1 Chapter 001 - I've transmigrated

Uh, why am I feeling pain? I'm supposed to on the plane right now. Oh right, the plane crash due to the terrorist attack. Is this heaven or is this hell?

Emma looked around and noticed she's in a very big room. She's current sleeping on a very big comfortable bed. But something didn't seem right to her because the decorations in this room didn't look like anything from her world.

"Emma, you are finally awake. I was so worried about you." A woman that looks to be around her late thirties walked into the room. She had very long beautiful smooth light brown hair and is dressed in some strange clothing.

"Um…..do I know you?" Emma is confused who this woman is, how did she know her name.

"Waah... I have to go get the doctor quick. How can you forget your mama?" The woman ran out of the room in a hurry to call for the doctor.

Mama? She's my mother? How can that be? My mother has died when I was still very young and she didn't look half as pretty as this woman, Emma thought.

Emma then got up from the bed and walk toward the mirror. When she saw her reflection on the mirror, it gave her a shock! The person shown in the mirror is not her, she didn't look anything like that. She didn't have long brown hair like this and she definitely isn't that pretty.

She's an American born Chinese that live in NYC. Her parent has passed away when she was very young and she was raised by her relative. In order to not burden her relative, she worked lots of part-time jobs to support herself. She went to college with her hard earned money. She had just graduated from college and found a good paying job. She thought her life will be changed for the better. In order to reward herself for all these years of hard work, she took the very first vacation of her life. But the plane ended up being hijacked by terrorist and crashed. When she woke up, she's in this strange world.

"Emma, what are you doing? You shouldn't get out of bed yet. Come back to bed!" She then turns to the person next to her: "And doctor, please check to see why she can't remember me."

The woman who claims to be Emma's mother has come back with a 60-year-old looking man who also dresses strangely. The clothes they had on looks like ancient Chinese clothing, but also have a little western style mixed in.

Emma walks back to her bed and lets the old man examine her. She didn't want to say anything since she still doesn't know what's going now.

"Madame, please calm down a bit. Your daughter had a serious head injury, so it is possible for her to have memory loss. The memory loss can be temporary but can also be permanent. I think it's good enough that she was able to wake up." The man said to the woman as he packs up his bag full of strange equipment.

"You are right, doctor. I'm just glad she's still here with is. Even without the memories from before, we can make new ones." The woman had tears in her eyes from remembering what had happened.

The doctor gave the woman directions on how to care for Emma, he then left the room to leave.

"Emma, you still don't remember me?" The woman looked at Emma hoping she can remember something, but to her disappointment, Emma just shakes her head.

Emma thought it's not that I don't remember you. It's just that I don't even know who you are!

"Your name is Emma Logi and I am your mother, Sofia Logi. That's all you need to know for now. It's very late now, you should rest. We'll talk in the morning, your memories might even come back by tomorrow."

Emma nodded her head to show she understands. Her mother then left the room and closed the door behind her.

After Sofia has left, Emma immediately got up and walked toward the mirror again where the dresser is. She looked in the mirror and sighed deeply as she sees the reflection. I guess I have transmigrated, but where am I? At least I know my name is still the same but now I have a different last name. Emma's last name when she was in the other world is Chen, but now, she's Emma Logi.

All my hard work is gone now, I have finally graduated from college and got a good job offer. I even made my last tuition payment too. I have worked so hard for nothing! And even if I'm gone, no one is going to remember me or miss me. She's starting to get depressed from her own thinking.

I can't be like, I have to be positive! It might not be that bad to transmigrated here, at least I have become pretty and also have a mother that I've always wanted. Emma starts opening the drawers in the dresser, she found a diary in the top dresser drawer. She opens it and was blown away by what was written inside. The diary has lots of Emma Logi's personal information and also her secrets. Emma started keeping this dairy since she was 10 years old and she is currently 16 years old.

Emma puts the diary away and then walk toward the bookcase, there were many books there. She saw a history book regarding this world, so she took it from the bookcase and starts reading it. It turns out that this world that she's in is a lost world that has not been recorded in the history.

In this world, the population of male and female is very unbalanced due to the past history of people wanting a male heir. There was a long period of time in history that people wanted male heirs so much that they were killing off their female offspring.

