26 Chapter 24 - Rematch

I was inside the Emiya's dinning room and heard sounds of doors slamming. It was Saber carrying a bloody Shirou.

"Everyone! Rin was just captured!" (Shirou)

"Oh, ok." (Zhong Yuan)

"...Come on! We have to go save her!" (Shirou)

"...um, no we don't." (Zhong Yuan)

I stared coldly back at his eyes.

"Don't forget, this is a war. Why should I care about her well being?" (Zhong Yuan)

Shirou flinched and sweat gathered up his temples.

"...Please, I beg you!" (Shirou)

"Berserker! Stop teasing him and do what he says." (Illya)

"Okay master..." (Zhong Yuan)

I responded indifferently and asked Shirou.

"So, when are where do we go?" (Zhong Yuan)

"She's at the Einzbern's mansion being hold hostage by Archer!-" (Shirou)

And Shirou dropped to the floor dead

"Uhh... where am I?" (Shirou)

"You woke up sleepyhead? Don't worry, you just slept for one night." (Zhong Yuan)

"Ah! What happened?" (Shirou)

"You had a mana deficiency and your body had so much fatigue you collapsed." (Illya)

"Did you not realize?" (Zhong Yuan)

"Ah crap! How am I going to save Rin then?!" (Shirou)

"Don't worry. Illya here gave you some mana back so lets go." (Zhong Yuan)

Then, our small party consisting of me, Shirou, Illya, and Saber went back to my previous home. Like before, it was still in pieces after my fight with Gilgamesh, but it did seem plausible for it to be a hiding spot. We enter through the broken gates to see Archer again.

"So you want me to leave it up to you?" (Zhong Yuan)

"Yes. I have to teach my future some sense, you know?" (Shirou)

"I'll leave it up to you then. Let's go save Rin Illya." (Zhong Yuan)

"Um!" (Illya)

The battle between their selves started and we went to find Rin. However, we didn't need to search as Kotomine and Lancer appeared in front of us.

"Oh! So you're finally my opponent!" (Lancer)

"Yep. Let's have a good duel." (Zhong Yuan)

We both got in form and charged. I immediately thrusted my sword to his head, but Lancer's battle sense was way too sensitive. He barely dodged my attack by moving his head sideways and got a way with a little scratch on his face.

"Oi! This is too much you know?" (Lancer)

"I know, but you can always use your magic." (Zhong Yuan)

"Sorry, but I like honorable battles! Come on!" (Lancer)

We kept on attacking each other with our weapons, but it was clear that Lancer was losing. Without any choice, Kotomine raised his hand.

"Lancer! I command you to defeat him in any way possible!" (Kotomine)

"Urk! Sorry man, guess I have to go all out." (Lancer)

Lancer then jumped back and his spear started glowing bright red.

"If you know my legend, then you must know what this can do!" (Lancer)

"A power anti-army noble phantasm...I'll be the judge of that!" (Zhong Yuan)

I got my sword in a Ko Gasumi No Kamae (when your katana is above your head, pointing to your enemy with you hands crossed) and activated my skill.

"Emotion Release: Maximum Pain!" (Zhong Yuan)

"Gae Bolg!" (Lancer)

Lancer threw his bright red spear at me while I launched an energy blade that seemed so corrupt, it could taint anything. Illya and Kotomine stared at the destructive reaction from two powerful attacks. It kept on clashing until Gae Bolg's momentum ran out and my energy blade dissipated.

"Are you kidding me? I put my all in this throw, but it didn't do anything? You would have been a worthy opponent during my life." (Lancer)

"Thanks for you compliments. Now..." (Zhong Yuan)

I stared at Kotomine silently and asked.

"What are you going to do next?" (Zhong Yuan)

"... *sighs* guess I have no choice. I command you Archer to appear in front of me!" (Kotomine)

With Kirei ending his sentence, a golden glow appeared and Gilgamesh could be seen.

"You mongrels, so... why have I been summoned..." (Gilgamesh)

Gilgamesh was about to finish his sentence until he saw me.

"So, a tag team against him? Fine by me." (Gilgamesh)

Lancer recovered his spear back and Gilgamesh summoned golden portals with weapons and chain.

"You're going to regret it if you don't take Ea out." (Zhong Yuan)

"I won't need it now Berserker. Us two is enough to defeat you." (Gilgamesh)

"*sighs* I guess you're still a dumb king. You know, it will be way more entertaining to fight you as a caster instead." (Zhong Yuan)

"Ha ha ha! Sorry, but this is my peak as a heroic spirit. Here! Enkidu! Wrap and bind him down like the Bull of Heaven!" (Gilgamesh)

"Ora!" (Lancer)

Knowing this would probably be the most intense fight I'll ever have, I took out Kiritsugu's Thompson Revolver and shot at Gilgamesh. However, by luck, he dodged my bullet.

"Tch!" (Zhong Yuan)

"That weapon! Where did you get it!" (Kotomine)

"Oh, this? Don't worry, I made these from his corpse." (Zhong Yuan)

"What? Is that even possible?" (Kotomine)

"Well, all I did was dig his grave and take some materials. Don't worry, I won't do it again because I know how to manufacture it without his body." (Zhong Yuan)

"Archer! Lancer! Defeat him quickly!" (Kotomine)

"However, this pistol is quite a problem... Let's change weapons." (Zhong Yuan)

Calling out to the system, I got out a Desert Eagle Mark XIX. It is one of the newer models I found in this world and I had the chance to make it with some rare metals. Not only was it powerful, I also infused some emotions into it.

