3 Dream
I ran out of the gate the guard was just closing. I could hear the voices of Uncle and Aunt calling out to me.
"It's dangerous don't go!" I could only hear their voices faintly because I was running too away towards wherever my feet would take me, and cry there. After that, I'd like to go back home when I feel better.
I've been running a lot where am I?
I noticed I was standing right in front of an alley where I could see some big men in a circle.
'Is this some sort of Satanic ritual? because I can see a circle between them in which a guy just appeared' I thought.
Wait...
WHAT?!
The men stepped away from him and I could make out only some of his features. He was very tall and was blonde. It was so dark, almost brown.
"Hey what the- We asked for a dark demon and what do we get? Who are you, little boy?" One of the men started complaining.....
'Oh, he's on a suicide mission...Wait, where am I standing?'
I was standing in front of the alley so I hid behind the wall. I could have been seen!
"Unfortunately, the demon you summoned is dead" The guy spoke, as if he was annoyed, and was smiling....at me...
I'm gonna die...
...
But at least let me witness this thing. Whatever's going on here.
"What did you say?" Another man asked.
"I killed him, it's your turn now"
He looked at one of the men and his eyes shone red, full of anger. That's what I could see in his eyes at least.
And as soon as he laid his eyes at the man that spoke first, the man froze and became pale, very very pale. As if his life was being drained, and lost balance, as soon as he fell down, he became nothing more than just a pile of ashes.
The other men looked at the pile of sand that used to be a living person just a few moments before.
The other men shook their heads and started trembling.
"Just this would be enough to scare you guys?"
"W-what is this?" One of the men started crying, "All of this. It-it's impossible"
"It did happen right in front of you. Denial is not going to help you" The guy smiled, it was a smile full of amusement and annoyance.
And he came towards the man, while I closed my eyes.
The moment I opened my eyes, he was right in front of me.
I sneaked a glance behind him and saw that there was just a pile of ashes instead of the men. And the circle in between them was made out of blood. I could clearly make it out now, they must have sacrificed someone else's blood to summon him here and ended up dying too.
"Humans really are too pathetic"
I looked at the guy in front of me, he was looking at me with pity in his eyes
"You mean-" But I was interrupted because he touched my forehead and I fainted.
I woke up in my room which was in the mansion. And I saw Arabel sitting right next to the bed.
"Arabel..." I sat up straight.
"Carlisia. You're awake"
"What happened?"
"You fainted in front of someone's house, they were away on a vacation. We scattered to find you. The one who found you was Leo, and he brought you home while you were still unconscious. "
"You mean that was a dream?"
"What?"
"Where are mom and dad? When will they come back? I need to tell them I had a crazy dream"
"...Didn't you listen to what I said? You fell and fainted in front of someone's house. Why else would you be there if you didn't run out of the house when you are sad because of...." She trailed off.
"My parent's death....." I finished her sentence.
"...." Arabel looked incredibly sad as if she was about to cry. That only happened sometimes.
"No, but....." If that was a dream then my parents...They should have been alive...
'But when you think about it, I fainted outside of this mansion, not inside, I'm not even sick or weak. So what else would be the reason? I must have hit my head'
I ran my hand through my head and felt some bandages when I pressed there, I felt a great deal of pain.
"Oww!"
"Be careful Carlisia! You're hurt"
"I don't care, I just need some time, alone" I pulled the sheets above my head and fell asleep, before that, I heard the door open and then close. They already have so much to worry about, I just gave them more trouble didn't I?
'I feel so useless'
