22 Chapter 022 - Alice Logi

Emma and her husbands have finally reached Yi-Hou's place. They were surprised by how big and luxury it was. No wonder Yi-Hou doesn't have to work back then but can still order lots of things to experiment his own inventions.

There's less than a week until the actual wedding date. Most of the stuff is done since the two mothers work very quickly with Yi-Hou together. Emma's second older sister has also come over earlier to help out while spending time with their mother.

"Emma, you are finally here!" Sofia said as she runs to her daughter when she saw her coming in through the front door.

"I'm so glad you are here already, let's go try on the wedding dress. We just got it back yesterday from the tailor after altering it a little bit." Madame Ding said as she pulls Emma by one arm and Sofia by the other. The two women sandwiched Emma to take her away.

The Ding brothers are speechless with the two mothers' action. Didn't they see them walk in right behind her?

"Mother! Didn't you see us?" Ding Jie-Wai asked as he watches the three women walk away.

The three women stopped and Madame Ding turns around and said, "of course I see you! I'm not blind. We are busy here and don't have time for you boys. Go look for Yi-Hou and help him out, make yourself useful." Madame Ding rolls her eyes at her sons and continues to walk away.

"Older brother, why do I feel like that mother loves Yi-Hou more than us? Are we not her son?" Jie-Wai asked.

Jie-Jun just laughs a little and shakes his head. His little brother can be childish sometimes. His mother does love Yi-Hou a lot just like she loves them. She has already prepared a nice wedding for them back then and now she's doing the same for Yi-Hou. Just like his mother treats Yi-Hou as her real son. He also treats him like his real brother too.

"Come on, let's go look for Yi-Hou and see if he needs any help," Jin-Jun said as he walks away.

"Wait for me!" Jie-Wai yells as chase after his brother.

Inside the bedroom that was already prepared for Emma, a wedding dress lays on the bed. As soon as Emma walks in, she sees the dress. She immediately ran toward it and picks the dress up.

"Oh my god! This dress is so beautiful!" Emma said happily with lights shining from her eyes. This dress doesn't look outdated at all and it's actually the style she likes!

"When we told Yi-Hou to take out his mother's wedding because you are going to wear it, he was so happy. We told him that we might have to alter it a little to make it more suited for you. He said that he will tell the tailor how and where to change the design on the dress. So all the changes on this dress are all Yi-Hou's idea," Madame Ding said.

"That's right, Emma. I can tell that Yi-Hou cares a lot about you. He did lots of the preparation and have been running around to get things done. He might not talk much, but we can tell by his actions." Sofia also said.

Emma is touch by what these two mothers have told her. She knows that Yi-Hou did a lot for her, but she also knows that he might also be running away from these two women by working hard.

"Knock, Knock" The door opened and a woman walks into the room.

Emma looks at the woman that has just walked in, she doesn't remember meeting this woman before. After thinking for a little bit, she finally remembered who she is. She's her second older sister, Alice Logi. She has never met this second older sister before ever since she came to this world. Alice also didn't attend her wedding before due to living in a far away country with her husbands and her wedding back then was kind of rushed.

According to the remembers of this body's original owner. This second older sister has a strong character like her mother. She decided to marry her husbands even though their three fathers rejected it. She was going to cut off her relationship with the fathers to marry her husbands just like their mother did back then. But mother came out to convince the three fathers to let her second older sister to get married to her current husbands and reminded them about their own past.

"Emma, why are you looking at me like that and not saying anything? Don't tell me you have already forgotten about me!" Alice teasingly said.

"How could that be, second older sister. I missed you a lot!" Emma ran over to give Alice a hug. She remembers that the three Logi sisters are very close to each other. Just as the sisters were about to hug each other like they used to. They were stopped by Sofia.

"Emma, you two can't go crazy bear hug each other right now. Your second older sister is currently pregnant with her first child, so you have to be careful and be gentle around her." Sofia said.

"Congratulation! Second older sister!"

"Thank you! Emma, I got married a year earlier than you. Maybe I'll hear some good news from you soon." Alice said while smiling.

"Maybe," Emma replies, also smiling. She then asked, "where are my brothers in law?"

"They have been very clingy lately and won't let me do anything since they found out about my pregnancy. You know I like to move around and do things myself, so I left them home by themselves and run off here to be with mother." Alice replies while shaking her head.

"I'm surprised that they didn't follow you here," Emma remembers her brothers in law are very protective of her second older sister.

"They wanted to come here with me, but I wouldn't let them. I threatened to go back home together with mother after the wedding if they dare to come here before the actual wedding date! Humph!"

"Ha..ha.." Emma dry laugh a little. She felt sorry for her brothers in law. Her second older sister can be willful sometimes, just like their mother.

In the backyard of the mansion, Yi-Hou is instructing the servants to put up the tents with curtains. The wedding will be held in this huge backyard of the mansion just like his parents did. He heard the stories from his aunt about not many people attend his parent's wedding because his father married a foreigner from another country. So there were only close family members from both sides that had attended.

For his own wedding, it's almost the same. His parents aren't here anymore and the only relative that he still stay in contact with is only his aunt and her family. All of Emma's family will also be here, they will soon be his family too.

"Yi-Hou, do you need any help?" A familiar voice was heard.

Yi-Hou stops whatever he is doing and turns around to look for the owner of the voice. He then sees the Ding brothers walking toward him and the person that spoke earlier was Jie-Wai.

"You're here!" Yi-Hou said with a smile on his face. He's not smiling because the Ding's brother is here. It's because if they are here, then Emma is also here. He looks around but couldn't see the figure of the person that he's longing for. His smile slowly disappeared from his face.

"Your face doesn't have to change so quickly!" Jie-Wai said as he rolled his eyes at him.

