44 Chapter 42 - The End 2

"He was trying to make philosopher stones again," said Hohenheim, surprising everyone on the platform.

"Human's should just stay as stones," replied Father.

Hohenheim got pissed. He started talking about how the cycle of life works, and that homunculus are an obstacle to it.

"Is that so? Then I shall give birth to humans," said Father.

Putting his arms up, tumors started appearing on his belly, taking form of human bodies. In those bodies, Xerxians and victims of Father's atrocities came out. They dropped out of Father, becoming walking bodies.

May Chang ran from these horrible creatures while Hohenheim, Alphonse, Izumi, Edward, Mustang, and Hawkeye froze.

"The people we killed during the war..." muttered Mustang.

Hohenheim say the King of Xerxes while Izumi saw a baby, creeping them both. The creatures from Father froze everyone in place.

"Why did you guys freeze? All they are are former souls in empty shells," said Zhong Yuan.

Clasping my hands, I condensed most of the humidity in the air into a ball.

"Okay guys, if you guys read my research, tell me... What happens if this becomes heated up?" I asked Edward.

"It... becomes steam?" responded Edward.

"Bingo! Now what if I were to pressure it?" I again asked.

"...I don't know," responded Alphonse.

"Let's check it out," I said.

First, using geothermal energy from tectonic plates, I boiled all the water I had into steam. Steam of course had a ton of kinetic energy, making it dangerous if pressurized. It could cut through metal and boil or burn somethings.

Then, I again clasped my hands to pressure the steam. 30 psi, or pounds per square inch, is possible enough to cause amputation. I pressurized the steam to around 1000 psi.

"Eat this!" I shouted.

Letting it out, the steam quickly condenses into liquid while in the air, cutting through air like butter. All the fake humans were cut to pieces, but Father quickly put up his shield.

"You humans should have stayed still... I could have given you a quick unnoticed death," said Father as he gathered up energy to blast us away.

"Sorry to say, but I'm no longer a human because of you. I'm Sloth! Acedia! And I want to end this quick!" I said smirking.

"Don't worry about it then Kyofu. I'll end this quick for you," he said, motioning his hand up.

"Everyone! Get behind me!" I shouted.

Everyone started running behind me and the beam of destruction erupted from Father's hand.

"Bastard... You got me in a pinch here!" I smile nervously.

- Below, after Scar activated the Reverse Nationwide Transmutation Circle -

"What's going up there?" asked Darius.

"I have no clue..." responded everyone else.

"We have to go up... Is there an alchemist here?" asked Scar.

In the same room, Alex and Olivier Armstrong both appeared with soldiers accompanying them. At the same time, Greed and Lan Fan came up.

"Do you guys know what's going on right now?" asked Olivier, demanding answers.

Greed responded, "Father, the leader of the homunculus, absorbed God inside of his body and is on a rampage! Anyone who can't fight should go stay down here! Scar, frog, and ordinary people! Stay here!"

Olivier got mad. "Hey! What qualifications do you have to be able to command my men!?" she yelled.

"It doesn't matter! That homunculus can destroy and rule the world with that power!" he said back.

Suddenly, rocks started crumbling down.

"Tch, he did something again..." said Greed.

"What do you mean!?" demanded Olivier.

"Our Father with the power of God can makes things like the sun. When we go up, instructions aren't going to even help," said Greed.

"How do you know?" asked Alex.

"I've combated him before and nothing worked. All we can do is chip away his energy sources," said Greed. "Just give me your men that I can command over."

"I'm not going to give over my men that easily, however, the only chance we have to defeat is teamwork, and that's what we're going to do," said Olivier.

"Sure. Just give us a ride up and leave the injured here," he finally relented.

Sig, Jerso, and Scar stayed down with some soldiers tending their wounds.

"General! We got a call from headquarters..." said a soldier.

Taking up the phone, she said, "Mission headquarters, it's me. What's the status over there?"

"... General... half of Central Headquarters... has been annihilated."

The soldier then talked about how they couldn't get in contact with other groups, and that they were relocating in the middle of the battle field to surround Father.

"Understood. We'll be going up to help," said Olivier.

"Thank you General," responded the soldier, ending the call.

"Alex! Bring us up!" shouted Olivier.

"Let's rock 'n' roll!" shouted Alex, punching the floor underneath, forming a pillar that rose up.

Everyone slowly woke up. They looked at the damage caused by Father's ray and saw Zhong Yuan crumbling. No one took damage, but I took the brunt of everything.

"Uncle Kyofu! Are you okay?" shouted Edward.

"Hang on there old friend!" said Hohenheim.

I coughed up some blood, but I answered, "I'm still fine... however, I won't be able to block another attack of that degree."

Being bounded by this world's physic, I was in a dilemma.

'If I had the power of the Root in the Nasuverse!' I thought.

