11 Shun meets the Nine Tailed Fox

They entered a large and an empty room, it had a table set up in the middle of the room with chairs all around it. Shun stood next to a chair as he turned towards Kushina and Mito. Kushina furrowed her eyebrows as she saw him standing next to a chair, "Shun, sit-down, will you? This is gonna be my home dattebane~"

Mito smiled at the words of her granddaughter, she was happy that Kushina had found a friend of her age as soon as she entered the village. She stared at Shun and actually started observing him for real.

He wore dark clothes with a calm expression on his face, her eyes did widen as she saw his forehead headband, it brought back memories of her late husband as she saw an illusionary image of him on this young boy.

She asked him as she was lost in her thoughts, "Who gave this headband to you?" Shun turned towards her as he heard her question, he knew that she must have recognized that this was the headband of her late husband.

He didn't know if she was asking in anger or just for curiosity and answered her, "Lord Hokage gave it to me for my graduation. He said that Lord Hashirama would be proud that I wear his headband." He quickly said that last line as he didn't know what she would do.

Mito chuckled at his response as she gently spoke, "Don't worry, I am not angry. In fact, I am happy, looks like the little monkey finally found a worthy Uchiha." Shun sweat dropped as he heard her referring the Third Hokage as 'Little Monkey'.

No other person other than her would dare to call this in front of the Hokage, Shun nodded his head as he understood that. He asked her, "If I may ask a question Lady Mito." Mito did wonder what he wanted to ask.

She motioned him, "Okay, you can ask it." Shun took in a deep breath as he knew that he was asking a personal question and the matter of a Clan.

"I want to know why Kushina has been asked to come and live in Konoha. What is in the Konoha that isn't in the Uzumaki Village, I believe she would be able to learn more about seals there and also live a happy life so why?" He asked her with some confusion evident in his eyes.

Mito's expression turned serious as she heard that question, she didn't think that this young boy actually asked such a question, she merely replied with a stern tone, "I cannot answer that question. In return, you can ask another question, I can see that you still have another one."

Shun nodded as he understood that he was prying too much, he simply asked another question, "Lady Mito, tell me, why do I feel such strong and dense amount of chakra directed at me from your body?"

Mito's eyes widened as she heard that, she saw him using his Sharingan to investigate the cause and had an idea about the reason. It was because the Nine tailed Fox inside of her was once controlled by Madara Uchiha with his Sharingan.

The Nine Tailed Fox hated being controlled but its pride was stepped upon by Madara Uchiha, he had controlled it using his Mangekyou Sharingan. That did sow the seeds for hatred against the Cursed Sharingan.

And now that it felt the Sharingan so close to itself, it was doing all it could to get out of those bindings and kill this young boy. Mito was releasing a faint Red Chakra which seemed quite Toxic and Shun was quick to notice this fact.

He stared into her eyes that he suddenly found himself in an unfamiliar place, he was standing in a clear area, his calm expression changed as he saw a huge Nine Tailed Fox chained to a Huge rock with golden chains.

He could see the Red Chakra spreading all over those chains and trying to break them apart, those red slit eyes that looked at him with such hatred as if he was the one who trapped him.

He suddenly felt another presence beside him and saw that it was Mito Uzumaki, she didn't even turn towards Shun as she continued to fixed her eyes at the Nine Tailed Fox, her cold voice was resounded in her mental scape, "Why are you in such an unrest Kyuubi? This boy is not Madara Uchiha, he is just a young boy."

Kyuubi didn't even seem to listen to her words as it continued to stare at Shun and those hateful Sharingan eyes. Shun finally got out of the shock as he heard Mito's voice, he wondered as he raised his eyebrows, "So, this is the Nine tailed Fox huh…"

Kyuubi growled as it heard his words, it didn't like the fact that this child wasn't scared of it, he let out a growl as it voiced out, "You have quite the nerve to stand in front of me and speak, you Uchiha brat."

Shun shrugged as he heard its words, he responded to Kyuubi in a casual tone, "And what else should I do? Be scared in front of a chained Beast? Or perhaps Pity your fate…?" Mito was surprised when she could feel her chains trembling as the Kyuubi heard those words.

"YOU DARE PITY ME!" Kyuubi roared out as it exerted its entire strength to try to get out of those chains, Mito had a monotonous expression on her face as she motioned her hands and two more chains held the Kyuubi tightly.

She was busy in concentrating her power and keeping the Kyuubi trapped that she didn't say anything to Shun. While Shun was staring at Kyuubi with his Sharingan and spoke out loud, "I truly do not understand the reason why you hate me. Is it because of the Sharingan eyes? Is it because these eyes manipulated you?"

The Kyuubi growled out but didn't deny his claims, Shun's eyes showed a cold look as he stared at the chained Beast, "Then hate yourself for being manipulated. You are the one who was weak, is that my or Sharingan's fault that you are mentally weaker and let yourself be manipulated."

And this was the line that calmed the Kyuubi slightly, it had never thought of things from such a perspective. Yes, it should hate Madara Uchiha but why the Sharingan Wielding people, is it their fault that they had these eyes as Bloodline.

If it was their fault then it would be thinking mad for its own father, the Sage of Six Paths, as the Uchihas were the descendants of the Sage of Six Paths themselves. Shun's eyes remained cold as he continued, "And that is the reason that we humans will be superior even with our thousands of weakness in front of a Beast like you. We accept our weakness and cover them up to become better than before…"

Kyuubi was relatively calmer than before but it still flared up as it heard those words, "Get me out of these chains and I will show you true despair. You humans are nothing in front of me."

Shun's eyes revealed a cold look as he answered Kyuubi, "You seem to have forgotten that you were beaten by Lord Hashirama even when you were teamed up with Madara Uchiha. And he was a human! Madara Uchiha, the one who controlled you was human! Mito Uzumaki, the one who has sealed you in her own body is a human as well! Remember, we are humans, our potential is something that you cannot imagine, the power has corroded your mind!"

Mito Uzumaki finally didn't need to use extra chains as the Kyuubi finally fell silent, her mindscape turned exceptionally quiet as she stared at Shun, she could see a vivid image of Hashirama on top of this child.