Soon, there weren't enough female for all the extra male in the world. Slowly, people are stealing other people's wives, sisters, and daughters from all over the places. It had become a mad world! Females were afraid to go outside by themselves, worried they will be kidnapped and forced to marry someone they don't know. The situation has become so bad that a group of women and some upright men came out and formed a military group to protect themselves and their family members.

After years of fighting, they took down the main culprit of all, the Emperor! He's the one that has 3000 concubines and consorts in his back palace. He will only pass on his throne to a son, so all those women in the back palace only care about giving birth to a son. All the citizens start copying what's going on inside the palace. Men are starting to take multiple wives to show off and only pass on their inheritance to their male heirs.

Even with the shortage of female in the world, the emperor still sent troops to forcefully take the girls and women from their home to bring them back to the palace for himself. Due to his selfishness, the already shortage of female has worsened to the point that others have to turn to steal other people's wife, sisters, and daughters. Often times, they will steal from other towns, village and even as far away from another country.

Soon, people from all over the world start doing the same thing and the world has become unbalanced. After the emperors and kings from all over have world have been taken down, a world government has been formed. They have selected a female leader to become the president and have set a couple of new laws.

One of the new law is no more stealing females anymore! If it were found out, that men will be tortured and executed. Of course, the men will not accept this easily. So the next law that the president made is that women MUST take at least three or more men as husbands, but men can only have one wife.

Soon, the world that was supposed to be men who are more superior than women has completely flipped. Women are now more superior than men and have the final saying at home. With these new changes, the world has once again become peaceful. It has also brought positive changes too to this overpopulated men world. And this has continued for over 200 years and now it has become something very normal for the people in this world.

That was just too much information for her to handle right now. She put the history book back to the bookcase and went back to bed. She just wants to sleep right now since this body is still weak. Very soon, the sound of normal breathing is heard, Emma has fallen asleep. As she's sleeping, little fragment of memories is appearing in her mind. Those memories consist of Emma Logi's family. She has a mother, three fathers, and two older sisters.

The next morning, Emma woke up early. She needs to use the bathroom because she needs to pee. The memories of Emma Logi is slowly appearing so by searching through her memories, she knows where the bathroom is. She ran to the bathroom and immediately locked the door. She can't wait and quickly took her pants off and sat on the toilet to relieve herself. She was glad that they have the western style toilet in this house.

According to the memories, this country that she lives in uses mainly squat toilets! But the western toilet is also available to wealthy families that can afford it. Fortunately, this family is very well off and can afford it. Ever since the world government has been created, there's still different countries and races in this world. But they are all ruled by the same world government, so the culture and tradition are mixed. The place I'm currently in is a big country in the southeast, so it has more of Chinese culture and tradition.

Emma quickly finishes using the toilet, she washes up and went back to her room. She's standing in front of her closest and has no idea what to wear. There are many different styles of clothing in the closet. Some are western style, but most clothes are more of a Chinese ancient style. She's not used to this kind of clothing, so she picked out a simple blue dress to wear and sat in front of the mirror. Her real age is supposed to be 21 years old, but this body is only 16 years old.

She has always had short hair due to her having many part-time jobs and because of work, she has no time to worry about her hair. Whenever it gets long or gets in the way, she'll cut it herself to save money. But the current her has very long beautiful hair, it'll be a waste if she cuts it. But she has no idea how to style it either, so she just tied it up as a simple ponytail. The simple ponytail actually gives her a cleaner and a brighter look, which suits her a lot.

After getting dressed, she went downstairs. This is a very big house, actually more like a mansion. She's been poor all her life, so seeing a beautiful big house like this makes Emma very excited. She can't help herself but to look around more and touch the stuff all over. She was looking for the woman that she saw last night who is supposed to be her mother.

After a few minutes of searching, she found Sofia in the kitchen with three men. Those three men are placing the food for breakfast onto a tray while Sofia watches them. When Sofia sees Emma coming into the kitchen, she immediately got up and ran toward her.

"Good Morning, sweety, how are you feeling?" Sofia ran over to Emma and is looking at her all over. She wants to see if her daughter is feeling better.

"Good Morning, Mother. And Good Morning, Father Ming, Father Jing, and Father Sing." Emma looked at her mother first then turned to look the three men. Those three men are her fathers according to the memories in her head.

