32 Dead ship

Quintin opened his eyes, he was still on the floor of his cabin, but it was dark, the lights were out, and that was unusual. He got up and went to his cabin door, Shi-sai and Katja weren't around, but there was something else bothering him, this silence, no hum of voices, no distant sound of music, Only the moaning noises of the steel ship in the water. He headed down the hall slowly, night vision helped him slightly, but his nose was the sense picking up something that was definitely off, that copper smell of blood, and alot of it, fresh, not like that stuck to Piet's Ratel.

"Hello?" He called, but was only answered by an echo. Quintin found the staircase and headed up, and there he found the first body, clawed to death, intestines spilled completely, he gagged holding down the vomit. A tingle of anger grew in him, he knew ot could only be Kishra, he followed the trail of bodies, getting angrier as he went, untill he entered the main casino hall, dead, all dead, every last person slaughtered mercilessly.

"Kishra!" He yelled not knowing why he would make himself noticed, he'd usually rather stay quiet, but this was un fucking acceptable.

"Kishra! You fucking bitch!"

"Im right here cat boy, no need to scream" She was sitting in the dark, drinking from a wine glass.

"You utter monster! Why have you done this!?"

"I told you what would happen if you didn't keep me entertained"

"I have no words for you anymore! I know i can't defeat you! But i swear! Even if it costs me my life! I will fucking try!" He roared and charged her.

"Hes getting angrier" Shi-sai said watching the clouds gather above the ship.

"I know, this is going to be exciting" Katja smiled.

In a flash Kishra was up, avoiding Quintin's flying kick which ended up destroying the chair she sat on, she took the contents of the glass and threw it into his face, it wasn't wine, Quintin recognized its smell and texture, blood.

"Now youre really pissing me off!" He yelled comming at her again, swinging, but she avoided every blow effortlessly, he swung and kicked but she caught his foot and swung him by it, throwing him into a poker table. Quintin could feel that red surfacing, his skin crawled with rage and the pain of the impact worsened it. Kishra was laughing at him, still her wicked smile never left her face, it pissed him off further.

"You want to know what happened to Nina, Naomi and Claire do you?" She asked halting his next attack.

"Cleopatra turned them into mummies, they will serve under her forever now, they cant be killed, and the curse will only lift when Cleopatra dies"

Quintin watched her bewildered, he couldn't get words out to insult her anymore, there was no words to compare her to what he actually thinks of her, all his mind registered was kill, kill, kill.

"You! And that bitch Cleopatra! I swear ill kill both of you, hear my words!" He roared, a roar, his voice not human anymore, with his tounge he felt the sharp fangs in his mouth, he remembered what Katja said, the anger will consume him, and he did say he won't allow it to happen, but here, now, he couldn't draw out any other emotion, rage had him and he tenced up, roaring from the deepest core of his being, a force left his body like a gust, knocking Kishra from her feet, tables chairs and dead bodies blew across the room, fur grew out of his arms, he saw it happen, the pain in his joints as he shifted to his saber form feuled his anger further, just as Naomi said it would, frustrated he viscously rubbed the contact lenses out of his eyes, and tore of the gloves from his hands, then with the same red visioned silver glowing eyes he looked upon Naomi, he now looked up at Kishra.

Katja happily clapped her hands watching the clouds now circling above, the first sighn of a building tornado "Hes going ape shit in there! I wanna go see!"

"No wait, we need to let him blow out, let him totally release that pent up rage, otherwise hell always be the wuss he is now" Shi-sai said, making Katja's ears drop.

"Don't worry Katja, this is something that needs to happen, if he has Caynine's power, he needs to learn how to use it, otherwise hell be nothing but cannon fodder"

Not fully transformed yet Quintin once again bolted at her, this time she couldn't avoid it but still blocked it and struck him so hard he flew back. Quintin was a ticking timebomb, the more Kishra faught him back the angrier he got, untill Quintin's human consciousness left him, and the Hellcat took over.

"He did it! Do you feel that!?" Katja said standing up, but Shi-sai had her black and white wing out, then took Katja under her arms and flew up with her.

"What are you doing!?"

"I think we better stand back, its about to get messy"

Controlled insanity, Kishra felt it, this beast stood infront of her, just as he stood watching her in Angola, only thistime, she felt the insanity like cold air in her face. It lifted its paw then waved down. Outside Katja and Shi-sai saw the tornado suddenly spike down towards the boat like a spear, the ship being steel rocked hard when the hit came, but the tornado grew in size and started spinning the ship in circles.

