35 The Blinding Scythe of Destiny

"Aurel! Take it's left paw i'm taking the right, Angel help us by distracting him!" I told to both of them, we were now fighting a giant bear, more precisely, a Berserk Bear. It is 3.6 Meter tall with brown colored fur and some red stripes all over it. With 2 Big paws, used to slaughter it's enemy it can decimate all of his enemies, well not us.

It's level is 213 , higher than all of us but with numbers we can definitely kill him. The bear swung it's left paw to Aurel, leaving his right side off-guarded, i immediately swung my scythe, imbued with dark energy to corrode the bear's defense. The bear's right paw got slashed and a big mark could be seen.

The bear roared when it felt the slash, using that chance, Angel chanted a magic spell and direct it towards the bear, it hit the bear making it even more angry. It then entered it's berserk form, making his body bigger, it's fur is now blood red while his eyes are glowing with red color.

Its ignored the pain it is feeling and swung it's paw frantically, not even caring if it hit a target or not. It's attacks are more powerful right now but it is now more vulnerable to our attacks.

When it is in this form, it only makes it easier for us to kill it. Me and Aurel are agility based, making it easy for us to dodge it's attacks, no matter how powerful an attack is, if it doesn't hit it's pretty much useless.

We finished the fight in 30 seconds, killing it thoroughly. We gained a pretty big chunk of EXP from the bear, it is the third level 200+ beast we killed ever since Aurel told me the story. Both Aurel and Angel are at the 110s when we first met but now they are at the level 115, Gaining a lot from this journey. Even if it seem unrealistic for 3 people at the level 115-150 defeating a level 200 monster, we somehow did it. From the first monster, we were kinda afraid but when we defeated it, it also surprised us...

"Still, just with the three of us defeating it... it seems unreal." Angel said

"Yeah, i also don't know how, i guess we really are cooperative. Our teamwork are just that good." Aurel replied, our teamwork is maybe what makes us really strong...

"Well, don't really need to think about it that much, as long as we could defeat them and train, lets just continue." I dismissed their thought since prying into it too much won't really give us anything.

After that time it was in the afternoon around 2 O'Clock, we still have a lot of time so we kept hunting until the moon came, just like yesterday, all the corpses are taken by me, they were still not too bothered about it so i just took all of it, i still need a lot of corpse to devour to get stronger.

And the same as yesterday after we ate our dinner, i kept guard first, letting both Aurel and Angel to sleep, getting Felicia out and played with her, the endurance pill is still in effect so i wanted to use its effect to the fullest. Playing with Felicia is always fun, even if we do the same thing all over again its just fun in its own way.

Today i wanted to check the shop, since i have a lot of S Points to use, i still got around 18k S Points left with me, i browsed the shop for an uncommon to rare grade scythe, even if i have darkness scythe skill and made my basic scythe a low rare grade weapon, i could just enhance an uncommon or rare grade weapon, i wonder what the scythe's grade will be later.

The shop function have a filter so i could just filter out my choices. I choose scythe, uncommon and rare, and then lost of scythe are displayed on the screen, some of them having majestic appearance and even some of them have an appearance that of a basic scythe, keeping a low profile....

I checked the scythe one by one, just the ones that somehow grabs my attention, either because of it's name or it's appearance.

There are a lot of scythes that i'm interested in but i only chose one, and that is 'The Blinding Scythe of Destiny'.

[Blinding Scythe of Destiny Level 1 : A weapon crafted by a light based blacksmith, imbued with holy power able to pierce and purge darkness or unholy powers, especially useful to kill demons and devils. Light elements could be harness by the owner, at the cost of his / her mana, according to the weapon's grade and the wielder's aptitude. The thing that piques my interest is that this scythe is the only light element scythe in the shop and it is evolvable, while my scythe skill is darkness type, a two different polar opposites, just like my aptitude. I really want to know what will happen if i use this.
