21 Returning back

Shun was looking towards a direction in which he could see about 100's of soldier's chakra, he pulled out 10 Kunai, "Alright now, time to kill you all!" With that, he suddenly threw all 10 Kunai and made a hand seal, "Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

The 10 Kunai duplicated ten times and hit all the 100 men standing in that direction, they fell down as they clutched their throat, they didn't think that someone would actually target them after firing so many of the Fireball.

They were even more surprised as to why he could see in the fireball when they couldn't see anything. At this time, the commander of the Suna Army loudly ordered them, "Retreat! Quickly use the defensive Jutsu and retreat!"

After some time, the smoke cleared out, only Shun and Sakumo remained standing with some energy left, all the Konoha soldiers cheered, "We are saved! Thank god that we had the White Fang with us!"

Sakumo remained silent as he heard all that praise about him, he glanced towards Shun and noticed that he didn't seem to care about this praise. He simply went back to his tent and laid down on his bed and fell asleep.

He was quite tired even though he didn't let it show on his face, he used quite a bit of Chakra in that fight earlier.

There were many shinobi who started to cheer for Sakumo as they loudly roared, "White Fang! White Fang! Konoha's White Fang!"

Seeing such a united force cheering for him, Sakumo was confused as to how he should feel about this, he hadn't even done as much as Shun.

The idea about transformation Jutsu and the clones whether Shadow Clones or Normal Clones to confuse the enemy came from Shun, a boy who had graduated from the Academy just a day ago.

He felt as if he was undeserving of the praise that he was receiving from the army, he desperately wanted to shout out that they have been singing praises for the wrong person.

But he was also scared, scared that this will make Shun famous and let many mercenaries on his tail, he wouldn't be able to take it if Konoha lost a wonderful shinobi because of his mistake.

He quietly whispered in the night, "I shall take credit for now until you eclipse us all with your legend boy…" His words weren't heard by anyone there as they seemed to be busy with the party and celebration.

While he was sleeping, Sakumo was talking with the Jounin commander in charge of managing the army.

"I see that there are too few soldiers at the border. If me and Shun weren't here then Konoha would have suffered some heavy losses. I will inform about this to Lord hokage and request him to send some reinforcements." Sakumo smiled as he finished up.

His words were met up with cheers from the whole army camp as they asked him to have a victory drink together with them, Sakumo didn't refuse them and did drink quite a bit.

As a shinobi, they had drunk many times and already developed a high tolerance. Sakumo also fell down on his bed and slept soundly after quite a bit of time.

The shinobis in the Army camp were stationed around Shun and Sakumo's tent as they didn't want someone to disturb their sleep. They had seen their contribution in the fight today, it was without a doubt that Shun had the potential to surpass the White Fang, they had decided to protect such a gem.

Fortunately, nothing more happened that night and it passed away very easily.

Shun and Sakumo woke up and left the camp early. They wanted to return back to Konoha very quickly but for different reasons, Shun wanted to return quickly to meet up with Mikoto and Kushina.

While, Sakumo wanted to return quickly because he wanted to meet up with Hokage and inform him about the mission. He also wanted to inform the Hokage that the army at the Konoha-Suna border was in quick need for reinforcement.

At this time, both Mikoto and Kushina were at the academy. He started thinking 'Alright, since I can't meet them right now. Then I got to train that technique today, it would have helped me a lot at that time.'

He went in the Forest of death to train that technique. There were two reasons as he thought 'There aren't normally any shinobi stationed here, even they are, there is enough place to hide here.'

He looked towards the west and saw that the sun was setting right now, the time to meet up with Mikoto and Kushina had come. He wondered 'I hope they weren't too worried. Well, yesterday was Kushina's first day, it should have gone fine enough.'

It didn't take long for him to return back to his house, he heard a familiar voice speaking about something in the house. It was Mikoto and Kushina who were talking about the events at the school.

Kushina was ranting on and on, "Those damn students decided to make fun of my hair again. I swear, I will beat every single one of them so bad that they won't say it again dattebane!"

Shun eavesdropped their conversation as he heard Mikoto's sigh, "Well, I think its going too far with the way they are bullying you. I didn't think it was a big deal yesterday but if they didn't stop today then your academy days won't be pleasant."

Kushina nodded as she agreed to Mikoto's words, "Help me Mikoto, alright. Oh and keep it a secret from Shun please." And that was all he listened before Shun disappeared from that location.

'I shouldn't let them know that I was eavesdropping their conversation. So, Kushina is being bullied because of her hair colour and the fact that she is an outsider. How interesting…' Shun thought with a devilish smile on his face, he now knew what he would do tomorrow.

He returned back to the house, this time, he didn't try to be stealthy and entered it normally, Kushina and Mikoto stopped talking as they heard some footsteps.

Mikoto and Kushina ran out of their room as they saw a familiar face returning back to the house, Mikoto jumped towards him in excitement, she hugged him tightly as she spoke out, "Shun, you finally returned back."

Shun put his hand on the back of her head as he softly spoke out, "Hmm… Yea. I have returned, it was an interesting mission to say the least."

Mikoto was about to ask the information on the mission but Shun anticipated her question and put his finger on top of her lips as he spoke out, "Sorry, but no information on the missions."

"Mou… Can't you just make an exception for me?" Mikoto looked at him with a cute expression as she tried to make him talk about the mission.
