109 Before The Accident 4

Los Angeles, USA.

In his office, a certain man was looking at his screen computer. His expression was serious and he couldn't help to bite his nail.

It was already the fourth time, someone sent him a picture of his fiancee together with some unknown man. He saw Sarah's smile in the pictures while holding hand with the man, laughing together, there was also the picture when the two of them were hugging.

The most crucial one was when he focused on the last picture. Sarah and the unknown man went to her apartment. He didn't know if they went in or not, but his doubt was growing stronger.

Lately, his company became hustling with a workload. His father was appointing him to be the vice director. He expected that his son would build more experiences so in the future he could lead the company.

He thought that their relationship was maturing as they officially engaged. They were also in their early twenties and weren't a simple mind teenager. Both were grown up adult. So, he had another thought they will have a mutual understanding together. He knew she wouldn't mind it at all of his behaviors.

Therefore, his promise which he made in high school to Sarah, was postponed. He didn't have time to meet her or even call her due to busy schedules. He called or replied to her messages when he thought necessary. He didn't know her unnoticed anxious heart.

He knew she began working as a model recently, he didn't protest and support her if that what she really wanted to do. Of course, he was worried for her beauty was being spread wide to the whole nation. He was afraid she would become someone else he didn't know when she stepped on the stage of being famous.

So, he diverted the negative thoughts and kept trusting their love, yet suddenly someone sent him a file picture of Sarah's life in Tokyo. His heart was wavering, he didn't know if there was something wrong with him. He felt angry and irritated.

'Is this jealousy?' He thought.

In Sarah's life, a male friend who closed to her was only him and a few of her old classmates. She didn't close to those boys. She just knew and treated them as a normal classmate. The boys who were hovering to her was the boys who tried to court her. It never succeeded because of his protection and her bluntly rejection.

Back in high school, they both were a powerful couple where everyone subconsciously admiring.

Because they had been dating since middle school, people were inspired by their long last relationship. They hoped, their love relationship would be the same as them as well.

Daniel reminisced their sweet time when they were together.

Her genuine male friend one and only was Daniel who was a boyfriend and a husband-to-be as well.

Thus, this was the first time he saw her looking with her usual spoiled and cute expression to another man beside him.

{Don't lie to me!} His tone was high, he didn't know why he yelled at her like this. He never did this to her before. Why now?

Sarah was startled from his shouted, she looked at the phone call name to confirm it. It was really him. 'He sounds different today.' She thought. "Daniel, what do you mean? I'm really in a cafe with Rioko." She asked him with a confused tone.

{I know you had been lying to me lately, Sarah. You are together with that man, isn't it? Didn't you remember you are my fiancee? How can you stab my back like this, Sarah?}

She rolled her eyes, "Oh, wow, now you remember you have a fiancee. Daniel, I don't really know what's going on to you today, what 'man' are you talking about? Are you accusing me of cheating on you?" She wondered.

He snorted and said, {Sarah, don't try to make excuse.}

"What excuse? I'm not trying to make an excuse. You are the one who is unreasonable! I didn't do anything wrong, Daniel! Is this our first conversation after we didn't call each other lately?" She scoffed from his words.

He ignored her remarks and said, {Sarah, I have proofs. Once, I came to visit you without notice. But you weren't in your apartment. I accidentally saw you were together with him. Did you remember when I called and asked where were you at that time? You said you were on the train, yet I noticed the both of you were in the cafe. Do you think I'm stupid, Sarah? Wasn't it because I neglect you lately so you go out with him?}

'He came? When? Did he saw me with a man? Did he mean Ryo Kitamura?' She thought as she realized the 'man' he spoke out.

Today she was really tired of her works and campus activities. She creased her eyebrows and massaged her temple. Rioko looked at her as she was observing Sarah's expression.

Sarah replied to his ridiculous statement. "Daniel, I don't know what you're talking about. Yes, I did feel lonely and hurt. I wait for you all this time and you didn't care to meet me. How many times already, Daniel? How many times you call me back and visit me? You broke your promise! Now what? Just because I went out with some guy beside you, now you're mad? What happened? You never care when a guy approached me back then. Why now?"

{Sarah, we are engaged.}

"Yes, we are engaged. That's why I'll never cheat on you. Don't you trust me? Why do you act like this to me? I don't want to explain further on this phone, but I want to tell you it was just a misunderstanding. Let's meet up and discuss this later!"

{Sarah! Don't you dare hang up to me-}

Skyfly Corp, Osaka, Japan.

"Gahh!!" Daniel threw his phone on the ground. Crack! It broke to pieces. He felt irritated. The pictures he got was becoming more brazen and sophisticated. From the side of a photo as if both of them were kissing sweetly.

In truth, Ryo was only helping her to brush one of her fallen eyelashes. Sadly, Ryo didn't know about this fact and he was to subdue to his irritated heart.

When he tried to call his secretary to find information about the man. A sudden call reached another phone on the table. It was Kezia. He creased his brows and answered it with an impatient tone.

He heard her voice saying straightforwardly, {Do you want me to tell you about Sarah and that man?}

Daniel opened his eyes wide when he heard her statement and realized it quickly. 'So, the one who sent him those files was her!"

"You were the one who sent me the pictures. What do you want to achieve? What do you want from me?" He asked her

She whistled and chuckling, {You are quick-witted, aren't you? I just want to report about my sister to my brother-in-law. Is there something wrong with it? I care about her and you. I care about your relationship. So, how is it? Do you think you can handle this betrayal?}

He fell silent. He didn't want to believe it, but he had proofs. The only left thing he needed to confirm and ask Sarah about her affair clearly from her own mouth.

