24 Chapter 024 - Coming Back Home

Emma woke up feeling tired from yesterday's event. As she opens her eyes, she didn't see Yi-Hou sleeping next to her. Instead, he is sitting on by the table with a book in his hand. Emma doesn't need to guess to know what book he is reading since that was the same book that they left it on the table last night.

"Good Morning!" Emma said as she goes over to her husband to give him a morning kiss.

"Good...Good Morning!" Yi-Hou still seems a little shy even though he has already done a lot more with his new wife. He immediately hides the book that he was reading behind him.

"You don't have to hide, I've already seen it."

"I'll study hard and make you happy." Yi-Hou looks shyly away from Emma's eyes.

"Bahaha! You don't have to study that book. You were great last night! Any more than that, I don't think I can handle it." Emma laughs, but she is also serious. This new husband of her really doesn't need any more extra skills. His endurance and great length are enough to kill her.

Yi-Hou didn't say anything but nodded his head, his face is red and warm with a big smile on it. It was amazing for him last night! He never knew when two people connected, it can feel that way.

"Well, I need to talk to you about something. I have talked to the Ding Brothers about this when we first got married. It's been a few years now and lots of things have changed, so this talk will be a little different than theirs." Emma said as she walks to her dresser drawer and took out two bottles. She first took a pill from one of the bottles and puts it away, then she walks back with the other bottle in her hands.

Yi-Hou has a confused look on his face, he has no idea what Emma wants to talk to him about. And what's that thing she has just put it in her mouth?

"When I first married Jie-Jun and Jie-Wai, we talked about birth control. It's not that I didn't want to have children with them, it's just that it's not the right timing. I wanted us to work hard and make more money first and wait a few years. The brothers have both agreed to it, they even think that I should grow up more with my body before conceiving a child." Emma looks straight at Yi-Hou to see how he reacts to this talk. Surprising, he faces didn't change much and he's listening to it seriously.

Yi-Hou is not stupid, he finally knows what Emma has just taken and what's that bottle on her hand now. He might not know much in this area, but his aunt has given him a small lesson about birth control when they first arrived here. She tells him that Emma might bring it up later and he should at least understand what she's trying to tell him.

"So you just took the pill and this one is for me? Yi-Hou said as he points to the bottle in Emma's hand.

"Yes, but I'm not done talking. It's been a few years now and we are doing very well with the businesses and you were the reason why we have made it this far. I have thought about it and I'm already 19 years old now and we are financially well off. It's time to start planning for a baby and I have chosen Jie-Jun to be my first child's father. It will go in order, my first child will be with Jie-Jin, then Jie-Wai and finally with you. Are you okay with that? Of course, I won't try to get pregnant right away since we just got married, but I plan to in a few months after I turn 20 years old." Emma still observing Yi-Hou's reaction, she doesn't want her husbands to be upset about the order when their child will be conceived.

"It's fine," Yi-Hou replies. To him, it doesn't make much difference in having children or not. All he wants is this woman in front of him and nothing more.

Emma breathes out a sigh of relieve. It wasn't easy for her to bring this up and talk to her husbands about it. She has already talked to Jie-Jun about it back home and to Jie-Wai on the boat when they were coming here. It's great that all her husbands are so understanding.

Well, the truth is Jie-Wai is okay with this order because his older brother will be the one to be the father first. And right after his older brother is his turn. If the order is for Yi-Hou to become a father first, he will definitely be against it!

Yi-Hou grabs the bottle from Emma and takes a pill out and puts it in his mouth after reading the instructions. He then picks Emma up in princess style and brings her back to their bed.

"Ah! What are you doing?" It gave Emma a slight fright when Yi-Hou suddenly picks her up. But it feels great to be in his strong arms that can easily pick her.

"We finished talking, right?" Yi-Hou looks at Emma with his handsome face and adoring eyes.

"Uh. Yes."

"Then it's time to continue our honeymoon."

"Ar...why so sudden? We have just woken up!" Emma said with shyness flash across her face.

