2 Forest of Death.

A half hour later.

Darius was already reaching the outskirts of the forest.

(These trees are huge.)

Darius forgot about everything and started to admire nature. He lived his entire in the city. Everything in this forest was something new and interesting. The boy started walking further into the forest. It was amazing, he was overwhelmed by the new smells and beauty of the forest. The birds sang their song and the leaves rustled in the wind. All these sounds were creating an original song of the forest.

(Wow. It's so nice here.)

The boy started to feel some hope in his life. He was inspired by the forest's beauty and decided to live on. He started to search the herbs that thugs asked for.

(Maybe it wasn't the trap. What can possibly happen in such a beautiful place like this.)

He though and saw some berries. None taught him that there are poisonous things in the forest but he had luck this time and these berries were safe. He was eating them with a grin on his face. It was sweet and sour at the same time. He couldn't find these herbs anywhere. They said that it must be a flower with red petals and yellow leaves.

(Now. If I think about it more. This information is like nothing. Where I can find such a flower? I should have asked more questions...)

After thinking for a moment some of his negative thoughts came back but he dispersed them and walked further into the forest.

A moment passed and the surroundings became silent.

(What's happening? I cannot hear any birds.)

ROAR!!!! He stopped thinking about this and started running. It wasn't long before he heard noises of breaking branches behind him. He couldn't run fast in the forest and his wasn't fit person either.

He saw a big canine with a horn on its head. It had black fur and big bronze eyes. It was watching its prey with a curious look. It's looks said: "Run kid don't ruin my fun!".

Darius sped up with help of adrenaline that filled his entire body.

"Leave me!ALONE Beast!"

He shouted while running but it only fueled the desire of the beast.

ROAR!!! It roared and started to chase him.

It wasn't long when Darius fell on the ground because of his feet got tangled by some vine-like plant.

(It's the end. I would be eaten by the beast...I shouldn't go further into the forest.)

He was shaking and thinking about mistakes. Beast stopped and watched him like it was waiting for him to stand up and start running.

(I am its plaything...Fuck this I will run away from it.)

He stood up and started running but after few steps, he felt that ground under his feet collapsed and it wasn't long to make him slide with it into darkness. During the fall he lost his consciousness.

A few hours later...

His eyelids moved and he slowly started to regain consciousness.

(Am I dead? Arghh!)

His entire body was in pain. Boy's left leg was broken and he was covered in bruises.

(IS IT HELL? MAKE THE PAIN GO AWAY! WHY THIS WORLD MAKE ME SUFFER AGAIN AND AGAIN!)

It was the moment when he couldn't handle it anymore. It was too much. He was beaten by thugs many times but not to this extent. While he was struggling in pain his hand touched a circular object. It wasn't long before boy lost consciousness again.

He watched his surroundings he couldn't see much because there wasn't much light. He heard dripping of water somewhere close to him.

He couldn't walk so he started crawling. It was painful but the water was crucial for survival so he endured it. Luck was on his side because it was a small pond and he could reach it.