According to the memories in her head, her mother has three husbands. All three men are real brothers from the same parents, their last name is Zhang. Usually, we have to call our father by their last name. But if they are brothers or have the same last name, we will then call them by their first name. As children, we take over our mother's last name.

"Oh my, Emma, you remembered us?" Sofia's eyes open wide and look at Emma excitingly.

"Mother, when I woke up this morning, I start to remember a little bit. Not all memories have come back yet."

"That's good enough, as long as you remember your family….."Sofia had tears in her eyes and her voice starts cracking up.

"Wife, don't be like that, you'll scare Emma." Father Jing came over and tries to comfort her, he also gave Emma a bright smile.

"Come on, the food is ready. Emma, can you help us bring the food out to the dining room?" Father Ming gave Emma a pat on the shoulder while he asked Emma to help bring the food out. He then took a tray full of food and walked out and headed toward the dining room.

"That's right, let's eat first!" After saying that, Sofia grab Father Jing's on one arm and Father Sing on the other arm and quickly ran after Father Ming.

Emma stood there alone in the kitchen, unsure of what had just happened. It seems like this mother of her is an interesting person. She then picks up the remaining tray with food and follows after them to the dining room.

The Logi family is wealthy and lives in a big mansion, but there's no servants or maids here. Mother believes that a home is a place for family members only, so she doesn't like having any servants living in her home. Her three fathers also love to personally take care of her, so it really isn't a big deal. But the house is too big and it's too much work for three fathers alone, so they hired workers to come to clean and maintain the house every day for a few hours.

The breakfast we are having today is western style, that's because it's mother's favorite. My mother is a foreigner from the south-central region of the European Continent. If using the map from my other world, my mother can be considered as an Italian. My fathers are all born in this country so they are pure Chinese.

When my mother was younger, she came to this country with her family for business. The hotel they were staying in was owned by my three father's family at the time. Mother fell in love with the culture and traditions of this country and wouldn't go home. She also met my three fathers in the hotel that she was staying in. At the time, my fathers were still young, they were helping their family managing the hotel.

My mother slowly got to know the Zhang brothers while they were working in the hotel. The Zhang brothers seem to like my mother very much because she is very different than the other women in this country. Not only is her appearance looks different, but her personality is also very different. They approached her and asked her hands for marriage. My mother loves this country and wanted to stay here, so she didn't even think twice and accepted the marriage proposal.

But not everyone is happy about this marriage proposal. Sofia's parents were unhappy with her decision to marry someone from this country. This country is very far away from their own country and the Zhang family aren't as wealthy as them. Sofia didn't care, she was even willing to cut off all relation with her parents in order to marry the Zhang brothers and to stay here.

Due to her action, the Zhang brothers blame themselves for destroying Sofia's relationship with her parents. So they treat her extra well and would do anything for her, they even treat her better than a queen! After marrying the Zhang brother, Sofia never married more husbands. She said the three husbands she had has given her an unlimited amount of love. She doesn't need anyone else but them. They have been happily married to each other for 20 years now.

Emma has already reached the dining room and has sat down at the dining table. Just when she was about to start eating the food, she was stopped by her mother.

"Emma, why did you suddenly want to learn how to ride the horse that day? You have no idea how scared I was when I saw you fell off the horse." Asked Sofia while father Ming is pouring a cup of tea for her.

"I don't remember. I can't even remember how I got hurt in the first place. Can you tell me what had happened that day?" Emma looks curiously at her mother, she also wants to know how the original Emma has gotten hurt too.

"Umm….I don't really know either. But that day, one of the workers that are cleaning the house rushes in to look for me. He told me that you were trying to ride a horse but have a hard time getting on the horse. I knew you never rode a horse before so I got worried and ran out to look for you. When I got there, I only saw you barely hanging on the horse. Then you suddenly fell off the horse, my heart almost stops from seeing that. You landed head first to the ground so you head injury is more serious than the body." Sofia's face turned pale just from thinking of what happened that day.

Emma suddenly have flashes of memories of that day, she saw Emma Logi trying very hard to learn how to ride a horse but failed. She had a feeling she knows why she wanted to learn how to ride a horse so much. It was mentioned in that diary of hers.
