21 Chapter 021 - Sailing on a Boa

Chinese New Year has finally ended and the two mothers are ready to go to Yi-Hou's home country to prepare for the wedding. Emma told Yi-Hou to go ahead to meet up with the two mothers first to go with them so that he can help with the preparation of the wedding. It took quite a bit of convincing to get him to go ahead first because he keeps insisting on finishing up his work before going. Yi-Hou's work really isn't that urgent and he can continue where he left off when he comes back. She knows Yi-Hou is dragging his feet so that he can go together with her and the Ding brothers. It seems like he is scared to be alone with the two mothers ever since they stayed here the last time they visited.

It's been a busy month for Emma and her husbands since the new year. It's almost time for them to go too, so they are packing their bags. They are making sure that things will be taken care of when they are away.

It is the night before their departure date, Emma is in her room still working on something. She didn't even notice that Jie-Jun has walked in and he didn't disturb her. It took Emma an hour to finish up what she was doing to finally look up and to stretch her body. As she's stretching, she finally notices Jie-Jun looking at her while sitting up on her bed with a book in his hand.

"You should have let me know when you come in so I could stop what I'm doing," Emma said as she walks to the bed. She got to the bed and sit next to her husband and saw the book he had in his hand.

"I didn't want to disturb you when you are working seriously over there. But we are leaving early in the morning tomorrow, you shouldn't work so late. I was going to stop you and bring you to bed soon if you were still working a little later." Jie-Jun puts the book that he was reading down at the nightstand and lays down with Emma.

"You are talking about me working late at night, but you are doing the same. You are looking at this month's accounting book too for the businesses." Emma rolls her eyes at him. She's not the only one still working, okay!

"Wife, our businesses are doing very well. You have written out a couple more plans for future businesses. I think we should slow down our speed with the businesses. We have become one of the wealthiest in the country already with just a few short years. I think it is enough for now and we should concentrate on what we have until we have a strong foundation." Jie-Jun said seriously to Emma. He was very wealthy before but now they are extremely wealthy. He's worried that they are moving way too quickly and others will be jealous of them and might do something to harm the family.

Emma understands his concerns and knows that too much wealth and attention can cause trouble too if they don't have a stronger foundation to back themselves up. "I understand. Then after my wedding with Yi-Hou, we will just continue to work on what we have started first. The other plans can wait until after I have my first child."

Surprised by her last sentence, Jie-Jun immediately sits up and look straight at Emma. "What do you mean by your last sentence?" He asked.

Seeing his surprised look, Emma wants to laugh. "Well, I'm already 19 years old and we doing well financially. Plus, I'll soon have my third husband, who will also be my last one. I think it's about time to start thinking about having children. I think it's better to have children when we are younger. That way we will still be young when the children grow up. We can also retire early and enjoy life together and finally relax." Emma said with a smile on her face.

"Who...umm…?" Jie-Jun wants to ask whose child will she carry first, but is worried that it might not be the answer he is hoping for.

Knowing what he wants to ask, she continues to say, "The first child that I'm going to have will be with you." She looks seriously at Jie-Jun and continues to say, "Even though there's no ranking between you and Jie-Wai, but my first child has to be with you. Then it will be Jie-Wai and lastly will be Yi-Hou. Like my mother, I only plan to have one child with each husband."

Jie-Jun's face has a big smile knowing that her first child is going to be with him. He doesn't care that she only wants just one child per husband, it's enough that she cares about him enough to have it with him first.

"Wife, having one child is okay with me. I will love the child no matter it's a boy or girl." He pulls Emma to his embraces and hugs her tight.

"So...umm...so you should stop taking the birth control pills after my wedding with Yi-Hou. If I conceive the child sometime within this year, then I can give birth to the child next year." Emma said shyly while burying her head in his chest.

"That sounds good. But I'll wait a few months after your wedding with Yi-Hou before I stop taking the pills. It won't be fair for Yi-Hou if you get pregnant right after marrying him. Jie-Wai and I had you to ourselves for a few years now, so I also want Yi-Hou to have some quality time with you first before you carry my child. Plus, there's no rush since you will only turn 20 years old next year."

"Mm…" Emma replies with a sound while nodding her head. She's happy that her husband is not jealous of Yi-Hou and even cares for him as he does with his own young brother.

The two hugs each other tight to sleep, they have to wake up early in the morning so they really shouldn't sleep too late, Emma though. But it seems like Jie-Jun has another plan, he is too happy to sleep right now.

"Wife, let's practice." He said and suddenly got on top of her.

"Practice wha...mmm…" Before Emma can finish her sentence, her lips are sealed by his soft gentle lips. She finally understands what he means by practice. He wants to practice planting a baby in her. She was surprised by his sudden action since she thought that they were going to sleep. But she isn't against it either and starts responding back to his kiss.