"I will ask her myself and you don't need to care about our relationship. You are her sister, why did you do this to her and keep meddling us?"

She ignored his question and asked him, {Do you want to know about her man or not?}

"Of course I do and I-" will search that information myself. I don't need your help.

Before he could finish his complete sentence Kezia intercepted him and said, {Okay you said 'yes' and I will tell you, but in return, I will hold the debt for you. In the future, you must listen to whatever I say.}

"Hey wait I didn't agree with this."

She ignored him and continue her explanation, {He's her current boyfriend. As she had been lonely because 'you' forgot about her. She found herself a new man. She dated him for months now and I will send you the place and pictures where they had been together and you can compare the time and place where you guys went, back in old days. She's a cheating woman, I tell you.}

"I didn't believe it!"

{You saw it yourself, didn't you? How about this I will tell you a secret about her and that man. Daniel, let us meet in Bar Z later on Sunday.}

"Wait!"

He dialed her phone number again, but it got rejected by her. "What is she doing?" The phone line was cut off from her side as he kicked his chair.

"Do you want to go somewhere tonight?" Daniel's mother asked her son curiously. He glanced at her and put his shoes hurriedly.

He looked down slightly and lied to her, "Yes, mother. I'm going to the villa with Sarah. I'll be back tomorrow."

When Daniel's mother heard that. She nodded at him, understanding the newly engaged couple who needed a sweet time together.

She said, "Please be careful and come again to the house tomorrow. We will eat dinner together with your father. It has been awhile, right? You just got back from abroad and Sarah finally visited her home. Say hi from me to her."

Daniel heard her request and nodded. He left the room while thinking about Sarah.

His heart was in an ironic state. One to believe himself that Sarah was innocent and one to not trust Kezia's words which kept ringing inside his ears!

'Which one is the truth?' He thought.

Sunday, Osaka, Bar Z, first floor.

Sarah was drinking like a thirsty dog. She had another fight with Daniel. One because of Ryo and then about their collapsed relationship. She felt hurtful inside. He never shouted at her before.

The only time he did, it was time when he was really angry and encourage something. While according to their story, it was the former.

Even though he was quite naughty, he was a nice and gentleman.

Rioko went home two hours ago. Sarah sent her to her old house which was before she moved in Sarah's neighborhood. As she said goodbye to her, she thought about Daniel.

She realized her mood was in bad condition so she called Ryo to chat with him. She didn't know if this would be treated as if she was cheating on her fiancee.

She didn't care, she just wanted someone beside her right now. Did this because of the alcohol effect? Her mind was muddlehead.

Coincidently, Ryo was already in the bar. He went to Osaka, following Sarah for fulfilling his job which Kezia intrusted to him.

'This weird girl. She came by herself before I make an excuse to meet her tonight. Well, it's my lucky day then.' He thought while smirking.

Sarah acted crazily and crying like a kid. "Daniel! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I don't mean it! Ahh! I just miss you! Don't mad at me!"

She sobbed and circled Ryo's waist as she began to wail more. Ryo looked at her cute figure and stroked her back.

They were hugging each other tightly and Ryo couldn't help to wipe her tear away. He looked at Sarah's light brown eyes.

He didn't know why, but he felt weird. Was it perhaps due to the lamp? It made her eyes twinkling from the light. He noticed she was more beautiful at this moment.

He had urged to kiss her this time. She became a beautiful lady. As he drew his face closer to touch her lips. A sudden punched was coming on his way!

Brack!

Ryo fell down to the ground and he looked at the man who was gritting his teeth. He pulled Sarah's arm and strode outside the place without looking back. He passed Kezia's figure who tried to halt his footsteps. "Daniel! Why are you still defending her? Didn't you see she kissed another man beside you?!"

As he held his painful head, he shouted at her. "F*ck off! I don't want to hear your nonsense again! I don't care who is he and I don't know if he related to you or not. All of this sounds fishy from the start! Why did you send me those pictures? Why did you ask me to meet in this place? It was like we had been playing from your script!"

He pushed her away and left her speechless inside. 'Did my plan failed? He should be mad at Sarah right now? So why did he? Damn it! I didn't even do my next plan! Yet he already left me when he saw Sarah?!' Kezia thought scornfully.

Ryo stood up and went to her side. He said, "So, is this mission accomplished or not? He seems angry with his fiancee. But it doesn't mean they will break up. You need to create a smarter method than pitifully playing with this. She was stupid and her boyfriend too. But it doesn't mean they will not think and figure it out something amiss. Do you want me to teach you to kill someone? Ah right, will you give my money now?"

She clenched her fist angrily. "Shut up!!!"

At the same time inside Daniel's car. Daniel was planning to bring her to their usual Villa. They passed the long tunnel and reached the mountain high cliff area.

Tereza was shouting and crying, trying to beg his forgiveness. She explained everything, she didn't mean her words at that time.

But Daniel didn't listen to her. He was still angry and his head was painful.

The thought when she kissed another man in front of him! It made his rage boiled.

He didn't like to hear her excuse, it was a simple reason.

Another fact was due to the alcohol he tasted a while ago. He just took a sip, but the effect made him greatly ache.

'Was it because of that drink I drank?' He snorted, 'It was probably Kezia! Did she put something inside?!'

Damn! He cursed inwardly as he kept driving his car. His head was messy, and he felt his face turned to hot. His heart was pounding fastly.

His ears were ringing as if a bell was covering his hearing. He didn't like to hear her nonstop apologizing as. Right now, He was not in the good mood to forgive people while his headache was a plus.

He didn't know what he yelled at her. His head was muddled. His eyes became blurry as he didn't see animal came to across the street.
