"You guys came early" Alex said, looking a bit concerned.

Arabel folded her arms and said,"Isn't it great they came early?"

"Oh yeah it is"

Alex is very nice, since I was young, I had always looked up to him. He and Arabel are two years older than me and we met quite often so we were as close as best friends, including Leonard, I called him 'Leo' to tease him. But when I went too far with it, he would release a scary dark aura or like in an anime!

"Alex where's Leo?" I asked.

"Oh he-"

"You just came here and the first thing you do is make fun of my name" He suddenly jumped out from behind.

"Wah!! Leo! You scared me!"

"*Sigh*"

"Oh right sorry. But I seriously like the name 'Leo' I'm not making fun of your name dummy"

"Yes but I don't like it"

".....Fine. Come on let's go join the others. Mike must be lonely"

They all took off their aprons and gloves and put them on one side and we started walking through the doors and rooms.

After some time, we reached a big room, where our families were. It would measure about 30 meters in length and width, and was about 10 meters in height. There were many sofas on one side arranged very elegantly and a big table in the middle. There was also a very big smart TV which measured about 10 inches of dad's company on the opposite side. The walls were purple and white. Purple just happens to be my favorite color.

"Oh hey dad!" I greeted him quite loudly from the door. So it startled uncle and aunt somewhat. But mom and dad were already used to it.

"Ah Carlisia! Good thing you came. We are leaving for out business trip"

"....." My happiness was taken away.....

Dad and mom got up and started coming toward us and we all were soon outside. I waited patiently for a chance to scold mom.

"Mom! You forgot to tell me again!"

"Oh I'm so sorry dear you disappeared as soon as we got here"

"You could've told me before"

"Alright now don't be mad. I'm sorry"

"Ok I'll scold you later....Bye then!

'I love you!' Was what I wanted to say but was interrupted by Arabel.

"Carlisia come on let's go watch a movie. You guys are staying here right?"

"Hm? Oh yeah..."

'But I think I should really say it one last time or else.....'

Come on let's go!" Arabel started pulling me inside.

Everyone else also came along. We went to the room where mom and dad were earlier. And Alex suggested some movies. We watched half of them for about...I don't know how long.....

"I think we should go to sleep now" Mike said stretching himself.

"Yeah" We all agreed.

"Alex you take Mike to his room and I'll take Carlisia to hers"

Arabel grabbed my hand and led me through the corridors and rooms and a big hall till we stopped in front of a door on the 5th floor.

"Here's your room!"

"Also, our rooms are far apart because sometimes we make a lot of noises"

"What about if we need help?"

"Then there is a button right next to your door. Yours is purple"

"Right thanks.....I'll be going now. Good night"

I took a deep breath and opened the door.

The room was 15 meters in length. There was a double bed on the left side the wall behind it was dark purple and the other walls had a very confusing pattern in colors of purple and white. There was a smart TV on one side of the room and next to it was a study table, made of wood. And my closet was also quite big with many clothes of different types. There was a floor to ceiling window which led to a balcony opposite to the door.

And so I spent the next 15 minutes inspecting my room and decided to go get something to eat. Because I was hungry. But as I was trying to find a kitchen, I heard a sob coming from a room. It was aunt Fiona's. I went closer to the room and opened the door. I could see Aunt Fiona crying a lot and Uncle Jeff who was surprised to see me enter so suddenly. He looked very confused, as if he didn't know what to do now.

"Ummm...Uncle Jeff what happened?" He looked away.

Aunt looked like she was trying to gather up the courage to speak and she finally did after a few minutes."*Sob* Y-your *Sob* Parents t-their plane *Sob* was in the air *Sob* a-and the right engine *Sob* I-it stopped w-working and it crashed"

"What?"

I guess my mind stopped functioning properly because what I heard next was nothing more than muffled voices and words.

Right now, all I could get out of my mouth was,"Y-you mean they.....Died?"

They both nodded. I looked at them with my face full of hope, that it was false news or they found some way to get out or it was some other plane but Aunt Fiona kept on crying and uncle Jeff tried to hold his tears.

"Please....."

Tell me this is not true. My parents will be fine. They will come back after a few days and we will live with uncle and aunt. This is not happening.

I couldn't control the tears that were flowing out of my eyes nonstop. I just stood there, frozen. Waiting for them to tell me it was a lie. But they didn't. Suddenly I head the urge to run out of there, I did. I ran out of the mansion and passed the big gate the guard was just closing
