105 Once Upon A Time 3

Daniel clapped his hands and leaned closer to her. He kissed her forehead and told her, "Great song."

She glanced at him irritatedly, "How about my voice sound?"

He made a thumbs up with his two hands. She giggled and sang another song. Daniel looked at her figure who was matured quickly. Four years ago, she was still a little and plump girl. But now, she grew up beautiful. She was still in middle school. What would happen if she fully matured?

Right now, she didn't realize how popular she was as well. A lot of boys confessed their love to her although they knew she was in a relationship with him. It made him worried.

Trying to find a topic, he asked. "Hey, what happened to your sister?"

"Why do you suddenly asking her?" She glared at him suspiciously. He covered her eyes and sealed her lips with his.

"Well, I just want to know. She wasn't around the house anymore. I asked you before, but you didn't answer my question. Can you tell me now?"

"What? What will you do after you know what happens to her? Search her and break up with me? I always knew that you unconsciously like her, right?" She said with her dark face. Her sensitivity higher this time. He should not prick her anger again.

He hugged her from behind. Grabbed her guitar and put it aside. He buried his head to her shoulder and kissed her neck. He smelled her fresh hair. "I'm just curious. Baby, you're the one I like. Not her. You seem to avoid my particular question. So, I ignored it all this time. But now, I'm really curious about what happened to her?"

She sighed and leaned her head closer to his, she replied with a soft voice, "You were back to America before what happened. So, no wonder you didn't know. It was four years ago when I accidentally fell to the pond. It was a horrible experience for me because I almost died at that time. If not because of a certain boy came to save me, I would not be here. After I woke up, my mommy told me that Sister Kezia went to grandfather's place. She will be staying there until she finished her middle school If I'm not wrong."

He looked at her shockingly. It was the first time he heard about this. Why did she tell him about this right now? Why not before? Was it traumatic for her? Was that the reason she didn't tell him? He nodded for it may be possible.

He diverts his thoughts and focusing on her. He patted her head while feeling guilty, "I'm sorry if only I was there beside you. At least, you're fine now." She shook her head and telling him it was alright, she also said sorry until now she kept this secret to him. He kissed her lips lightly and continued to ask her, "So, why did your sister go to your grandfather's place?"

She played with her hair and answered, "I don't know. They said it's related to the company, ah," She suddenly realized their topic was all about her sister! She shouted, "Ah! Ah! Don't ask her again! I don't like you to speak another girl beside me. Especially when we are together!"

He laughed and held her tighter. He pushed her down to the fur carpet. They lay down and began to roll around like a ball. He hugged her from behind. She giggled and pressed him back. She moved to circle him from behind just like a snake, strangling him with her hand."Ow! Ow! It hurts!"

She snickered, "Who said who wanted to wrestle with me?!"

He pounded his hand to the floor and shouted to her, "Ow! Ow! Give up! Give up! I just want to hug you, idiot!"

"Who did you called 'idiot'?! Idiot!!" Shaaa~ She hissed from his words.

"Owawawawawa! Sarah! Sarah! Sara-"

Ting!

She blinked because there was no struggling movement again from him. She looked down and called him, "Daniel? Daniel? Daniel?!" Slapping his face a few times.

He opened his eyelid easily. "You finally wake up?" Sarah asked indifferently. "Why are you so weak?" She said as well as mocking him.

She stood up and went to the kitchen to drink. "Do you want a glass of water too?" Daniel nodded to her request while holding his hurtful head. They were too agitated!

She grabbed two glass and poured the water inside until it filled completely. Suddenly a voice came to her left ear. "Hey."

"Ahh!" She shrieked and accidentally poured the water to his face!

"..." (Daniel)

She was startled for his sudden presence. "Why didn't you say anything? I was scared you, idiot!" He grabbed a towel in the kitchen and wiped his face.

"You didn't hear me walking?"

"I didn't! If I did, I would not be startled like that!" She grabbed his share and shoved it to him.

She strode her legs and went back to the living room, leaning on the sofa, and drinking her cold water.

Daniel sat beside her and asked something, "Hey, If you see me as a dolphin or a butterfly, what will you choose?"

"What's with this question?" She glanced at him strangely.

He elaborated, "I dream I died and heaven tell me I should choose between dolphin or butterfly to reincarnate later. I want to hear your opinion."

She laughed dryly, "What a weird dream you had. You will not die, you still need to wait to marry me later in the future."

"Just tell me." He urged her. His expression was serious. She frowned looking at him so somberly. She answered after thinking for a minute, "Butterfly."

He looked at her, "Butterfly? Why butterfly? Why didn't you choose dolphin? Dolphin is cute."

"Dolphin is a warm, loyal, loving and strong creature. It does fit your personality. But, for personally, I will choose you to be a butterfly. Why? Besides they are a beautiful creature, they are also adaptable to surround. They are fragile, yet they could take any damages coming their way without afraid. They are a simple creature who will keep flying even though their wings stop function. For me, that's what makes it stronger than a dolphin."

Sarah grabbed his face and looked at his slanted eyes. "Also one more thing, If I die, I'll be the flower and you'll be the butterfly. Isn't it a beautiful ending?"

He curved his lips up and chortled, "Dolphin is much better from my view, if I ask you this question again, you will not change your answer, right?"

"Oh, please~ I have this." She pointed to her heart and mind, "Didn't you remember from the school lesson? In this consciousness condition, we used 10-20% of our brain while the other rest inside us. Although one day I'll forget about it, my body will subconsciously remember. Years later ask me and you'll see, I will say the same answer." She said with confidence.

His heart tingling inside, and he didn't know how to express this besides hugging her. He held her waist as he leaned to her lap and began to take a nap.

He smirked along the time. He said to her, "I like you, Sarah."

Dazzling words, she heard another unexpected confession. Geez, how many time did it count? Yet it still made her maiden heart beating. Blushing as she looked down and pecked his lips.

"Un, me too."

The third year, high school.

Inside a grand hall, there were other schools came today. A debate competition would be held. Sarah and her three other teammates as a representative of their school participated in the competition as well.

Under a request from her, Daniel came to support her. Daniel was sitting on the front seat. He looked at her dazzling figure. She stood on the podium as she told an argument with the other team.

Her debate team advance to a second round and then another round until final. She looks focus, scratching line of her script over and over again. Wrote a new line and explained her theory and point of view. Interrupted their thoughts and counter attack them. It was good so far.

Unfortunately, she lost in the last round as she didn't strengthen her last argument. She forgot to research the subject. Their school came in the second place, yet didn't look happy at all. Her teammates told her it was fine. But she didn't satisfy at all!

She strode outside the building and stomped along the way. She stumbled and Daniel grabbed her falling body. "Be careful." He said while holding her waist. When she looked at him, her tears suddenly fell one by one and rain poured, wetting his shirt.

She cursed, "I was so close! So close! I was so stupid! Why did I?! Uwaa!"

He patted her back as he held her tightly. "You were great today, Sarah. I'll buy you dinner now." She didn't hear his words as she kept crying in his embrace. In the end, he was being princess-carry by him into the car.

Ten minutes later, she stopped her wailing. Her eyes were puffed and red. Her snots all over her face. She looks horrible. He held his laugh and said, "Take a look yourself in the mirror. There'll be a surprise."

"Huh? What?" She said curiously. She pulled the mirror above and looked at the 'surprise' he told about. "Hm? There's nothing inside?"

"Wasn't there a monster?"

"..."

"You." He chuckled and the burst to laugh. Sarah hit his shoulder and cried even louder. "Daniel, you bastard! Uwaaa!"
