5 Unlocking Chakra

Shun and Mikoto returned back home together, both of them were silent during the whole journey, they were thinking of ways to improve their short points that they found out in today's day.

Shun was a bit excited to unlock his chakra, he wanted to use the techniques that the Shinobi's could use in a fight. From the theory, it seemed pretty interesting, from the book he knew how to unlock his chakra.

It was to form a ram seal, close the eyes and start concentrating all of his energy in his energy centre. He didn't know what might happen and he didn't want to endanger Mikoto with the stunt that he was about to pull off, so he decided to try it out secretly.

If it didn't work out then he would just have to wait for the instructors at the Academy to help him and if he succeeded then he would tell Mikoto about this and tell her how to unlock her own chakra too.

After returning back home, the first thing that he did was eat something as he was quite hungry. During eating the food, Mikoto informed Miyuki about what happened in the Academy and started to explain in great detail.

After Shun felt that he had enough food, he glanced at the two of them talking to each other, it didn't look like they had any intention of stopping their talks at this moment, he quietly slipped away from the hall and stepped out of the house.

He knew about a training ground nearby the Uchiha district and knew that it was empty at this time of the day, he sat on a stone with while making a half ram seal that he had seen in the textbook.

He did as he was told in the book and closed his mind as he concentrated on his energy centre, he let his mind drift and search for his Chakra. He didn't know that he was releasing an extreme amount of Chakra, the chakra level which should be impossible for a child of his age.

It was High Chuunin Level Chakra!

And right now, Shun Uchiha was feeling a very hot energy overflowing inside of his body, it was as if it was ready to burst out and destroy everything in its range. He took a deep breath and forcefully calmed down his body as he started thinking 'Is that how it feels to have our Chakra unlocked? The book didn't mention anything about this.'

He stopped thinking after some time and returned back to the house, he knew that their talking should come to an end now. He entered very quietly, he was surprised to find out that those two were still talking but it looks as if they were finally slowing down.

He stepped forwards that suddenly Miyuki turned towards him with a surprised expression, she stopped talking with Mikoto and exclaimed out in surprise, "You… You have unlocked your chakra!"

Shun was confused as to how Miyuki came to know this fact, he had just entered the house, he was curious about this and wondered out loud, "How did Aunt Miyuki find out about this? Is it so obvious?"

Miyuki shook her head as she started to explain, "Yes, the reason I found out about it is because you are unconsciously releasing your chakra. Can't you feel as if you are a little more powerful than usual?"

Shun's eyes widened as he heard her words, he was definitely feeling such a thing but he didn't know about the reason, he thought 'So, this was the reason. But how can I control my chakra now…?'

Shun was a bit anxious as he asked her, "Can I control it? Can I make it that no chakra is leaked from my body?" Miyuki smiled a little as she heard his words, she glanced at Mikoto and thought 'I guess, the time has already come.'

She nodded her head as she did know of many ways to control the chakra, she saw Mikoto was looking a bit disappointed as she still hadn't unlocked her own chakra, "Alright then, I have a condition before I teach you, how to control your chakra."

Shun raised his eyebrows as he heard her mention about a condition, "What condition?" Miyuki smiled a little as she asked her daughter, "Come here, Mikoto." Mikoto stepped forwards and was now standing right in front of Shun.

"Since you have already unlocked your chakra, then help Mikoto to unlock her chakra too. I will teach the both of you about the way to control your chakra." She had a smile on her face as she told them about this.

Shun facepalms as he listens to her condition, "Of course I was planning to help Mikoto unlock her chakra. And here I thought it would have been something major." Mikoto brightened up as she heard this.

She was happy that he cared for her, she didn't know why he didn't take her along when he was unlocking his chakra but she didn't care, these words had won her heart. She hugged him tightly as she expressed her happiness.

After some moments, they separated and Shun asked for a leave while saying, "Alright Aunt Miyuki, we will take our leave now. We will come back after Mikoto has unlocked her chakra."

Miyuki nodded and stared at their backs as they disappeared from her view, she whispered in a soft voice, "I hope you are able to support each other and live peacefully after this war comes to an end."

A wish by probably every parent during this time of the war, who didn't want their children to live happily after war, every parent did. She knew that she wouldn't be able to ignore her duties as a shinobi, she will have to leave along with her husband to perform the missions that they have been ignoring for now.

She wanted to make them enough powerful before leaving, and Shun's Sharingan had given her hope, hope that they maybe strong enough to take care of themselves. While she was thinking this, Shun was explaining about how to unlock chakra to Mikoto.

Mikoto was quite smart as she understood how to unlock her chakra, she made a half ram seal and started concentrating her mind, Shun was a little surprised to feel a sudden shockwave which pushed him back a step.

It indicated that Mikoto's chakra has now been unlocked, her chakra reserves were at Low Genin Level. Shun stared at her face and questioned her, "So, Mikoto, did you also feel the hot feeling when you were awakening your chakra?"

Mikoto shook her head in negative as she didn't feel anything of that sort, she answered him, "No, in fact, it was quite relaxing. It brought extreme amount of comfort to me." Shun continued to stare at her as her answer was similar to what was written in the book.

But he wondered, why did he not feel the same, he felt a hot fire that seemed to swallow everything. It was scary as hell, he was relieved that she didn't experience it. He didn't want her to experience something as scary as that.

Both of them returned back to the house, Miyuki smiled a little as she could feel that her daughter's chakra was now unlocked, she had picked up 2 leaves before and now, she gave one to each one of them.

She gave out an explanation about the leaf concentration practise, "Place this leaf on top of your forehead and start concentrating your entire chakra on the leaf. Your objective is to make the leaf stick with your body completely. This exercise is used to control the chakra more effectively. Do this one and it should be enough for you right now."
