21 Chapter 21: FUCKING RAGE/Completely Calm

It had been a very boring couples of days since Masamune had went over to that silly elf Lord Ravvins house. While I had been patient and understanding of him desiring a job, I couldn't help but worry terribly. As much as he tried to hide it, it was very obvious that my darling Masamune wasn't terribly wordly. He was definitely smart, but the oddest little bits of common sense just seemed to be completely gone from him. Couple that with his amnesia and absurdly low level, and I couldn't help but be afraid that something would come and snatch him up.

I had just finished with 're-educating' some of the staff members. After Masamune left I made sure to have a very long talk with the maids about how they are expected to act in the manor of a proud noble family. To think that they could ever think badly of her darling husband! She simply wouldn't stand for it any longer. If Masamune wouldn't make a stand and defend himself, then I was more than happy to do so. "Don't you worry honey, the rats are all gone now!" I proudly declare to no one in particular. I do feel quite accomplished with being able to help him with this little problem. He asked for so little and was quite the caring husband.

I could feel my heart beat speed up when I felt for the piece of talk-paper shake against my hand. "He finally contacts us! I can't believe that lazy vagabond of mine kept me waiting this long!" With a barely contained smile on my face I hurriedly open the paper, and my heart drops like a stone. There in plain text, "Lots of work here, I may even end up teaching the lords kid some magic. Thankfully all these elf girls are really nice to me, one even offered to guard my door!".

I read it again, and again. "THOSE FUCKING ANIMALS" I howl at the top of my lungs rushing towards my room. "If those little rats want to take whats mine!" I trail off as I furiously stuff my bags full of everything I'm going to need. I"m sure that Masamune has no idea what those scheming elves are up to! Clearly they were going to try and steal him away, not just from her, but from the entire household! That CAN NOT happen! She pledged in her heart that she would move heaven and earth for this! A druid, such a noble existence could not fall into the hands of those greedy elves! Everyone knows that since the wizards left the elves had been on the decline, so know they just wanted to get their greedy little hooks into her man! Oh hell no!

Finally being fully packed I curtly told Cedric that I was heading off to see Lord Ravvin, and though he eyed my a bit before I left, but thankfully he didn't try and stop me. Poor sweet Cedric, I'm afraid the attempt may have killed him if he did.

**************************************MASAMUNE PERSPECTIVE***************************************

I sighed softly as I lay on the ground feeling the earth breathe in its own quiet way. Arith had been feeling the flow of nature for a while now, and it seemed the time was almost right for her to get a shot of pure druid mana. I closed my eyes and concentrated on the feeling of the earth. I suppose this would be easier if I used the traditional druid method, of simply being naked in nature, but that wasn't really an option for the time being. Getting up slowly I dust off my pants before walking over to Arith. She has a shockingly high degree of talent for feeling in tune with nature! It was pretty stunning to see her nearly call over earth elements without my intervention. I suspect that if I had just made them a grove this little lass would have been a druid before long regardless!

"Arith" She turns her beautiful clear eyes towards me and stares in wonder at me, "Can you feel it?" A simple, and vague question that could be interpreted a million ways, but for me and her there is only one true answer. "Yes, the Earth! It is soo..." Trailing off she looks for the words to express the majesty and power that is nature, but there are no words for this magical and mystical feeling. I nod softly at her and place my hand on her head. Her silky soft hair feels amazing in my fingers. It takes a lot more self control than I thought to resist grabbing a handful of those wonderful locks! I concentrate on myself and I can feel my inner forest. Focusing on the feeling I know that my power is able to well up inside of me and I will to. Forcing the energy from my soul a pure green drop of mana flows from my palm into her head. Then suddenly it's as if the world was complete. Ariths eyes spring open and she stares at me in shock and awe. Her own inner forest has begun, with the smallest little sapling imaginable. Though her tree's will be fundamentally different than mine, depending on strength, contract beats etc. The first tree to ever be planted in her warm fertile soil was mine! I can't help but feel a little proud that it was my hands that firmly planted a living being into her.

She looks at me after examining her burgeouning forest tears spilling down her face. "I..I can't beleive it! This is what I was missing this whole time!" She stares at me and before I have more than a second to react I'm pulled into her embrace. She kisses me forcefully and, sadly, I barely resist. The shock is what stops me from acting, not lust! At least...I don't think it was lust... I push her off me, but not before I hear something that I know will cause endless amounts of pain....

"Oh, Masamune! How good to see you here! How is work going!" Though the words sound pleasant Mayas tone is flat and dead. I can very nearly taste the rage in the air! Oh, yeah...that note I sent her.... "Hi honey!" I call out cheerfully, but her sullen gaze barely registers me. Her stare is dead set on Arith, who still is attempting to hold my fucking hand! I shake her off, but Maya can see my actions. 'Oh merciful god please kill me now!'

Maya stares at Arith and without missing a beat stomps her way over to me and forcefully pulls me into her embrace. I decide that holding back is probably going to get me hurt more, and I kiss my beautiful wife back passionately.

After our reunion ends Maya proudly proclaims. "Hello little girl! I'm Maya!" Oh! She sounds happy now! Oh thank god that is all it took. "I'm his wife." Those last words are said like a challenge. Even her stance looks like she's ready for battle.

I look at Arith praying as hard as I can that she doesn't say anything stupid. "Oh, hello Maya!" She says that cheerily enough, "Masamune was just forcing his woods into me!"

'oh go no'