I take out a heavily decorated cartridge and load in inside the gun. Checking to see if it works, I aim at Kotomine's head and pull the trigger. A loud gunshot in heard and Kotomine takes out Black Keys to protect himself. The bullet shatters all the swords and went through Kotomine's arm.

"Don't ever think of healing your arm. That bullet was infused with Angra Mainyu's All the World's Evil, tainting it and making it useless." (Zhong Yuan)

"Not even my Keys powered by Command Spells can defend it... Archer! Lancer! Kill him!"

"Roger!" (Lancer)

"Don't command this king!" (Gilgamesh)

Gilgamesh starts raining down weapons and uses his chains to try to bind me. I summon my Evil form and fight back with dark tentacles. Lancer comes up close and does his best in close quarters to just get kicked back. I also shoot back to keep Gilgamesh occupied.

"I have no choice! Ea!" (Gilgamesh)

A golden portal opened and came out a golden key, in which Gilgamesh holded it and started transforming. The key disappeared and out came Ea, the Sword of Rupture, the star of creation that

split heaven and earth.

"I speak of genesis. The elements amalgamate, coalesce, and bring forth the stars that weave all of creation. Enuma Elish!" (Gilgamesh)

A red spiral appeared in the tip of his sword that stared beaming red lasers to me. Knowing this sword that was part of the Babylonian creation myth, I gather my thoughts and gather my magic into my sword to defend. They all attack me and I started my prayer. All the magic was coalescing into the last bullet in the chamber.

"I'm the bone of my soul.

Indestructible is my body and glass is my heart.

I have created nothing with my hands.

Absent of ideals,

Absent of ideologies.

Withstanding pain until the very end, I await her arrival.

Virtually a machine, time will eventually meet my end.

My feelings were undeniably Void Feelings of Lost."

I defended every single attack and finally shot my bullet at the ground...

Piercing lights surrounded Lancer, Gilgamesh, Kotomine, and Illya. When they finally looked back, they saw a different world. It was a huge floor with flowers littering the ground. Everything was withering in the edge of the world and only in the middle did flowers prosper. In the middle, there was a small pond, a lute, and a hat on a grave. I was in the middle of it with Illya behind me while the others were in front, on the withered flowers.

"A reality marble, what is this?" (Gilgamesh)

"The world in which I came from..." (Zhong Yuan)

"This is Berserker's home?" (Illya)

"No... but it's where I grew..." (Zhong Yuan)

"What's with the grave?" (Lancer)

I turned back to see him.

"My love..." (Zhong Yuan)

"So... You're a hero from the future I've heard..." (Kotomine)

"Yes. You see, I am from a distant place. Where we are at is a castle." (Zhong Yuan)

"Castle? I don't see it" (Gilgamesh)

"The castle is so huge, that we are currently residing in just a small section of a floor and all together, the castle is made of 100 of these floors." (Zhong Yuan)

"A treasure I don't have?" (Gilgamesh)

"Yes, welcome to the floating castle in the sky, Aincrad. Let's play a song, Yuna." (Zhong Yuan)

Picking up the lute, I sit on the grave and start playing. Tears start rolling down my cheeks and I close my eyes.

*ding*

*bling*

*ting*

"...Should we attack him?" (Lancer)

"...I'll give it a try." (Gilgamesh)

Gilgamesh sends out a sword at me, but the weapon slows down mid-air and starts to crumple, then turning to ash. It seemed like a sped up version of a flower withering into small pieces, being blown like dust.

"As long as I'm here, no one can hurt my precious moments... And at the same... you shall wither like I once did." (Zhong Yuan)

Kotomine then looked at his own hand. It was growing wrinkles and his senses started deteriorating. The same thing was going on to Gilgamesh and Lancer. They originally strong bodies started losing muscles and were becoming skinnier. Illya watched in horror as they grew old really quick.

Gilgamesh summoned another portal and a potion came out. He opened the lid and started drinking.

"Not on my watch." (Zhong Yuan)

Gilgamesh started laughing.

"Ha ha ha! It's too late! I already drank the potion of immortality and..." (Gilgamesh)

Gil's body which reverted back to his adult form was still decaying.

"This isn't a withering of the body, it's one of the soul. And all souls will reach it's end." (Zhong Yuan)

"No! My dream! I haven't found my meaning yet!" (Kotomine)

Smiling, lancer shrugged, "I guess we didn't any chance..."

"NO! You mongrel!" (Gilgamesh)

Gilgamesh used Enuma Elish again, but it did nothing.

"Why isn't Ea working?"

"This Reality Marble is powered by emotion storage of pure evil and this evil can not be destroyed." (Zhong Yuan)

Staring at the three people turning to corpses, the dead plants move to absorb the nutrients from the bodies.

"It was a fun fight. Good bye." I smiled shyly.

And white mist started evaporating off their dried up corpses.
