30 Reporting back

Shun glared at the Kumo Shinobi in front of him as he asked the question again, "Tell me, what is your purpose in infiltrating Konoha?" The leader among the Kumo shinobi started to speak with a chill down his spine.

"We were entering Konoha because of the mission by our Raikage, he wanted to find out more about the Ninja who was destroying our camps in Konoha. I didn't think that I would actually meet-"

Suddenly, he was hit with two Kunai on his legs and Shun started to speak, "Do you think of me as an idiot? Does the Raikage needs to send such a force to get information about that ninja? To me, it seems as if you were here to assassinate someone from the Konoha Military or to kidnap someone."

Those words nearly scared the shit out of Kumo ninja, they didn't think that he had actually thought of the possible reasons for why they were infiltrating Konoha.

With that, shun started to explain his reasoning behind those words, "To assassinate someone, you all don't seem to have the required strength. But it would be a different matter if you wanted to kidnap someone, now, tell me!"

At those words, they felt as if they had encountered someone who could read their minds, just why were their objectives known to him. And then, they did another mistake, the Leader of Kumo team glanced at his team with a fearful expression.

This all happened while he was being observed by the Sharingan, even though the Kumo had heard of the rumors about its powers, it was difficult to believe its powers otherwise the leader would have thought twice before doing this.

It was at this moment that they knew that they would have to tell him the truth to actually save their life, they didn't have any other option, either say the truth or get tortured by this kid.

With that, Shun started to throw his Kunai at the 7 other Kumo ninjas legs who were tied to the trees not far away from him.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH..... Leader save us!" One of them spoke out as he couldn't take the pain of his arms being broken and now his legs were also being targeted.

Another man spoke out, "Please leader, speak the truth…. AHHHhhhhhhhh...." At those words even the Leader of the Kumo team felt that it wasn't worth it to keep the information.

It seems as if Shun had already decided to torture them to death if they don't tell him the truth, he sighed as he whispered softly, 'I apologize Lord Raikage, but I guess I will have to speak the truth before these teammates of mine are tortured to death.'

"Alright, stop. I will speak then. The reason for our infiltration in Konoha." Hearing that tone, Shun finally let out a sigh as he knew that the man was serious now.

He had finally let go of that thought that he could get out of here alive, he just didn't want him to torture his companions, "The reason we entered Konoha is because we received an information that Konoha has a person with a special chakra that can suppress Biju! We came here so that we can convince her to join our village."

Those words, as soon as they got out of his mouth, he had sealed his death. Shun coldly glanced at the man, "Heh… So, you came here to kidnap her. Tell me, from where did you get that information?"

"I don't know!" The man voiced out and he was right, he truly didn't know about this, he just had some idea from the conversation with Raikage.

He started speaking because he didn't want to anger Shun at this moment, for now, his expression was as calm as an ocean but he could feel a wrath that would swallow them all if he answered incorrectly.

"I don't exactly know how the Raikage knew about this information but I guess that it was because of some insider information from Konoha." And that was all he could say before Shun spoke out, "Alright, that's enough from you."

With that, he turned around and the Konoha team saw 8 Shun appearing in front of Kumo Ninjas and sliced their heads. They were shocked by the speed at which he made his clones, they didn't see him make any hand-signs, they finally understood why he was called a genius.

They stared into his Red Cold-Blooded Eyes, Shun spoke out, "Let's get out of here and report back to Lord Hokage." Kushiro and the other team members nodded as they started to jump back towards the down.

Along the way, a Chuunin asked a question, "Hey everyone, was it right to kill all of them without interrogating them?"

Another Chuunin spoke out, "Well, they didn't give us any chance to interrogate them. We had no choice but to kill them. Isn't that right, Shun?"

At those words, Shun nodded with a calm expression on his face as he turned off his Sharingan. He had manipulated their memories and made them forget about some things as it wasn't good for them to know too much about this matter.

'It's a good thing that I can manipulate their memories to some extent and make them forget about it or with the carelessness that they have, they would have informed the Hokage about this. Looks like someone high up is spreading the information about Konoha…'

He thought with a grim expression on his face as he realized that the man must be very strong and one of the most trusted people by the hokage.

'I have to be careful so as not to enter his eye. I have to make sure that I don't do something very eye-catching from now on. I wonder how he will react when he finds out that his deal with Kumo failed.'

As he was moving at high speeds, his mind also didn't stop thinking and continued 'He will definitely search for the team due to which his plan with Kumo didn't come to fruition. Looks like I will be approached by him soon enough… I have to be careful!'

With that, he went inside the Hokage office and saw the Third hokage sitting on his seat while smoking his cigar with a grim expression on his face.

He saw that it was Kushiro and his team that had come back to report and commanded them, "Alright, report!" Kushiro was fazed for a moment and took a deep breath as he calmed down.

He started speaking, "Lord Hokage, we encountered the Kumo team as they were about to enter the Konoha, we were ready to ambush them suddenly but they were ready for us."

"It was as if they were ready for a Konoha team to go for them and fought with us. We tried to capture them but had no other choice then to go with the intent to kill as they were quite strong."
