45 Chapter 43 - The End 3
The entire scenery changed. It was the same scene that I used against Lancer, Gilgamesh, and Kotomine to win.
"This was pricey..." I said, noticing my status board.
[Self Afflict - 4%]
I couldn't imagine myself beating Father and taking God from him. That's why, I decided to erase his soul and to absorb God into myself. I was technically doing what Truth asked me, after all.
"Where am I?" asked Father.
"It doesn't matter... You'll still end up dead..." I responded coldly.
Everyone started waking up. Edward amidst his pain saw around the environment.
"Uncle... What have you done?" he asked. "This wasn't in the books you wrote about!"
"Sorry about that Edward... Call this... An interference in space I suppose..." I said.
Gathering my limited mana supply, I started running the Reality Marble's mechanism, killing Father slowly.
"NO! I finally reached Godhood! STOP IT!" Father yelled.
He ran and punched at me, however, my barrier wasn't up because I lacked the mana for it.
I fell to the ground and Father started pulling my soul out of my body.
"You can't do it, Homunculus. My soul is a bit special I told you," I grinned while being repeatedly on the face.
"STOP THIS! I just wanted to become perfect! Why are you ruining my dream! Why can't you relate! You also have this immense power so you must have been like this before!" he said insanely.
I started thinking about my times in SAO. The time I was pursuing power to escape, pursuing justice by killing evil, and when I started pursuing regrets.
"I can 100% relate to you, but one day you'll realize... the power I or you have isn't anything compared to the this multiverse," I said and Father stopped moving.
"... Did you say... Multiverse?" asked Father shocked.
Everyone around got up, wanting to know more. Even Hohenheim got shocked.
"I guess it's time to share my backstory... Even though I was born here, I'm originally from another universe. I became immensely powerful with just my body, but I realized the potential of souls. This is the third world I've been it, and I seek the power to reconstruct souls," I said, laughing hysterically.
"You think you're so great and powerful, but if we we're to go back to the second universe I've been in, you will hold no chance against anyone," I said while laughing.
My face became deadly serious, "You're weak, Homunculus. And weak people don't deserve to live, so perish like the scum you are."
Father, however, didn't despair like I thought he will.
"Are you feeling empty? Don't worry, I felt that before too," I smirked like my usual self.
"... So everything I did, was useless?" he asked.
"Not entirely. If you were to win, you will earn the power of God and rule this universe as God, but in other universes, it's useless unless they are similar or connected to yours," I told him.
"Wait... so can Uncle Kyofu be considered human?" asked Alphonse.
"Human? I was always human since the beginning. Also, who are you calling Kyofu?" I wondered.
"Don't joke around Kyofu... Wasn't your code name Kyofu since the beginning?" questioned Hohenheim.
'Kyofu...' I thought. I was going through my memories, but there wasn't a singe trace of Kyofu there.
"Nope, never heard of it. Also, who are you guys?" I asked.
"No way..." said Edward. "UNCLE! What did you lose when you met Truth!"
"Truth said he's stealing my... memories..." I said slowly.
Greed could feel my pain. He also felt the pain of forgetting everything and re-remembering it over again.
"It's not fair! Why is it something completely different from us!" yelled Edward.
"Don't get mad young man. After this, I'll disappear from this world forever," I tried calming him down.
"So... have you made up your mind? Can you just die?" I asked Father.
"I made up my mind... I wanted to explore this universe... become sagacious and know everything... but knowing this made me realize... I'm weak," said Father.
I smiled, "I'm glad that you understood. Now, please die."
I materialized Shigemura and cut diagonally through his body. Black shadows started appearing from his body, pushing and compressing him into nothing.
"I guess my job is done here, right Truth?" I said.
Clapping my hands, I touch the area where Father used to be, making my own alchemic gate appear. But before I left, I took one last look at everyone here.
"I'm quite sorry that I don't know you guys, but we might cross path once more again in the future. I'll see you guys later," I smiled and hopped in the gate.
"UNCLE!" "KYOFU!" "ISHVALAN!"
*****
Exiting my gate, I appeared in front of Truth again.
"So? I've finished my mission," I said.
"Quite memorable... You have done quite a good job," said Truth.
