1 Moving to Vancouver

My name is Carlisia, I'm fifteen years old, and the daughter of Levi Evans, the CEO of IDEAL. And I am heading home after a great day of school. Just as I was about to enter our house, I heard my mom's voice.

"Oh! Carlisia! Your home. Come on we have to talk for a bit"

I saw my little brother Mike sitting on a sofa and looking just as confused as me. He has pure black hair and beautiful blue eyes, while me, I have light brown hair and light brown eyes, but most people call me beautiful. I'm honored.

Anyways, I feel like something good is going to happen. I sat on the sofa too and listened to what dad was going to say.

"Okay Carlisia, and Michael, we are thinking about moving to Vancouver and settling there"

"Really? With Uncle and the others?" Mike asked.

"Yes"

"....." I stayed quiet.

"Yes and since there is such a nice environment there, it's going to be fun," Mom said.

"Ok then that's fine by me," Mike said.

"I am sort of excited but ummm...what about the house? And the school? Or going in Airplanes? I hate those" I started.

"I know the Carlisia but, you have to bear it, there is no way else we can go there" Mom reasoned.

"Yes and it will end well for you too, your best friend-cousins also live there" Dad joined mom.

"Yes. And we will also be going on a business trip overseas for a while" Mom said.

"Oh really?" Mike looked amused.

Of course, he would, mom and dad were leaving home for a business trip...Like they usually did...leaving us alone...To take care of ourselves...With no comp-ALRIGHT! you get the idea!

Dad is the CEO of IDEAL which is the most famous and best electronics company you'll find in the world today, and mom also works with him. So they are billionaires. But we are a humble family, and they donate so much to charity. So nice!

"Ok soooooo I guess I'll go change now," I said and stood up, and then headed for my room.

After changing, I took out my laptop and started a research on Vancouver. There were constant disappearances taking place and no one knew who did that. And some people were complaining that the government was hiding something.

After that, I moved to Manga and then anime and then the books father bought me, and the movies and then went to dinner. After that, I watched a movie with my family which was quite fun. We were constantly talking till 10:00 after which I went to my room and studied and went to sleep. Our days were always very nice, my family also liked spending time together.

But as it turns out, we were leaving for Vancouver the next day and I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT!

"Mom! You forgot to tell me again!!"

"Michael! I told you to tell your older sister!" Mom glared at him, trying to hide her amusement probably from my reaction.

Let me explain, I was sleeping when Mike barged in my room and told me to get ready for leaving and I just ran out of my room just like that...

"Come on mom you should see her reaction it's amazing!" Mike laughed.

"Mike just as much as I like that expression of hers you still can't just do that" Mom let out a weird smile.

"What? Ok, you know what? You guys can go without me. I'm just a source of entertainment for you guys"

"...." We all kept quiet.

"Hey Rachel is my breakfast ready I-" Dad stopped as he entered the kitchen and saw us three glaring at each other.

"*Sigh* What did you do this time?"

"Used me as a source of entertainment" I complained.

"You should really stop this"

"Yeah! That's right! And by the way, dad your breakfast is burning. I'm going to the washroom!" I ran out of there and heard the complaints of mom, she was getting sort of angry about me not telling her anything.

After everything I had to do, I packed my things, all of them since we were permanently moving, I also had a picture of my family when we were in the beach 6 years ago, when I was 9 years old. My 16th birthday is coming up.

After that I went to get my breakfast and then entered the car outside of our house, everyone was waiting for me there and I started complaining about airplanes along the way.....

Dad has a private and big plane and we were going to Vancouver in that but I still didn't like it...

"Mom! I think I'm starting to feel weird already" I complained.

"Don't worry, you never vomited once before so you should be fine" Mom 'reassured' me.

We got on the plane and I went to my seat, Mike was sitting next to me.

After the plane started, I read a manga, watched anime, listened to songs, read books watched movies and some other things. For example, improving my vocabulary in some other languages. But I have to say, AIRPLANES ARE STILL VERY ANNOYING FOR ME!

But hey at least I survived!

After reaching Vancouver, there was a car waiting for us and some people staring at us throughout the airport. Mom said they were looking at us because dad and I were too beautiful.

I was like, "Yeah mom, I believe you"

But she was like, "No really"

Right, I'm starting to doubt my judgment on myself.

Anyways, I took a look at every place we were passing, soon we reached a mansion, which was Uncle Jeff's. He is the CEO of IDEA which was given to him by Aunt Fiona who was the original inheritor, she told me she didn't want to handle such a big company.

Dad, however, started from scratch, along with mom. They both took almost no help from anyone, their teamwork is just too good!

"Fiona!" Mom cried and went to hug aunt. And then greeted Uncle Jeff.

"Uncle Jeff where are the others?" I asked him.

"Oh they are inside, cleaning everything for you"

"Thanks" I am mysophobic and hate dirty places so it was probably to reassure me...

I went inside without a clue as to where to go and found Arabel, my cousin in a room. She was cleaning up.

"Arabel!" I ran toward her but she dodged me and I fell down.

"Ow! Why did you do that?"

"Look" She pointed at herself. She was cleaning so she's probably dirty...

Arabel has reddish yellow eyes, fair skin, and long straight red hair and is very nice. Her twin brother, Alex is 2 minutes older and has the same features, and they both are very tall.

"Hey, Carlisia!" Alex suddenly greeted me from behind.

"Oh hi, Alex!"
