The sweet cold juice went down her throat, Zhi Rui closed her eyes feeling it spread coldness into her body.

"Why?" Was what Xia Chu managed to utter after minuted of astounded bewilderment.

Zhi Rui smiled.

"To get a deal with you." Zhi Rui said.

"And you think you have something valuable enough to move me? I'm someone born and raised in a place ten times bigger and more competitive than here. This might be the chance of your life, but for me, it's nothing."

She said, but withing her she was already trying to guess what background Zhi Rui truly has.

But is often overlooked on her own clan, and example being her most recent task; protect and give directions to the waste, Bain Bengwan. as an exchange for a simple favor his clan performed for the Sun clan."

Zhi Rui cited calmly.

The air around turned slightly cold. eerily silent.

"Who's backing you?" Xia Chu suddenly asked, making Zhi Rui be startled inwardly.

'Does she think I'm being patronized? I certainly am, but by Xu Fenguying and the tower maiden... both are weak...'

Not saying anything Zhi Rui just smiled and waved her finger.

She squinted her eyes as killing intent rose on her heart. 'If I take these things, deliver the stolen goods, I can cut her head off and gain this pocket dimension for myself.'

Subtly, five elemental energy started forming around.

But Zhi Rui's smiled thickened by the seconds, and Xia Chu grew more suspicious of Zhi Rui and hesitated.

"What if I steal these things?"

"You won't be able to." Zhi Rui answered.

Xia Chu hesitated against the looked to the side with a snort.

"I can give you one." Zhi Rui said. "In exchange, we'll be best friends." The smile on her was bright as the sunshine.

"I'm paying a favor, I cannot afford to go back on my word." Xia Chu said wit ha frown.

"I won't need more then what you can give me."

"I want one of the top five."

Zhi Rui laughed at the words. "You can't cultivate them even if you get them, you know that already, but, it seems you want to bring it to your clan?" Zhi Rui looked at her reaction and sighed realizing that was exactly it.

"These complex of neglect siblings are what is destroying the higher class. Look at you, you have a chance to gather something for yourself but instead, you wast it for mere approval of your elders. Anyone can give you a smile and a pat to the head and tell you did well. But only you can live your life." Zhi Rui said. "You despise Bain Bengwan, but that trait of your is very similar to him. That guy, Gao Fang, observed that and the next thing he did was made the boy his personal sissy. Isn't that an example bad enough for you?"

Noticing she was sounding like an old lady Zhi Rui just sighed and sped on her juice that was warm now.

"I can give you one of the venerable levels, in exchange for an oath about the things you saw here."

The thought of grabbing things and executing Zhi Rui passed by her mind again. Her body act by instinct. To which, Zhi Rui snorted. And the pocket dimension started to tremble.

A chill came over Xia Chu and she looked behind her, the door was gone. and the dimension was showing cracks through the wall.

"Are you crazy!? you'll kill us both!"

"I have been patient enough. give me an oath, or die here with me." Zhi Rui's madness filled face, pressured Xia Chu.

She closed her eyes firmly.

"I swear to never divulge information of Zhi Rui's pocket dimension!"

Suddenly everything became normal again. Even a level six cultivator couldn't survive inside an exploding pocket dimension.

Xia Chu frowned, her mood wasn't good. she'd had jus been coerced into an oath and just when she thought it was worth it, Zhi Rui included another set of rules for their relationships.

"You despise Bain Bengwan, and his clan, you're only paying back a favor, will you really let go of this chance because of a ridiculous mission your family gave you?"

She was still hesitating Zhi Rui snorted. "You're dumb, so dumb you didn't realize the truth of things."

Zhi Rui shook her head and looked at Xia Chu with wide ruthless eyes.

"Your parents already have a favorite, and that's your talented sister, you can't change them, no matter what you do. Because your sister was born with talent, she's a rainbow of good fortune, but because you had to struggle you're a story of success to support your sisters light, why do you think you're the one wasting your time here, while your sister is doing something completely different? Realize this; people grab on the tighs of the strong while kicking down the weak. you have a chance to be extraordinary, all you need to do is keep silent, then instead of an afterthought they'll seek you out. And if you make yourself not available all the time, you'll gather even more respect."

"Now choose." Zhi Rui said.

Xia Chu like a little girl was trembling with pursed lips. Deep down she knew Zhi Rui was right, but if changing was easy everyone would be an immortal.

She knew, deep withing what was best for her, but the impulse was telling her to simply do what was right for the clan, in the end, she remembered every time she was picked second.

Gnashing her teeth, with tears in her rims. She picked one of the five Cultivation.

Zhi Rui smiled with a weight off her shoulders.