"Well... Give me back those memories," I demanded.
"Wow. Quite the impatient fellow you are," said Truth.
He pointed his finger to my forehead.
"There," said Truth, who then disappeared.
Everything started disappearing. My gate, the room, everything. It was crumbling into nothing and was being rebuilt into a orphanage. In the orphanage, there was a small boy, a director, and a couple.
"We will like to give back the boy..." said the couple.
The director kept silent and took the papers from the couple. The boy, however, didn't show any expression against this.
A while later, the couple left the orphanage and only the director and boy were left.
She sighed, "This happened again... What happened?"
"I-I... don't trust them!" said the young boy.
"Jesus... Why can't you trust them again?" she asked.
"I can feel it! Their emotions... their dreams... their memories!" replied the young boy.
"This again! It's more believable if you say that you came from the future than this you know?" grumbled the director.
I then watched at how the boy interacted to things. He avoided being near anyone except the director and some certain people, until one day, he was adopted once more by a mother.
"Mommy... Please stop dreaming!" asked the boy.
The boy was being haunted by the images of a baby dying. Every night, when he saw his mother come back from home, he stared at her dead but also loving emotions. However, whenever his mother was drunk, he could sense something else, despair.
"Mommy... Can you stop drinking?" asked the boy.
"Sorry, but I need it honey..." answered back the mom.
When he was sent to sleep, he was dreaming of something wrong. He could see his mother, but with a huge belly crying in a hospital. There was a doctor talking about something while the father was missing.
One day... one unfortunate day, a day of tragedy and change happened. It was during the summer, that his mom received a letter. After reading the letter, she went to the shop while the young me took the letter and read it in secret.
[I heard our baby is dead and you adopted a kid to replace him... my child]
The letter came from his mother's ex-husband. The letter was filled with threats and curses that he thought a human like this shouldn't exist. Something was definitely wrong. Thinking and hoping it was nothing, he went to sleep, a thing he would regret.
He opened up his eyes to see a new letter next to him. All that was written in it was "Sorry" and "Good bye."
All he remembered of that day was a dead hanging body. Not accepting this fate, he subconsciously changed mentally.
"I never had parents... I lived alone for most of my life... I'm doing fine..." said the boy crying.
Seeing the tears falling off this boy's cheeks, Zhong Yuan decided to interact for the first time with him.
"You okay, kid?" I asked with a gentle smile.
However, he looked back at me emotionless and asked, "Who are you? A child predator?"
I was shocked but I gathered my composure.
"Nope. I'm your guardian angel, and you're my guardian too," I said meekly.
"I'm saying this beforehand, I have no money so don't bother trying to steal from me," he said.
"SHUT UP! I'm not trying to do anything bad!" I yelled.
"So... what are you trying to do?" he asked.
"I'm not going to do anything at all. After all, I'm non-existent you noticed?" I said.
"Non-existent?" he furrowed his eyebrow.
"Yep! I'm like a ghost. Everything I touch goes through except your body," I said.
"... You've met me before?" he asked.
"Yeah. I lived with you for almost two years you know?" I said and I sat next to him.
Grabbing and hugging him with one arm, I just said, "Stay strong."
"I'll try..." he said but be broke down before me once again.
I helped him wipe his tears off.
"Though it's bad, I might be able to help you," I revealed to him.
"... What can you do?" he asked.
"Erase memories. I'll just seal some of your memories off your soul," I said. "However, this might cause some side-effects on you."
He was determined, "Please! Remove my memories!"
I could only smile, "I'll save you from your pain until you solve it."
Tapping my finger inside his soul, I could see the various memories he had. I took Shigemura out and slashed it off.
"It's done..." I said, seeing something I shouldn't have seen.
Inside his soul, I could see a network of memories, just like mine.
'You have my power... me,' I felt sad.
'You'll experience something you won't like, but at least, try to not become like me,' I said in my head.
Then, inside his soul, a hand popped out.
"What the..." I said.
My young self froze and the hand grabbed me, binding me.
"What the fuck... I've never saw this before..." I said in pressure.