Kishra held on to a mounted table, she didn't know what was going on, wind started blowing through the ship, and soon a vacuum formed, sucking every loose lying object towards the doors, even the dead bodies. Kishra started laughing.

"Amazing! This is truly amazing!" She yelled and looked at Quintin "I hope you can understand me cat! Because i had a change of mind with you! I will make sure you never find Cleopatra! And in return ill make sure she never finds you! I want your power to grow even further than this! So one day i can make you into one of my own slaves!"

"Keep dreaming" Quintin's voice rasped at her.

"No force you posess can control me, i can sense it, youre only saying that to ease your mind over your defeat"

Kishra looked at him in anger "You severely underestimate me, i could kill you in a heart beat"

"Then come! Im waiting!" He roared again, but she only laughed.

"No no boy, i told you, you're way too much fun, ill leave you in piece for now, so dyont die when im away ok?"

"Are you going to see Senjin!!?" He said suddenly, her facial expression told him everything.

"How did you about him!?"

"That doesn't matter" he said and launched from his position, in his claws a torrent of wind spun creating static electricity then crackles of lighting erupted from his paw, he was now aiming to strike the claw into her, but her realm jump saved her, his claw struck the table behind where she was and destroyed it completely, angered at this he roared loudly again.

The tornado died down but the ship still slowly spun, Shi-sai descended to it and landed. Katja ran into the first open door she found.

"Careful Katja, hes not the pussycat you saw earlier" Shi-sai said following her, inside she found Katja watching Quintin in awe.

"Look at him! Hes standing on his hind legs!"

"I noticed, it seems odd"

"He looks so amazing!"

"Don't approach him yet Katja"

"Oh just relax Shi-sai, I'll handle this" she said getting out of her clothes, Katja's entire body was covered in the silver fur, but she shifted into her hellcat form. Standing on all fours like a normal cat, she was three times the size of a tiger, her saber like fangs not long, but jagged and sharp, she approached Quintin happily and brushed against him, giving through body language a sighn of friendship, but Quintin pushed her away growling. She playfully trotted away at the momentum of his push and walked around him, Quintin knew she wasn't an enemy, but he was still fueled with anger, and all he could think of was how to get to Kishra, still scanning the room for her. Katja then took a corpse lying around and brought it to him in her mouth, she jumped up and leaned against his shoulders, pushing the corpse against his jaws. The sudden smell of flesh and blood twisted his memory from Kishra to his hunger, he grabbed the corpse from her and pinned it to the ground eating.

"And there you have it" Katja said looking at Shi-sai.

"So its true what they say? The way to a man's heart truly is through his stomach" Shi-sai laughed.

"Not his heart! His mind! Even if he has Caynine's power he still isn't Caynine"

"Weren't you the one who drooled over how amazing he was a few seconds ago?"

"Shuddup!" Katja said embarrassed.

"No!" Quintin yelled flying upright "Again i find myself eating a fucking human! Blast it! Im not a cannibal!"

"No youre not, youre a predator, and predators eat meat" Katja said.

"Shush! I wont resort to this!" He turned around. Katja was astonished, hes back to his usual self, only in his cat form, she walked around to him, his face confirmed it, therr were eyes with a soul looking at her "How is this possable?" She asked him.

"What do you mean?"

"If i go enraged like you do i remain an animal until i eventually calm down after a few hours"

"I apparently gain my sanity back if im not hungry anymore" he said folding his arms looking away "And every fucking time someone stuffs a human into my mouth!"

Katja laughed "Ok, i cant get enough of this, Shi-sai, ive decided to stay with him, this is bound to get better over time"

Shi-sai shrugged " I was kind of wondering it would be a good idea, if you can train him to control the wind element, he might be a great asset the day we face Senjin" She walked over to them "This Koos you speak of, he is your ally right?"

Quintin nodded "Sort of"

"What skills does he have?"

Quintin chuckled "No special abilities, but he and his men are soldiers, and good ones"

"What kind of soldiers don't have special abilities?"

"Trust me, they have powerful weapons, i wont stand a chance against them if they use those weapons"

Shi-sai looked at Katja "Id like to speak to him then, if you and him are to help me in the future, id like to inform you of what you're up against"
