20 Justin POV

I was passing through 'Queen Elizabeth park' where I saw Kevin. He seemed to be with one girl. But was waiting for another. Carlisia. He really is a big idiotic jerk...That's why I resent humans. They are worthless and stupid.

I kept on going.

"Let me go!"

I heard the voice of Carlisia. Some guys had surrounded her. They were worthless vampires. And were saying things like dinner and dessert. If they possessed true power there would be no such thing as 'dinner'. And yet they think they're the kings of this world. Although I don't care.

I just wanted to pass, but they were blocking my way.

Carlisia stood still. She saw me. And a look of hope filled her face. Does she think I'm gonna save her? No, I'm not.

"Hey! Who are you?" One of the guys asked me.

"Just get out of my way"

"Haa?! Who do you think you are huh?"

"Boss, he thinks he's very full of himself-"

That's it I'm getting annoyed

"Who's full of himself?"

"You dare talk back to us? Kim! Take care of this girl. I'm dealing with this...dude"

"'Dealing'? You don't even know how to fight. I won't even need to use my full speed on you"

"Really? Then we'll see"

'Kim' took hold of Carlisia.

'He' has no right to do that. He's just a lowly vampire.

I just need to kill them and get this over with. But it would be great to scare them first. I have nothing better to do anyway.

So I ran towards 'Kim' before he reached Carlisia. And I caught him before he even moved, I took hold of his arm and broke it. He screamed in pain and agony. That was the hand he thought he could touch anything with.

He's still screaming, better to put him out of his agony now. I made a dagger of my energy and stabbed him and the other was still coming towards me. They seemed scared. But were forced to do it I guess. Although the 'boss' was too scared to come forward.

They're annoying but I'll have to fight them. Carlisia seems to have closed her eyes and sometimes took a peek. I looked back at her once. But our eyes always seem to meet. She suddenly closes them after. It's amusing.

The two of the guys were coming towards me, I just twisted their necks next and they were done for.

"Still think I'm that lowly?"

Carlisia opened her eyes again but closed them after she knew I was about to kill him.

And so I did. I only need to injure a few vital parts of his body. And he's done.

Carlisia POV

I was saved!

Although my eyes are closed I'm just taking a little peek to see what's happening.

Oh my god! This is the fifth time our eyes met!

Why am I feeling so weird all of a sudden?! My chest is hurting seriously and my heart's beating fast.

...

I guess it's not strange. I was almost killed. I'm gonna close my eyes till this is over.....

I just heard a weird scream. Can I open my eyes now? I'm curious...

NO! I CAN'T!

But I'm curious...I guess it's alright now.....

But it's not! That guy looks so scary! I'm not good with blood!!

I immediately closed my eyes and turned around and opened them again. Wait....Is Justin leaving?

"H-hey! Where are you going?"

He just ignored me, and I ran in front of him.

He's very tall when you're near him....

I blocked him and raised my head. He seems to be reaaaallly confused right now...

"I was talking to you"

"So?"

"So? I don't care who you are it's still impolite not to answer"

"You've got some guts"

"So? I don't care"

"What do you want? You are blocking my path. Don't tell me, you wanna die too?"

"Not that. I trust you"

"How come?"

"I know you won't kill me" I smiled.

"What?"

"You spared me two times. And not only that. I feel like I can trust you, so therefore I'm not afraid of you"

"...." He's still surprised....

Although his expression seems cute.....

"So...Ummm...Thank you"

"I didn't do it to save you"

"If that wasn't the reason, you would've killed me too right?"

"Shut up. You don't even know me. How can you be so sure?"

"I just am...."

"Seriously. Why am I even arguing?"

"Anyways.....I have a request"

"What?"

"I want you to make a contract with me. Can you do that?"

"How do you even know about that?"

"Isabella and Alexandra"

"Those two? They would've known better to have taken your memories"

"Yeah but I didn't let them"

"How did they even listen?"

"I don't know....So anyways. I want a contract. And if you can, please fulfill my request"

"Why would I?"

"I don't know"

"What do you know about a contract?"

"That it creates a bond between two people forever and it can't be broken"

"There is one way"

"To break a contract?"

"You know the answer"

"...Death?"

"Exactly"

"Then that's great too right?"

"What?"

"Well, if you get annoyed by me you can just kill me."

"Just what kind of idiot are you? You would give up your life?"

"Hey! Don't call me that. Kevin's the idiot. Also, I don't even know why I said that, it just came out of my mouth. But I still think that it's a great way to get you out of your not-trusting-anyone sickness"

"How much did those two tell you about me?"

"They didn't say anything except I should stay away from you BUT I know someone as smart as you wouldn't be so stuck up in your past. You only don't want to trust anyone because no matter how loyal someone says they will be, their minds can still be changed. And that you don't want to give any more chances to someone that is capable of breaking your heart. Am I right?"