"We are on our honeymoon." Yi-Hou pauses a little and then continue to say, "we should enjoy ourselves before we go back. And before you get pregnant with a baby."

Before Emma can reply back, Yi-Hou's lips are already on hers. He can still remember clearly what they did last night. He was studying that book seriously while waiting for his new bride to wake up so they can continue what they were doing last night.

"Wait, wait." Emma pleads, as soon as her lips are free. Her body is aching from being on top last night. She's not the fit type, especially coming to this world has spoiled her rotten. She didn't have to run around or work hard like she used to so her body is a little...well, actually very out of shape. She vows that she will start exercising more after this honeymoon period to lost some of those...umm...baby fats!

"You don't want to with me?" Yi-Hou looks at Emma with his beautiful innocent eyes.

Her chest just starts to race after looking at his beautiful but very innocent look in his eyes. She was going to rest for the day but... Oh, whatever. How can she resist this man in front of her? She quickly removes her clothes and Yi-Hou removed his own clothes seeing that Emma is taking off hers.

The two body tangles together with Yi-Hou's lips kissing every part of Emma's body. Each kiss sends a shock wave to her body. She can't hold herself back from his kisses and starts to moan.

Times files and the honeymoon finishes after two weeks. The couple feels like they have known each other more than before and in more than just one way. They took the boat back home so it took another two weeks.

When they arrived at the port, the Ding brothers are already there waiting for them with the carriage. Emma sent them letters and told them their return date so they have been waiting for her to come back home. The brothers miss her a lot, it just doesn't feel the same at home anymore with their wife there.

As soon as Jie-Jun sees Emma getting off the boat, he rushes up to receive her and Jie-Wai is right behind him. Emma is so happy to see them both coming to get her at the port. Even though she really enjoyed the time she spends with Yi-Hou there, she also misses these two husbands.

Emma immediately gave both of her long time no see husbands a big teddy bear kind of hugs. She then holds each of them by their arm and walks toward the horse carriage leaving Yi-Hou behind.

Yi-Hou isn't mad or jealous of the brothers since he knows that they miss Emma a lot too. Having them agreed to the wedding overseas and letting Emma stay there for so long alone with him is more than enough. He knows that the brothers never have Emma for such a long time all to themselves since marriage. They have always shared the days, so he is very grateful to them for allowing him to have Emma all to himself for the whole time overseas.

Everything goes back to normal and Emma and her husbands are working harder than ever to make more money. She has suggested to her husbands that they should have a boat since they always order supplies from overseas. With their own boat, they can send their own people to buy supplies and even sell their own products to the people overseas. It will save a lot of money in the long run and they can also go on vacations more often to visit friends and families overseas.

But buying an already made boat is very expensive, so Emma suggests custom making one. They don't need it to be so big like the one they were on before, but not too small either. She didn't really like the inside designs of the boat that they were on before and knows that commercial boat looks different on the inside. She needs to design something that will make the boat feels comfortable to travel in but can still hold lots of things on the inside for commercial use too.

The custom boat will take a long time to design and to make. But Emma is very excited about this project and so is Yi-Hou. Yi-Hou has made many good suggestions about the boat's design. A few months later the design is all done, all they need is to find the right people to hired to make their dream boat. Yi-Hou is all for it, he loses lots of his shyness since marrying Emma and has learned to take care of himself and others. They found a group of people that has many years of experience making boats to help them make this boat and Yi-Hou is there along the way to give suggestions and also helping with his hands to make it.

Everything is going well and Emma has already turned 20 years old last month. She is thinking that it might be time to start having children. With the boat, it will be awesome to bring them out on the sea and to visit their great grandparents too.

That evening, she was having dinners with her husbands. No matter how busy life is, she believes that a family should always sit down together and eat dinner together. But lately, she feels very tired and is losing appetite. She thought that she might have worked too hard and it's time for a break since everything is right on track.

She picks up a piece of meat and puts it in her mouth to eat, suddenly she feels nauseous. The meat tastes weird to her and it's not as good as she had it before.