The brothers, of course, know why he faces changes so quickly. It's because he only got to see them and not Emma.

"Emma is with the mothers right now. They wanted her to go try on the wedding dress as soon as we got here." Jie-Jun explains, he totally understands his feeling.

Yi-Hou nodded his head to shows that he understands. He then tells the Ding brothers what he is currently doing and how they can help. The three men start working together until night time. Yi-Hou could have gotten help from others but he insisted on doing most of the stuff by himself. He designed the wedding reception area and did most of the shopping with the help from the two mothers.

Time flies by quickly, a week have gone by and it is finally the wedding date.

Yi-Hou is dressed in a western white suit walking back and fore in the reception area. When the two mothers saw him, their brows furrowed. They immediately ran up to him and pulled him to the side.

"How can you look like this on this important day?" Madame Ding said.

"That's right, you can look like this any other time, but not today!" Sofia also said.

Yi-Hou has no idea what they are talking about. He's wearing a nice new white suit, not his usual shabby clothes. He has showered and even tied his hair up for the first time in years. He thinks he looks perfectly fine and good.

Seeing his confused look, the women are speechless and rolled their eyes at him. They then look over at the men section and called their sons and sons-in-law to come over.

"What is it, mother?" Jie-Jun asked.

"What's the matter, Sofia?" Alice's husbands also asked at the same time.

The two women points at Yi-Hou and Sofia finally said, "fix him! Don't let Emma see him like this!"

All the men look toward at Yi-Hou, after looking at him, they all shake their head helplessly. They immediately brought him away, back to his room to fix him up.

Inside of Yi-Hou's room, the men look inside his bathroom and can't find what they are looking for.

"He probably doesn't have it since I have seen him use it before," Jie-Jun said.

"I'll go get mine!" Jie-Wai immediately ran out to go to his room.

"What's going on?" Yi-Hou is still confused.

"Brother in law, you can be serious. How can you go out and get married like this?" Luca said. He is one of Alice's husband and is the youngest of the three brothers.

"My clothes are fine and I showered," Yi-Hou said.

"It's not about your clothes, did you even look in the mirror?"

"But I tied up my hair already, it's not messy anymore." Yi-Hou still doesn't understand.

"You hair is still messy but that's not the worst part," Luca said.

"The worst part is that you didn't even shave! You look like a caveman!" Daniel also skips in to said, he is also Alice's husband and also Luca's second older brother.

"But...but I don't think Emma would mind." Yi-Hou tries to defend himself.

"She might not mind and she might not even want to spend the wedding night with you!" Marco said, also one of Alice's husbands and the eldest brother of the three.

Shocked! Yi-Hou never thought about it that way. What if what they say is true? What if Emma does mind or that she doesn't want to spend the wedding night with him due to his looks!" He starts to panic a little bit. Just as he's panicking, Jie-Wai is back and brought back lots of things with him.

Seeing his brother comes back with the things they need to groom Yi-Hou, Jie-Jun turns to Yi-Hou and said, "don't worry, we will take good care of you!"

Yi-Hou looks at the men that are currently smiling at him. Their smiles are scary in his eyes, he feels like he has become prey for a bunch of wolves. He wants to back up but has nowhere to hide.

A little over half an hour later, the men released Yi-Hou to go back to the reception area. The three husbands of Alice have a shocked look on their face, they didn't expect Yi-Hou to look like that but is also happy with the outcome of his look. On the other hand, the Ding brothers have seen Yi-Hou's face before without the facial hair from when he was younger. He still looks the same but a little more mature than before. They felt that this elder cousin of theirs has finally grown up to into a real man.

Emma is inside of her room waiting for someone to come get her. Even though this is not her first wedding, she's still very nervous.

Bam! The door flew open and a woman came inside the room.

Emma thought that it has to her mother since she's the only one that will come into her room like that. When she turned to look at the door, the person that came running in is not her mother but her second older sister.

"Emma, are you ready?" Alice said as she comes over to Emma. Her eyes shine in a bright light upon seeing her little sister. " Oh my, you look stunning in that dress with that makeup and hairstyle!"

"Thank You!" Emma smiles gently.

"Fathers are waiting for you downstairs. They all wanted to walk you down the aisle."

"Ar...but it will be kind of odd." Emma knows that the father usually walks the bride down the aisle to her husband in the other world. But she has no idea how to do it here in this world. It might look kind of weird to have three fathers walking her down, Emma though.

"Don't worry, the way it works here is simple. Our three father will take turns walking you down part of the aisle. Father Ming will walk you one-third of the aisle and then switched with Father Jing as you all are still walking. Finally, Father Sing will walk you the rest of the way and hand you over to your husband."

"I see." Emma's glad that all three of her father gets the chance to walk her down the aisle. And her real father gets to walk the last part to hand her over to her husband.

"Come on, let's get going," Alice said as she holds her sister's hand and walks downstairs with her.

When Emma got downstairs, her heart is beating very fast. This is finally happening, a western style wedding that she has always dreamed of. And the people she loves are all here, including both of her sisters and their husbands too.

Seeing Emma walking downstairs with her wedding dress on, her three fathers had tears in their eyes. It was tough for them to marry her off the first she got married and it will be tough to do it again for them. Both their elder and second daughter only had one wedding with all three of their husbands. But Emma has two weddings separately with her husbands. It makes them feel like giving away another daughter again.

"Emma, so you so beautiful today!" Father Ming said as he goes ahead first to get an arm on his arm to walk her down.

"Thank you, Father Ming!"

Just as Emma steps out the door to the backyard, she is surprised by what she sees. The wedding reception is designed very beautifully and it also has a modern feel to it. It looks so perfect! But that isn't what she is surprised by the most. It was the people there that surprised her the most.