I was thinking that the hand will crush my soul into pieces, but instead, it just chucked me really hard. It felt like I was traveling at the speed of light or something, but all I could feel was me going to somewhere different. Breaking through these worlds, I finally landed back to the Fullmetal Alchemist World.
I looked around to see the old white room with gates and Truth laying down.
"Tell me! What was that!" I shouted at him.
However, he didn't answer my question. All he said was, "I give up my world, you can have it. You can also get back your memories."
Suddenly my head started bursting once more. I could remember who Kyofu was and what I've done to defeat Father.

"My truth... memories make me up... my most precious possessions," I said.
"Precisely. It's not time yet and you'll travel more until you meet your actual truth, but until then, I'll offer you everything this world has! Take it! Alchemy!" said Truth.
Truth clasped his hands, and the entire room started shaking. My gate opened up and he started entering it.
"What are you doing?" I asked worried.
"I'm cutting everything off this worlds has and offering it to you," he said.
"You've done it. You beat truth with my own truth. Take everything I have and move on!" Truth said.
The room started dimming and it became all black, with only me and the gate left. I could sense something going on in my soul.

The way I can bypass other worldly rules, completely finishing the world.
'Guess it's time to go... but first,' I thought.
I teleported my body to where the battle finished. At Central headquarters where the battle went on, everyone was walking to get treated. I found the camp in where the Elrics were staying and entered.
"Yo!" I said.
"Uncle!" "Kyofu!" they all said surprised.
"Luckily, I got my memories back. Guess I'm back for real now, huh?" I thought out loud.
"Uncle! Help us! The reason why we went to Central was to get our bodies back! Can you help us please?" asked Edward and Alphonse.
"Sure. You both give me a strand of your hair," I said.
Giving me some DNA material, I magically made Alphonse's complete body and Edward's limbs.
"Here you go!" I said.
"UNCLE! WHY DID YOU USE THE PHILOSOPHER STONE!" yelled Edward.
"Philosopher stone? I didn't use it though," I replied.
"Wait... You didn't? Then how did you make something out of thing air?" asked Alphonse.
"I made a contract with Truth. Unlike you guys, I went all the way through the gate so I understood some things people would go insane for," I answered.
"However, there's a drawback," I said.
On my skin, there were shadow hands popping and going around me.
"Why are you sacrificing yourself!?" shouted Edward.
"I'm not. My body lasted here for more than 60 years you know? It's time for me to move on to another universe," I smiled gently.
The brothers started crying up as they regained their bodies. Inserting Alphonse's soul into his old body I got from the gate and putting Edward's limbs back in, they went out to showcase their new body parts.
"Hohenheim... did you finally talk about Trisha to them?" I asked.
"Yeah... I'm thankful they accepted it, but I'm also growing old," said Hohenheim.
"Don't worry about that. I made gravestones for ourselves you know? Yours is right next to Trisha's," I said cheerfully.
Hohenheim looked at me blankly and laughed slightly, "I guess you'll never change, huh?"
"When did I ever change?" I retorted.
"Many times... guess it's time for us old fellows to go," said Hohenheim cheerfully.
"That's the spirit! I'll teleport us both," I said
We instantly teleported to Resembool's cemetery in front of Trisha's grave. Hohenheim got on his knees and started talking.
"I'm home, Trisha..." said Hohenheim.
"Hohenheim was finally called Dad by Edward, you know?" I entered in joking.
"Though there was a "good-for-nothing" in front of it..." said Hohenheim tired.
"It's tough being immortal after all these times..." I said meekly.
"But by meeting you and our sons, I was able to truly appreciate that I was alive, from the bottom of my heart," said Hohenheim.
I stood up and stared at Hohenheim while smiling, "Wasn't life very fulfilling?"
Hohenheim stared still at her gravestone.
"Yeah... it was very fulfilling, and more than I could wish for," he responded.
"Thank you for everything Trisha and Kyofu. Because of you guys, I wanted to live even more," finished Hohenheim.
"It's natural Hohenheim. After all, we're humans. A bunch of good-for-nothings, right?" I ended.
"...Yeah..."
Making my and Hohenheim's gravestone, Hohenheim died peacefully and my body started becoming shadows.
"Good bye this world."
