9 Kushina Uzumaki

Hiruzen stared at the kneeling Headmaster and ordered him, "Alright, stand up now. You can go now, I will search for him and give him the Konoha's headband and graduate him." The headmaster nodded and obeyed the orders of the Hokage.

After the headmaster went away, Hiruzen stared at the empty office as he gave out the order, "Find Shun Uchiha and bring him here immediately." Four shadows leapt from the walls and started to search for Shun in different parts of Konoha.

At this time, Shun had deduced that this info would definitely reach the Hokage and was also on his way to the Hokage's office, the thing was that no Anbu expected Shun to come into the Hokage's office.

They were searching him all around the village while he entered the Hokage's office and immediately kneeled in front of Hiruzen Sarutobi, "Shun Uchiha greets Lord Hokage." Even Hiruzen was surprised to find out that this child was Shun Uchiha.

These eyes showed the signs of maturity at the young age of 7 years old, his expression was completely unreadable which made Hokage not know as to what was this boy thinking, was he excited, was he nervous or was he completely calm and didn't feel any nervousness or anything?

It made him curious in this young boy, he voiced out loud, "I just head from your headmaster that we should graduate you and make you a Genin. What do you have to say about that?" Shun looked down as he kept up his poker face.

"I shall become a Genin but on the condition that Mikoto Uchiha wouldn't be graduated early. Is that fine Lord Hokage?" He proposed out his deal as he didn't want Mikoto to enter this ruthless world of Shinobi yet.

Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded his head as he didn't want to let a young girl enter the battlefield as well, he could wait for her to graduate in a normal way, the situation with Shun Uchiha was quite special.

"So, you are raised by Miyuki Uchiha and Kansuke Uchiha. I believe that you must want to know about them…" Hiruzen spoke these words as he continued to observe the change in Shun's expression.

He was disappointed as he found no change and a calm voice speaking, "If Lord hokage wants, he can tell me. I shall not ask for too much, I understand the importance to maintain the secrecy of a Mission."

Hokage didn't know how to respond to such a response, he stayed silent as this topic was something that he wished to ignore at this moment. He did however say, "I shall inform you of one thing, Miyuki Uchiha and Kansuke Uchiha are dead."

Shun continued to look down on the ground as he held onto his flat and unreadable expression, he had already convinced himself that they were already dead, "Did they die a death of honour or…?" Hokage remained silent about this fact, "I cannot talk to you about it."

"I understand.", was the response of Shun. He knew that it would be useless to pursue this topic. The Hokage's office remained silent for some time before the Hokage threw pulled out a headband from his drawer and threw it towards him.

It was an old headband with numerous small scratches on it, from the creases behind, he could tell that it was born by someone else, Hiruzen started to explain the matter about the headband, "This is the only headband that I have with me. The headband of Lord Hashirama!"

Now, these words did break the unreadable expression on Shun's face, he didn't expect that this was the headband of the legend among the Shinobi's, the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, the Strongest Shinobi without a doubt.

Shun inquired the reason as to why he was given such a precious headband, "Lord Hokage, I would like to ask the reason as to why I am given such a precious headband, the headband of Lord Hashirama himself. I do not believe that I am good enough to wear this."

"No, my child, you are good enough. You must know that Madara Uchiha and Lord Hashirama were good friends before Madara Uchiha betrayed the village, Lord Hashirama wanted to give out this headband to a worthy Uchiha shinobi." Hiruzen gave out these reasons but he was slightly astonished to see his unreadable expression breaking due to this headband.

He smiled a little as he thought 'It seems an Uchiha with the Will of Fire has been born. I hope that you survive the battlefield and come out on top as you become strong enough to take this position if Orochimaru isn't good enough.'

Hiruzen spoke out loud, "Alright, I have a perfect mission for you. It is quite important." Shun's ears perked up as he heard that he would have to do a mission, he knew that he was just a Genin so he would have to do D to C rank missions only.

Hiruzen started to explain about the mission, "It is a C-Rank mission. You have to escort a young girl from the Konoha Gate to the Uzumaki compound in the village. Her name is Uzumaki Kushina. She has red hair so it should be easy to spot her."

Shun nodded with an expressionless face as he gets out of the Hokage's office using the Shunshin. Hokage wasn't surprised to see him using this Jutsu because if Shun knew the Shadow Clone Jutsu then Shunshin was still quite basic Jutsu what he was surprised about was the fact that Shun made a single hand sign for this Jutsu which meant that he had mastered it.

He knew full well about how hard this Jutsu was, even some experienced Chuunins haven't mastered this Jutsu, his face broke out into a small smile as he knew that he had found a gem, a great shinobi in the making, he could witness a Shinobi rising to the heights of Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju.

Suddenly, he heard a swoosh and all four of his Anbu bodyguards returned back, they looked down as they were disappointed in themselves, they informed the Hokage, "We apologise to Lord Hokage, but we have failed to find Shun Uchiha. We are ready to accept any punishment for the failure of this mission."

Hokage looked towards them with an stern expression, he spoke in a rough and stern voice, "From now on there will be another member in this force and he will be in charge of watching over the Hokage's Tower while the other 4 will search for the person in the village."

They were all confused by this order but nobody dared to say anything in front of Hiruzen Sarutobi at this moment, no Anbu wanted to face the wrath of Lord Hokage, he wasn't called God of Shinobi for nothing, he was the reason why the other villages hesitated to launch an attack on Konoha.

Shun was moving with a fast speed as he reached the Konoha's gate, he observed that there was a girl standing in front of Konoha's Main gate as she was looking towards the Hokage mountains with an excited look on her face.

He noticed that she had Red coloured hairs and matched the description that the Hokage gave him, he approached her as her, the girl didn't notice him coming near her until he was too close.

But as soon as Shun entered the arm's length of Kushina, he suddenly felt a cold blade touching his throat, "Stop right there. Don't come any closer." Shun's expression didn't change as he calmly glanced at the man who held the sword.

He blinked his eyes as he calmly spoke out, "I was asked by Lord Hokage that I have to escort a Red-Haired girl to the Uzumaki Compound, I didn't think that the girl in question was of 7 years old."

Kushina looked at him with surprise evident in her eyes, she saw the headband on his forehead and understood that this meant that he was a Genin now, she pointed her finger as she shouted out loud, "You… YOU ARE A SHINOBI! You are almost the same age as me Dattebane~"