"What's wrong? You don't like the food?" Jie-Jun asked when he sees Emma putting down her chopstick and stops eating.

"I'm not hungry and the meat tastes a little weird. I'm a little tired so I'll go to bed first." Emma said as she gets up to go to her room to rest.

Jie-Wai picks the meat up with his chopsticks and took a bite. It didn't taste weird to him, "It tastes good." Jie-Wai said as he finishes up the food.

"Emma doesn't look too well lately. She said she's tired and didn't come to see the boat's progress today." Yi-Hou also said as he puts down his chopstick. He is also worried that Emma is getting sick.

"I'll call a doctor over later and have him take a look at her. Let's continue and finish our dinner first." Jie-Jun said as he quickly eats to finish the dinner so he can go make the call.

The private doctor that Jie-Jun called, came later that night. He brought the doctor up to Emma's room. Jie-Wai and Yi-Hou also follow behind them, they also want to know how Emma is feeling.

Knock. Knock.

"Come in," Emma said from the inside of the room.

Jie-Jun opens the door to Emma's room but has the doctor waited outside first.

"Emma, you don't look so well lately. Do you want to get checked out by a doctor?" Jie-Jun asked.

"It's not a big deal, I'm just a little tired."

"But I have already called for a private doctor to come to take a look at you. He's right outside the door. Let him take a look at you, okay?" Jie-Jun said.

"Let him take a look at you, otherwise we will all be worried." Jie-Wai also comes into the room with Yi-Hou. Yi-Hou also nods his head to agree with Jie-Wai.

"I can't say 'no' now, can I? He's already here and is right outside." Emma shakes her head, she really thinks that her husbands are overreacting.

"Doctor. Please come in," Jie-Jun called out to the doctor that is already waiting outside.

The doctor is an older man in his fifties and is dressed in traditional clothing. He quickly comes in and checks on Emma's pulse. He then asks her a few questions before announcing his diagnosis.

"Madame, do you feel tired and loss of appetite lately?" The doctor asked while his hand is still taking her pulse.

"Yes," Emma answers honestly.

"Is your menstrual regular?" The doctor continues to ask.

"Ah...yes." Emma is a little shy answering this question since the doctor is a male.

"When was your last period?" The doctor has removed his hand from Emma's hand. He has finished taking her pulse and knows what's wrong with her by now.

"Um...I don't quite remember since I have been so busy lately. Maybe a month or two months ago?" Emma tries to remember. Now that she thinks about it, she has been too busy to remember when her last period was.

"Well, I have good news for you. You are currently two months pregnant and your body is healthy." The doctor gives his diagnosis.

Almost instantly the whole room is silent for a good couple of seconds and suddenly happiness fits the room. Everyone is happy but Emma is looking confused.

"But how can it be? All my husbands are on birth control." Emma looks at her husbands with a confused look on her face.

Jie-Wai and Yi-Hou shake their head to show that it's not them and they have been taking the birth control pills. But Jie-Jun just couldn't hold back the smile on his face.

"Silly, Emma. We talked about having children last year and again two months ago after you come back from overseas with Yi-Hou. You told me to stop the birth control pills, but I told you that I have already taken another one not too long ago and the effect will last for another 4 more months. That effective four-month period had passed already a few months ago and I have stopped taking the birth control pills." Jie-Jun explains. He is so excited, he is going to be a father!

"Oh...OH!!! I see. Oh my god, how can I forgot such a thing!" Emma suddenly remembers about the talk, she has been so busy that she has completely forgotten about it! She can't believe she's pregnant and is going to be a mother!

She places her hand gently on her belly and suddenly strong emotion passes through her. Even though she has been planning about it, but when it actually happens, the feeling is completely different.

Jie-Wai and Yi-Hou walk the doctor out of the room to give this couple their time to enjoy this moment of finding out the good news. They are very happy for them and they know that after this child comes, they will also become fathers. So they will patiently wait for this child to come and treat it as their own too.
