Orochimaru and Danzo both used Cursed jutsu like in the manga in the anime Danzo curse seal goes on the tongue and stop people from speaking about certain things except it can paralyze the body anytime he pleases and makes it easier to torture people and expose their secrets.
Orochimaru curse seal is a new curse seal she created in this world. The seal takes the control of a snake as it slitters around the prey constricting the prey. Once the snake constricts hard enough to the point where the prey is in a weakened state the snake will become embedded into the prey and turn into seals where it controls the body of the prey.