Clapping my hands, I place them on my body, recovering some wounds.

"Regeneration?" asked Father who was behind me.

"No... just moving some cells..." I said smiling weakly.

"Well... it's good bye my friend," said Father.

"NO!" yelled Hohenheim, running to punch Father only to be sent knocked away.

Red electricity sparked from Father's fingers. I started feeling dizzy and pain.

"This hurts... bastard..." I said.

"Don't worry about it. I'll also bring your friends with you," he said, also trying to get Izumi and Edward's soul.

"Stop it! STOP IT!" said Hohenheim.

However, he got interrupted by a bullet going through his head.

"Our target is a man with long, blonde hair! Don't confuse him with the Fullmetal Alchemist!" yelled a commander.

"Roger!" answered back the soldiers.

They surrounded the central headquarters and started launching rockets at Father. While Father was downed, Edward picked up Izumi and me.

*BOOM*, the rockets hit the energy shield.

The explosion almost tripping Edward, he gets his balance back and runs away with us. In the dust, he could see the Briggs soldiers picking his Father up.

"Yo, Fullmetal! You alive?" they grinned.

"Attacks like these won't even scratch him!" Edward said.

"You're kidding, right?" they responded.

After a command in the mission headquarters, every soldier started shooting bullets, rockets, or everything they got. Still, nothing happened to Father. After a while of shooting, all the soldiers retreated and Mustang shot a fire drake to Father, creating a huge explosion.

"This didn't work, huh... Thank god I learned something from those books..." said Mustang, taking out another glove.

Snapping his finger at Father, a small blue snake was formed slithering to Father which exploded a certain radii around him.

Everyone started screaming about how hot it was until suddenly, everything became cooler.

"God dang it... I'm not strong enough to these constantly colonel..." I said weakly.

Removing the propane that fuels most of the power of his attack, my body starts trembling.

'I haven't been under this much stress since SAO,' I thought reminiscing of the old times.

Mustang then shot another blue snake at Father who only collected it and threw it back. Thankfully, Alex and Mustang fought against it by making walls and by fighting fire with fire literally.

After the huge explosions, Alex sent some huge metal arrowheads to Father, commanding everyone to start attacking again. Father blocked with his energy shield and everyone restarted their attacks.

"Mere humans can hardly lay a finger on me," said Father condescending.

"If humans can't, what about a homunculus?" said Greed popping out of the dust made from the explosions.

This time, Greed went full out. He was fully carbonized and started slashing Father with his claws.

"It won't work Greed, but you saved me from the trouble of getting your philosopher stone. You're such a good son Greed," said Father with Greed's hand stuck inside him.

"I'll be taking yours," said Father, absorbing the souls back inside his body.

"AHhhH!" shouted Greed, "Just kidding. You can't take my philosopher stone without putting your barrier down, right? Did you not consider the possibility that you'd have the power of God taken from you instead?"

The power of God started being absorbed into Greed.

"I'll take all of it!" announced Greed, until he noticed the power he stole was getting absorbed back, again screaming in pain.

"Greed!" yelled Edward, punching at Father.

Father started constructing walls to protect himself from the combined efforts of Izumi, Edward, and Alex. Father, angered, made a huge shockwave that sent everyone attacking him physically back, destroying Edward's automail in the process.

"Don't give up yet!" yelled Edward again, kicking at Father to only get blocked by his barrier.

Alex and Izumi were also helping out by punching and elbowing at him to only get blocked, until Father finally blocked Edward's kick. He sent blasted Edward away and sensed the power of God was escaping.

"He's at his limit! He can no longer hold down God!" shouted Hohenheim.

However, at his limits, Father kept struggling and sent a bigger shockwave than before, that sent everyone back.

"Stone... Stone! I need Philosopher Stones!" yelled Father.

Everyone was knocked down and Father started walking up to Edward to take his stone.

"Not so fast, Dwarf in the Flask..." I said, arriving in front of Edward.

"Don't... get in... MY WAY KYOFU!" said Father.

"Kyofu? Who's that?" I asked curiously.

"... Are you not Kyofu? What are you bluffing now? Tell me or I'll take your soul first!" said Father.

"Me?" I smirked. "My name's Zhong Yuan! I came from another universe to defeat you, Homunculus!"

My motioned my body into the same stance I used to defeat Gilgamesh and energy started pouring out of my body.

"Mana? If there's none, I'll just make my own!" I said.

"I'm the bone of my soul.

Indestructible is my body and glass is my heart.

I have created nothing with my hands.

Absent of ideals,

Absent of ideologies.

Withstanding pain until the very end, I await her arrival.

Virtually a machine, time will eventually meet my end.

My feelings were undeniably Void Feelings of Lost."

Finishing my prayer, I loaded my bullet with magic, shooting the ground.

"Let's finish what we started before, Homunculus..."
