18 Brown hyena and the Alphas part 2

Nina stood by the lake watching out over it, she decided to be in her human form, to show respect towards the much larger and much stronger wolves. She even had a fire going, and was kooking a Kudu antelope on it for them to enjoy while theire here.

The first pickup to arrive was that of Michael and Dianne, some how she felt at ease having them here first, Michael being the strongest of the lot, he could be like her body guard, as Nina learned, they might be vicious werewolves, but their personality is more calm during the day.

"Welcome" She said in a soft whisper.

"Who are you?" Michael asked.

"Im Nina, the brown hyena that spoke to you the other day"

"Oh, whell aren't you cute" He smirked but Dianne elbowed him. Unlike Naledi who had short dark grey hair, Nina had long light to dark brown hair that ran all the way under her waist, it was even spiked back the way it is when she's a hyena. Her pupils hidden inside her very dark brown irises, and just like Naledi, her scin tanned dark from being in the African sun her whole life.

"Please, have a piece of meat" She offered him a knife.

"Whats this?"

"Kudu"

"Ha, then don't mind if i do" he said cutting off a chunk, then handing the knife to Dianne.

"So, whats this meeting all about?" He asked with a mouth full of food, Dianne elbowed him again "Show some respect you pig! She went through the trouble of preparing us food, swallow before you talk! Have manners!" Danne yelled, also with meat in her mouth, Nina only smiled, they were the perfect couple.

"If you don't mind, I'd like all the alphas to be here first, before i start" She softly said again, Michael nodded but a frown indicated his next question.

"Why do you talk so softly!?" And again, Dianne gave him her elbow.

"What!? it's true! Listen to her!"

"I said! you wil have respect for her! she was very brave approaching us the other day! any one of us could have killed her off!"

Michael snorted "Fine, im sorry Nina"

Nina replied with a smile again "Please excuse me, by nature brown hyenas are silent animals, its just in me not to be too loud" Michael nodded.

"Another thing Michael" Dianne said "If any of the other wolves threaten this girl, you rip their throats out, got it?"

Michael got a wicked smile "Yes mam"

The other alphas started arriving, all leering at eachother as they approached, Nina went through her routine and offered them meat as they came in, even having a knife for every alpha. They all ate in silence, then Nina cleared her throat.

"Please excuse me for talking this soft, i cant help it. If you misheard me, please ask me to repeat myself" She started and they all nodded.

"On the next moon, you will have to make a choice, as i said, Naledi's well numbered pack was wiped out by the SANDF a few nights ago, which means, without her focusing all her pack strength on the Anubis, the fight for you as wolves will be harder"

"How so?" Siegfried asked.

"This is something only us as Hyenas knew, Cleopatra's intentions from the start was to have all the packs together, she knew you'd all come to claim the Okavango Delta, with all of you together she could get you out of her way much easier"

Beowulf laughed loudly "You speak asif this Cleopatra will succeed at this!"

"You misjudge her Fenrir, her tactics have worked so far, Devonte, her male alpha has tricked all of you, holding the grunt of his pack away during each battle, he came at you every time with twenty wolves, but twenty more stood watching on the sidelines for opportunities to strike blindly, on top of that, the females of the pack arrived in Angola a while ago, twenty strong, with a newly awakened Amarok"

"Fuck!" Michael yelled.

"Why?" Claire asked "Why does she want us out of the way?"

"Because she seeks the rule she had over Egypt, but now over the world instead, and all that stands in her way, are you and your packs. Naledi, who knew from the beginning what Cleopatra was doing, didn't focus on fighting you, she focused on killing as much Anubis wolves s possible"

"Youre right" Beowulf said "Since the war started, not one of my pack members fell to a hyena"

"Same here" Siegfried said

"I thought they were all pussies" Michael said.

"Where is Naledi now? i would like to pay my condolences" Claire said.

"She fled Angola, with those who killed her pack off" Nina replied.

"Why would she do that?"

"She figured, if they could kill her pack off, then maybe they can help us in this war"

Beowulf grunted "I see why she would think it might work, i just dont see why everyone is making such a fuss about the SANDF"

"Hey!" Michael said "They killed off Naledi's pack! She had seventy maybe more members, give them the respect they deserve!"

"Currently the SANDF are standing alone against four armies, Swapo, Fapla, the cubans and the russians, and so far, they're winning" Nina said, silencing the group.

