10 Fine!

Knock Knock, I heard someone knocking at my door.

"Who is it?" I called out

" It's Papa can we talk?"

"Yes.." Its been two weeks since the incident and I haven't left my room and I haven't seen any of my family members.

Father came into the room and sat down next to me on my bed. " Son are you not feeling well?"

I couldn't see and I didn't want to tell him, he had so much stuff on his plate already. I reached out my hands to him, I felt tears run down my cheek. It was so lonely being in the room alone since my inner demons had constantly attacked me. My mother was still undercare so she couldn't be home. Victor just disappeared and didn't tell me anything.

" Wha.. whats? Wrong?" My father said quite scared. "I've just been so lonely papa!"

I felt Father pat my head, " I'm sorry Zeus, but because of the forbidden spell case my hands are tied and I can't be home often."

" What about Victor? I haven't seen him either.." My cheeks were all wet from crying, " Papa I'm scared... I don't wanna be left alone."

My father hugged me, " I'm sorry... your brother is also busy... just one more week...hang on for just one more week."

Calm down...." Can I ask for a favor then?"

"Yes" I heard him immediately say.

" I want your body guard... can I?"

"...yes...which one?"

" The one you call wolf"

" no... you can have someone else...he's too dangerous."

" but you left me alone with him before"

" that was then but this time its different... I don't want you talking to someone so dangerous and powerful ok? Forget about him."

Fine we will play this game, " Ok Papa I won't ever ever talk to someone so dangerous or powerful"

" Thank you for understanding me Zeus, now who else do you want?"

I won't ever talk to anyone thats dangerous or powerful.

" Kelly!" I called for my personal maid, " I'm hungry" I got up and held Kelly's hand as she led me to the kitchen.

" Zeus?" I heard my father say

" Kelly what's for dinner?" I ignored Father, its best I forget about him.

" Hamburger young master," Kelly said, " with mashed potatoes."

" Kelly can you continue feeding me like you've been doing for the last two weeks."

" Yes, Young Master."

For the past two weeks since I've lost my sight, my maid Kelly has been spoon feeding me.

"...zeus..." I heard father say.

" How's your mother Kelly?"

" She's been doing very great thanks to the recipe Young Master gave me, she asked me to tell you to visit her when ever Young Master is free."

" Great! Lets go visit her tomorrow perhaps?"

" Yes mother would be delighted!"

"...zeus... don't ignore Papa... my feelings are hurt.."

" OH! what should we bring!"

" oh Young Master you don't have too! You've given us enough already!"

" Oh no! That can't be...hmmm let me make fruit cake"

" What's a Cake?" Kelly asked?

The people in this world don't make sweets, they usually just eat honey, which breaks my heart. They don't understand the joy of eating so many kinds sweets. I've hidden my cooking skills for so long already... I'm ready to fed people joy.

" You'll see tomorrow, now lets go back to my room. I'm getting a little bit tired."

Kelly lead me back to my room.

"...zeus.... talk to papa!"

Bang! I shut the door on him... now that I'm alone I should go to sleep before my demons catch me.

I was trying to sleep but I kept hearing knocking on my door every few seconds.

"Zeus! Don't ignore papa, forgive me... tell me what I did wrong!"

I got up and blindly searched for the pen and paper and wrote down, 'knock or call my name one more time then you really won't see me again'

I slowly slid the paper under the door and tried to go to sleep.

Next Morning Kelly came to wake me up, " Young Master are you really not going to tell Master what's going on?

Kelly is currently the only one that knows I'm blind, " yes, it quite unnecessary to tell him anything. Now since I can't see you will be the one to cook the cake ok?"

" Yes, young master."

Kelly and I stayed in the kitchen cooking the fruit cake for two hours. Even though I can't see I know Kelly did a great job, she always been a quick learner and a good listener.

" ignore him.. now lets go visit your mother Kelly."

"Yes, Young Master."

After half a day, we came back home from Kelly's mom place. Kelly was also a noble, but one of a lower rank. She came to me when I was really young and took very good care of me.

" Zeus! Forgive Papa! I really can't give you what you want"

I closed my eyes and sat down on the chair, " Kelly give me some tea"

" Young Master... but Master might really start crying." Kelly said to me.

" Who's that? I don't really know who you are talking about."

" Master? The powerful Duke of our nation?"

" Yeah, I don't know who you are talking about, even if I ever meet him I can never ever talk to someone as dangerous sounding as him."

" Fine! you can have what you want! Just don't ignore Papa again or else I will actually cry." My Father finally said.

" Really?" I asked

" Yes..you can have him."

" Papa you are the best! Now if you want a hug you are going to have to come to me, I can't see anymore."

That was why I didn't want to tell him, " Papa remember when you said you wouldn't tell anyone?"
