117 Important Announcement 1

Tereza was dressing up for the upcoming family meeting. Her father told her, there would be an important announcement from his grandfather. He urged her to bring Ringo and her husband as well.

Because it was an important gathering she must not let her teal dress untidy in front of the family. After she finished, she dressed up her son with a handsome navy blue outfit while Han wore a matching color as Ringo as well.

The family drove outside the city heading to her grandfather's place. They were on a journey for about two hours until they finally saw a wooden plate 'Ginga' in front of the gate.

Ringo was asleep in Tereza embrace, he was tired of waiting inside the car. Tereza brought him and strode her legs inside the place. Han followed beside her.

The place was wide and rice fields could be seen surrounding the main house. 'Sarah's grandfather like to farm? He just like my past father.' She thought inward.

They followed the stone path as they reached the place, Ranbo Ginga and Lucy Ginga were there waiting for them to arrive.

Lucy hurriedly grabbed Ringo from Tereza embrace and pecked his plump cheeks. His eyelashes were fluttering from the sudden movement. He opened his eyes while rubbing his sleepy eyes. "Ringo-chan, here, let's play with grandma!" Ringo ignored the exciting woman and continued his beauty nap in her embrace.

Meanwhile, Tereza shook her head and just let her son be. Han tugged her slightly and pulled her inside the house. They walked through the corridor to another long corridor. Until they reached the bamboo slide door which felt slightly intimidating.

Ranbo Ginga gulped and said with cautious, "Excuse me, Father. We are here."

The family went inside the room which covered with bamboo smells and green scenery. Short tables were placed on each side except one in the center. They saw a white-haired old man, wearing his gray hakama, sitting in the middle of the room.

Tereza was dumbstruck, how could this man be eighty years old? His face almost like in early forthy!

Tereza looked at Ranbo Ginga face and then back and forth comparing to Sarah's grandfather, Ranga Ginga. 'Now, I know where the genes came from.' She thought.

Ranga Ginga was writing something on the paper with his brush and black ink. He heard the sudden noises and lifted his head slowly. His eyes were sharp as he squinted to their direction. Then he ignored them and come back focusing his unfinished calligraphy.

They could only take their seat and felt awkward silence. The only thing they could hear was the sound of their breathing and Ranga Ginga's moving brush.

Track! He placed the brush on the side. He grabbed his frame eyeglasses and looked at them one by one.

Especially at Han and Tereza, profoundly. It was the same for Ringo who was still dozing as well.

He realized something was missing. "Where is Kezia?" He asked with his flat tone.

Ranbo answered him, "She will be here at any moment."

"She dares to be late. You, as her father should discipline her more! What kind of father are you, huh, Ranbo!" He hit his table until it trembled. Ranbo cursed inwardly. His father became frightening as he getting older. He knew his father was strict, that was why he never pricked his irritated box.

"Excuse me, grandfather! I'm sorry I'm late." Kezia bowed to her grandfather slightly while glancing sharply to Tereza.

When Tereza saw that she couldn't help to lift one of her eyebrows. 'What's with her?' She thought.

"Kezia, I will not tolerate you again in the future. If you still want to face me again, don't be late! Take a seat and bring inside that man who is hiding behind you." He said with a stern voice as he poured the green tea for himself. He had no tolerance for the word 'late'.

Kezia nodded, she pulled a certain man hiding behind her and walked into the room. Tereza rubbed her eyes as if there was something weird with this. Ranbo was almost blurted his tea and Lucy blinked her eyes a few times, she muttered, "Oh my". Han furrowed his eyebrows and stared sharply to the man.

That man was actually Daniel.

Kezia took a seat across them. They sat on the tatami pillow and adjusted their sitting. Tereza could see clearly the couple. She was flabbergasted. What should she say in this situation?

Daniel from the start was hesitating to come in. He didn't know that Sarah and Han would be coming as well. Kezia told him she will meet her grandfather today, so under her request, he followed her. He didn't expect they will meet again without him being ready.

He glanced at the baby who was sleeping in Sarah's mother embrace. His face looks like Sarah. He didn't know why he felt heartache when he saw the baby.

He took a quick breath and lifted his head, acting normal. Later did he know because of this, he would have a nightmare in the night.

Han silently glared at Daniel. He radiated his dark aura while showing his usual scary expression, but later he diverted his glared due to Tereza's pinched. She warned him while shaking her head. Han regained his composure and held her hand under the short table.

Daniel looked at their intertwined hand from his view and unconsciously clenched his palm into a fist. 'Why am I doing here?' He thought.

Suddenly Ranga Ginga voice reached their ears, shattering each own thoughts. "Alright, before I started the main point, I will have you know this is not a simple family gathering. Except for Ranbo, I will evaluate your merits and past achievements so I can decide who will be the next heir of Ginga Corp and also the share you'll receive."

He looked at each of their reaction. The most dumbfounded one was Tereza. She was speechless, she didn't prepare for this huge news.

Ranbo Ginga's eyes were shocked. He intercepted, "Excuse me, father. What do you mean 'decide'? Weren't you agree from the start that Sarah will be the next heir?!"

'I'm what now?' Tereza agape her mouth.

He answered calmly, "It was."

"Then why? You said one of the conditions is to have a married status first. But, Kezia is not married yet. So, she can't be the candidate." Ranbo Ginga stated with an impatient tone.

Kezia glanced at her father. She felt hatred and hurt. She scoffed from his words, "I'm sorry to disappoint you, Father. But I told grandfather already about my marriage. So, I'm legitimate to be the next candidate."

Ranbo looked at Tereza mocking face and then turned his eyes to Daniel. "Kezia, you don't mean with him? Daniel? Your sister ex-fiancee? Are you playing tricks on us? I know you are feigning together with him just to make your grandfather believe you! Kezia where is your shame?!"

Kezia shouted back, "Shut up! I don't need your preach!" She pulled the marriage certificate in her bag and slammed it on the table. "I'm indeed married, you can see for yourself! And it's up to me to choose whoever I want to marry! He's single now, so what? It's not like he'll come back to Sarah anymore!"

"Kezia! How dare you!"

Brack!

Ranga hit the table loudly. They shut their mouth and the surround fell dead silence once again. His sharp eyes staring at his son and granddaughter. "Stop your fighting and don't make a mess in this room. If I heard both of you yapping once again. I'll disband Ginga Corp and let our relative to manage it. Is this what you two want?" He threatened them.

"And Ranbo, whether he was the former fiancee or the latter husband. He was now a part of our family. Yes, she was wrong for not telling you. But, it was her decision and not you. Weren't I do the same to you too?" Ranbo fell silent. He knew his father was talking about his marriage life.

Ranga Ginga continued, "Kezia, I ask you to hold a proper wedding soon in the future. Is that clear?"

Kezia puffed her chest and tried to calm down her beating heart. Inside she cursed his father name a few times while gritting her teeth. She felt hot like an erupting volcano. It was the same as Ranbo Ginga.

She answered short, "Yes, grandfather."

Tereza looked at them with a complicated feeling. She didn't know why she felt there was something going on between the father and daughter relationship.

Tereza knew that Kezia was Sarah's half-sister, how she heard Kezia's mother divorced from Ranbo Ginga. Unfortunately, she didn't know the reason why it happened.

A husky voice broke her thought, "Focus." Han whispered. She glanced at him and nodded.