"How many soldiers killed off Naledi's pack?" Beowulf asked.

"Im not sure how many men, but judging from the tracks at the battlefield, only one vehicle was involved"

"One!? What? A tank!?"

"No, it had wheels"

"Wheels!? so it meant it was lightly armored, which means Naledi got careless" Beowulf spat.

"Again with the trash talk you Fenrir bastard!" Michael yelled.

"Enough! Let us hear what Nina has to say further!" Claire said surprisingly aggressive for her timmid nature "You told us we must make a choice?"

Nina nodded "On the next moon, as i said, the full brunt of the Anubis pack will be upon you, your chances off success are low, above that, even if my clan scouts Angola wide and far, they cant find the war wolves, and my fear is they will come aid the Anubis"

"War wolves!?" Michael asked.

"The second clan who ruled side by side with Cleopatra in north Africa. They are called the Wepwawets, or African golden wolves. Best known as war wolves due to the fact that they wear armor in their wolf forms and bare bladed weapons"

"This is bullshit! I've never heard of them!?" Beowulf yelled.

"Exactly, my fear is, they might come to Cleopatra's aid, so this is the choice you have, either stay and fight, facing dire consequences, or flee, allowing Cleopatra to be victorious, remember, this is the first time in history all the wolfpacks will be united, the only time your strengths together will be at it's greatest. Should you choose to flee, you and your pack will stand alone against Cleopatra one day, and i guarantee, she will come for you, and then, youll have no chance in hell"

The girls voice like ice, the alphas before her saw why they struggled to get atleast one brown hyena kill, despite the fact that they were the weakest, they see things with greater perspective, and through that weigh their options better. Beowulf was the first to respond

"My wife just fell pregnant" He said looking at Valkarie "Im sorry, for her sake im out"

"Fucking pussy!" Michael barked, but thistime Dianne came up for Beowulf.

"Michael! Typical black wolf! You would have done the same!"

Beowulf took Valkarie by her shoulders and left "Good luck, little hyena"

Next Siegfried stood forward "With the Fenrirs gone, id say the chances of success just went out the door, i really don't want to see world war three, but unless you can confirm to me that the SANDF will aid us in this clash, i cannot risk my pack"

Nina shook her head "Im sorry sir, i can't confirm that"

"Then that answers your question about me, im sorry brave little hyena, but im going to withdraw aswell... live to fight on better circumstances, if you know what i mean?" He said and Nina nodded.

Now with Siegfried gone, only Michael, Dianne and Claire stood by her.

"How strong is your pack Nina?" Claire asked.

"Twenty members"

"Oh, thats not too impressive im afraid"

"Even if we were seventy as Naledi's pack was, we're not fighters, were assassins, and that might sound great, but we'd only be commiting suicide if we attacked the Anubis by our selves" Nina said.

Claire was thinking to herself, then sighed "Ok brave one, I'll fight with you" She said comming over "But promise me, you'll only attack after the last of my clan has fallen"

"What!? Youre sacrificing yourself?"

"For the greater good Nina, all through history, sacrifices were made to secure freedom and safety"

"But!" Nina felt tears in her eyes, Claire only wiped them with her thumbs and kissed her forehead "Continue being brave little one, your bravery inspired me greatly"

"Oh for fuck sakes! typical fucking Del Carchetore! So mooshy it makes me want to puke! Just make sure you attack after my clan atleast withered them out a little! Got that!?' Michael yelled, Dianne wanted to punch him this time but halted at his last words.

Claire smiled and looked at Nina "There you have it, two packs along with yours, that ok?"

Nina trembled "I hope so"

Walking back to her vehicle Claire stopped at Michael and Dianne, she threw a seductive gaze at Michael, then shot it at Dianne "Keep him happy Dianne, or I'll take him from you"

"Pff! You wont survive a day with this asshole" Dianne laughed.

"See you guys at the battlefield" Claire said leaving the three behind.

Dianne glared at Michael, he saw this "What!?"

"Oh i saw the way you looked at her! i know shes much prettier than i am, you cant fool me duchbag!"

Michael laughed "Sure she's pretty, I'll admit, but i promise you, she's nowere wild enough for my taste" he said turning back to Nina.

"Ok little one, remember the deal, we strike first, then Claire, and only if you see you stand a chance of finishing the battle, do you enter, got it?"

Nina nodded "Yes sir"
