"Ugh..." I stifled a massive yawn as I stepped into, and the first thing I noticed was the emptiness.

"En? Is anyone there?" I called out.

A moment later Petunia stepped through the storage room door from behind the counter.

"Isn't it suppose to be Hana and Kuru's shift right now?"

"Eeee-" Petunia stumbled on her words for a moment. "2 pillars of light came down from the sky yesterday, and it teloported them back to the world they belong...supposedly..."

"Supposedly?"

"Aaa-Sorry! That's all I know!"

"I see. It's fine."

"We have a new member here today to fill in though. Why don't you introduce yourself?" Petunia said and turned to the storage room back door.

For a moment, I didn't quite get what was going on, but a brief moment later, the storage room door was open once again, and through it stepped forward a new face:

She looked like the exact identical twin as Iu, except one eye was covered with a white eye patch, and the other was amber gold. She wore a white Lolita dress, instead of red. And her shy, timid demeanour was the complete opposite of what Iu is.

"Um..." she gripped the brim of her dress with both hands. "I am Yabe Hazuki. Hazuki is fine." She said with a silk like gentle voice.

"I-I am also looking forward to working with you in the future!" She finished the rest of her sentence with a quick bow.

Man, them Japanese are way too polite...

"Dawww. Don't be shy, Gid is a kind man." Petunia commented.

Thank you Petunia...

"Though he likes lolis..." Petunia's voice trailed off.

Nvm...

"Ahem." I cleared my throat. "Does Iu know about this?"

"Aaaa-The shop owner is currently on vacation, so I will be temporarily in charge of the store." Petunia replied.

"Oh, ok."

"My shift is almost over now. I need you to look after the shop for me for the rest of the night."

"Understood." I replied.

"Hazuki is new to all the stuff, so try to teach her as much as you can when there is no customers around alright?"

"Alright." I said.

"Good luck Gid! I will be leaving now. Aaa- good night!"

"It's only evening! But sure, good night." I said.

And just like that Petunia was gone.

It was now just the two of us.
