39 A Mission to War..

"Stop this at once!"

As this voice echoed through their ears, Julius, Dominic and their two elder brothers all stopped and even their auras subsiding.

Samael took a good look at the vice principal and to him, he was a talented individual. Though he was only in his late thirties, he still managed to achieved Spiritual Core realm despite his young age. No wonder he had his position...

"You all know the rules of the academy...but you youngsters still chose this pull this kind of stunt...Sigh, Follow me to my office!" The Principal said.

Samael squinted his eyes, he found it weird that the vice principal wasn't as angry as he thought he would be. Though he did understood that scolding a bunch of student out in the open will not be good for his image or of the academy.

Dominic's brother, Charles, supported his younger brother as they followed the Vice Principal.

Julian gently flown down to Julius and checked up on him, once he knew that Julius would be alright, he turned to Samael and said.

"Sorry, you had to be involve."

Samael folded his arms and said with an attitude "Humph, you said it. If it weren't for the fact that these kind of shits are entertaining, I wouldn't have intervened even if you begged me."

Julian laughed as he knows that Samael was only lightening the mood, after that helped his younger brother to stand and they followed after that Vice principal.

Once they reached the Vice Principal's office, he asked them what happened and there it was revealed how it all began. It was all because of Stella again. Stella was out in the plaza to enjoy some of the dishes while buying some goods and that was when Dominic asked her out again but she denied. Dominic continued pestering her till the situation reached Julius' ears and he finally intervened.

After some light exchange of words, things got heated up and it quickly developed to a fight, at which Julius already told Stella to go home. From there things happened the way it did, Samael arrived, beat eight of Dominic's men, elder brothers arriving then lastly, the principal.

"All this trouble...for a woman." The Principal sighed then he continued.

"I don't want to pry much into your private lives but do remember the academy's rules."

At the side, after hearing everything that happened, Julian laughed, holding his stomach. "...Ha-ha! Finally, my little brother has a woman he's interested in..took you long enough, little bro."

"She is not my woman!" Julius quickly retorted.

"Whatever you say, little bro. Hey, Samael, introduce to me this 'Stella' girl next time." Julian replied back.

Samael sighed seeing this two brothers banter "Sure, next time."

On the other side of the room, the Pierce brothers, Dominic and his elder brother Charles were slightly frowning seeing the happy faces of the people in front of them.

"Look at this people, talking as if this matter is settled. That girl doesn't belong to anyone yet but she will be my brother's, Dominic's woman."

Hearing, his elder brother's words, Dominic turned to him with his eyes burning with fanaticism.

"Brother..."

But Julian isn't going to take this lying down and he fired back. "Anyone can spit shit every once in a while but this is the first time i heard something so absurd."

Of course Samael is going to chime in "You can act all high and mighty but in the end, you have to successfully court Stella and to be honest...I don't like your chances."

"What did you say!" Dominic fired back.

"You got some problem?!" Samael glared at him.

The two side then began to bicker and their voices echoed within the Vice Principal's office, completely forgetting that he was in the room.

Bang!

Samael, Julius and Julian, along with the Pierce brothers nearly jumped in fright after hearing that but it did the trick as it shut them up.

"Youngsters are really getting more and more annoying as time goes by." The vice principal abruptly stood up. "You want to settle this fight? Then you got to do it by the academy's rules."

"You continue to say that vice principal but what do you have in mind?" Samael cut in.

Vice Principal Rafael turned to Samael and his eyes were turning sharp but in the end he sighed and took out a document from his table. "Here."

"What's this?" whether it be Julius' side or Dominic's they were both curious about what the Vice Principal gave them.

The document got passed over to them one after another but as it happened the Vice Principal spoke.

"Vanis the royal knight of the King, came to me this morning and gave me this report. The report says that both the Hundred River Empire's army and the Blue Forest Empire's army who both were passive till yesterday have suddenly began attacking the eastern and western front of the empire."

"And?" Samael pressed on.

The Vice Principal smiled a bit before continuing "Things would've been okay if it was just that, our army could've handled them but reports say that the two enemy army have a couple of cultivators within their forces. Scouts say that these cultivators have the cultivation of somewhere from 1-Star Spiritual root realm to 3-4 Star Spiritual Root realm."