Jie-Jun's hands are busy taking off her clothes as he kisses her. Emma also helps him taking off his clothes as they kiss. Their clothes came off very quickly and their bodies are tangled up together.

Jie-Jun then moves down to her chest and fondle her pair of soft breast that will feed his future child. As he fondles it with one hand on one breast, she immediately sucks the other breast with his mouth like a child. Unlike his usually kiss, lick and gentle sucking, he sucks it hard like he is trying to drink the milk from the breast.

They both clean up very quickly and soon falls asleep with Emma in Jie-Jun's arms. But they both didn't get much sleep since they slept late. They can only sleep about four hours before they have to wake up and get ready to leave.

The sun didn't even come out yet when everyone has to wake up to get ready. By the time they are ready to leave, the sun just rises in the sky. They left in a horse carriage to the seaport to take the boat. They also brought a few servants to go along with them so that someone can take care of their needs when they are traveling.

Emma thought that she won't get to go travel for a long time since the Ding brothers won't let her go the last time that Jie-Wai and Yi-Hou on a business trip. So she's actually very happy and excited about this trip to Yi-Hou's home country.

Upon reaching the seaport, she can see the big boat that they will be taking. The boat is big but not big enough to be considered a ship yet. Emma has seen people traveling in a cruise before on the TV. She has never been on the sea trips before and wishes to sail out on the ocean just like the others do for vacations. Even though this boat is not as big the cruises she had seen before on the TV, but she's still very excited!

Traveling by boat is very common in this world but also very expensive since this is the only transportation to go to other far away counties. There are also different quality rooms for passengers in the boat. The cheapest ticket to take the boat have no individual rooms. Passengers with the cheapest ticket will stay on the lowest floor level in the open space area. They will have to share the open space together with the other same ticket class. There's no bed, chair or anything for the passengers in this class. They will have to sit and sleep on the floor. This floor usually has the most people.

The next floor up costs double the price than the cheapest tickets. There are rooms, but 6-8 people have to share a very small room together. There are bunk beds to share. Then for the next floor up, the ticket price goes up triple and the rooms are being shared with 3-5 people. As for the next floor up, which is also the top floor. It has the biggest rooms but also have a hefty price tag along with it. The price is crazy expensive, just staying in one of these rooms can buy you a small house in a good neighborhood town.

Jie-Jun got tickets to the rooms on the top floor. He got two rooms to share between himself, his brother and Emma. As for the servants, he got them one of the shared rooms for 3-5 people which is just right below them. The servants are glad that they get to follow along with their masters and mistress. Otherwise, they might not be able to board a boat like this especially staying in this very expensive room on the boat.

They will need to travel on the boat for 2 weeks, and then half a day on the horse carriage afterward to reach their destination. Emma has no idea how expensive the tickets were for the rooms since Jie-Jun is the one that took care of it. He also pays for all the tickets for his parents and Emma's parents and other family members and relatives that will attend the wedding.

When Emma found out how much money was spent on the tickets to board the boat and the rooms, she almost spills out blood. They didn't just pay for themselves but for everyone that is attending the wedding! She understands that most of the people might not attend the wedding if they have to miss out work and pay for their own tickets for the boat. That's why Jie-Jun offered to pay for the tickets for the wedding. The people that received the wedding invitations were surprised and happy that they get to travel for free. It's like a free vacation for them but they still have to pay for their own hotel rooms, which is nothing compare to the boat tickets.

Emma vows to build or buy a boat in the near future. It doesn't make sense to her to spend so much money just to travel on the boat. She has families living overseas and their businesses sometimes need to imports things from other countries. If they have their own boat, then traveling will be more convenient and can save lots of money. But most importantly, they can go to other countries more easily and bring back more different things. One of her future plans is to spread out her businesses in different part of the world to makes it big. So owning a big boat is a must for her! Because of her thinking of owning a boat, her future business will expand to other parts of the world. Her products will be able to sell all over the world and her name will be well known by many people. But of course, this will all be in the far future.

Two week passes by very quickly, Emma and the Ding brothers have reached their destination. They are currently now on the horse carriage to Yi-Hou's house. Emma imagines that Yi-Hou's house to be a regular or a slightly big size house since he used to live by himself. But when she got there, she is surprised by the size of it. It's a big mansion with tons of land around it! She knew western houses are bigger compared to Asian properties, but it is huge! How does Yi-Hou manage to live here all by himself before? Looking at this big mansion, she is getting nervous since it's going to be the wedding soon. Even though this is not her first wedding, but she is still nervous and excited about it at the same time.
