. She just felt dumb right now.

Waving her hands, she folded her arms in front of her body. Cold breeze reached her calp, closing her eyes for a few seconds she felt all of her surrounding turn gray. No sounds, just swearing, this sh*t world should just perish. She didn't care about it anymore, the only thing she wished right now was to escape. Whether she survived falling from this high or she would go straight to death, she was gambling.

And, If the death option happened, she would be glad about it. If she went to hell, wasn't that a happy thing for her? At least there she could see the three head dog Ceberucy, just like her childhood dream wishing to see it once in her life. Of course, she knew it was impossible at that time.

But now...

Opening her eyes quickly, her eyes turned red, she gritted her teeth, trying to halt her tears falling, she shouted sarcastically at him, "Zay Monterg! Let's meet in hell again! I wish you all a disturbing ending!"

Tereza took another step back. The small pebble she unintentionally kicked, was falling down and nowhere could be seen in the bottom of a deep and dark place. With her last beaming smile, she let herself jump into a black abyss as she used her last lips gesture, to say farewell.

Catching his sense back, he was startled and looked at her with disbelief. Trembling, he muttered, 'No.' rapidly. He rushed his horse, fell from it, rolling as he got up back and dashed to her side. The soldiers made their way as they could hear King Zay Monterg screamed with his eyes shaken, "No, don't!!!" His two legs moving forward to where she stood on a second ago, he stared down the dark, bottomless cliff.

A hollow feeling suddenly surfaced in his heart. His mind in turmoil, the only thing left was regretted, 'What did I just done?' He regained his consciousness, staring at the bottomless, clenched his fist tightly while muttering, "I'm sorry, honey."

Hearing a slight horse hoof, someone hoped down from the mound and walked to his side. Rosalina placed her left hand to Zay Monterg's shoulder and made him stood unconsciously. His bright eyes turned back to lifeless. He tilted his head down and looked at her seductive face.

She smirked from his reaction and turned around to the soldiers who were confused by her action. They were confused since when this woman came to this place? Did she follow them? They heard her saying, "The evil witch is dead! We must celebrate! Nevertheless, a new queen has arisen! It is I, Rosalina Rosery, as your new queen! Note down my words that I will make this kingdom and your king the greatest in this land!"

As if bewitched by her statements, they fell kneeling to the ground, bowed down their heads, they were all shouted, "Long live the queen! Long live the king!" There was no light in their eyes, rigid expression was shown as if they became a puppet. It was the same thing with King Zay Monterg.

Rosalina felt satisfied and her amusing eyes were gleaming pink light. She turned her head to her right side and saw King Zay Monterg who was standing unmoved. She said to him, "I'm your queen now. Don't forget about that. From now on, there will be no more Tereza van Fleur in your heart. Alright?"

King Zay Monterg was showing hesitant, but it was futile. He couldn't break something strong holding him, it was like this before too. He didn't know why a few seconds ago he could release from that spell. Was it due to his strong emotion? It was vague.

Unfortunately, this time, there was no second chance, before he could try to resist one more time, his vision turned to fuzzy and the only thing he could do was to hear Rosalina's words. He felt his body wasn't his own. Rosalina whispered a few words into his ears.

Automatically reacted, King Zay Monterg shouted, "Soldiers! Hear my command! Although we know the witch is dead, we can't be sure if she died or not! For cautious, place Tereza poster in the city wall! Make her a wanted person, so it can be known through the kingdom. Let the people know that she's our enemy! If she is indeed alive, don't kill her! Capture her immediately! Later the rewards will be given personally from me!"

"Yes, your majesty!!!"

Understanding their King's command, they began to proceed with the mission. King Zay Monterg walked to his black horse, followed by Rosalina. He planned to go back to his castle now. From behind, Rosalina couldn't stop smirking and watching his back who showed his mightiness.

He hopped on the horse and spread his right arm to Rosalina, she accepted it and sat in front of him. His left hand circled on her waist while her head leaned on his chest. She could feel his rapid heartbeat. 'Fool, do you think I'm going to let you go easily?' She mocked inwardly, she loved to tease this handsome man.

The next day, Tereza's face was being posted and spread in each corner of the Gerald Kingdom. In one of the town square, two certain men wearing gray and white cloak staring at Tereza's wanted a poster. The man in gray cloak ripped one of the picture posters and his hands began shaking. While the man in white felt bitter inside as he muttered with quivering tone, "My queen..."