As the Vice Principal finished speaking here, the document finally reached Samael. When he read the document he realized what the Vice Principal was planning.

Samael gently closed the document and he turned to the Vice Principal with an amused smile. The Vice Principal took note of this and then he heard Samael spoke.

"So...you want to send us separately into the eastern and western fronts to quell the fight or at least kill the enemy empire's cultivators."

"Exactly..." The vice principal was pleased and he continued. "Who ever settles the battlefield while obeying the army rules will be granted the right to command the loser."

Hearing the vice principal confirm his guess Samael smirked and muttered. "...Interesting." then he turned to Julius. "So, how about it, boy? Shall we go and see some blood?"

Seeing Samael's eyes slowly burning with desire, Julius sank into deep thought and then he answered back with determination. "A knight of the Clyde family doesn't back down from a fight!"

"Heh, that goes double for our Pierce Family!" Dominic quickly added.

The Vice principal smiled and said. "Very well, both party will be informed a day before the expedition. Mind you, that whether you get assigned to the eastern front or the western front will be revealed on the day itself. Now you are all dismissed!"

Bang!

Both party exited the Vice Principal's office, giving each other one final glance before going on their separate ways.

"Silvia should still be with Stella at my house, Sister Lina should be there as well so let's go there first."

The brothers didn't find this weird and nodded. These three men then walked and arrived at Samael's new house later.

"Big brother, you're back!" Immediately after walking inside the front door a little girl charged at Samael.

Samael smiled and ruffled the hair of this little girl before moving inside the house. The two Clyde brothers didn't found this to be weird as Samael has already informed them about Casey. When they entered the house not only did they find this cute little girl but they also saw three beautiful women, with one of them cuddling with a little white Lion Cub.

Silvia, Lina were both reassuring Stella that things were gonna be alright and to lighten up the mood Lina started talking about how funny and interesting Samael and Julian's first meeting were. This made the two girl laugh and allowed them to temporarily forget about the situation.

Seeing the three men enter the house, appearing to be alright except for Julius whose face was covered in dirt and a few scratches, Julian and Samael seemed to be alright.

"So how did it go?" Lina asked.

Julian was the first to answer "Yeah, about that, I'd like to thank you first, Lina, for informing the Vice principal."

Lina, who usually appeared to be calm and collected, now unusually blushed. "Oh, It's no big deal. Plus, before I even said a word I already saw the Vice Principal flying towards the forest, so I know things were going to be alright."

After Lina spoke, Samael quickly asked "The Vice Principal was already on the move?"

To which Lina answered with a nod. Samael then got all silent and he seemed to be in deep thought. But this was easily interrupted when Casey called out to him.

"Big brother, are you okay?"

Samael blinked a few times before smiling at the little girl and said. "Of course, Big brother is alright. Tell me, were you a good girl while big brother was not around?"

Hearing Samael's teasing question as if implying that she was a rowdy kid, Casey crossed her arms and pouted. "Of course I was, Big sister Lina even played with and checked my element."

Samael raised an eyebrow and turned to Lina, to which Princess Lina answered with a smile. "Yup, you'd be surprised. Casey's element...is the rare Light element!"

Princess Lina's words not only surprised Samael but also the Clyde brothers who were with him. Silvia and Stella were no longer surprised as they were here the whole time. The three men were stunned for a long time.

Samael turned to Casey and stared at her for a while as he muttered "Pure as the Sun...illuminating the darkness..."

Just from knowing her element and Casey's own personality, Samael already knew which Cultivation art was best for Casey but before he could impart this to her, he'd have to train her foundations first. But that is quest for another day.

He crouched down and smiled to Casey. "That's great! You really are full of surprises, Casey. Big brother will teach you a powerful cultivation art in the future but you have to train hard before you do, okay?"

Casey was immediately taken in by his words and excitement beamed from her eyes "Really?!"

Samael reassured her with a nod, from her attitude alone, he was sure that this little girl clearly remembers her promise to her late mother and has the determination to go through with it till the end. "Go play at the courtyard with Leo for now, Big brothers and sisters has some important things to talk about."

Casey nodded with a smile and ran to play with Leo on the court yard. "Okay! Come, Leo, let's play!"

"Meow~" The little cub happily replied and jumped out from Silvia's embraced and ran after the little girl.

Seeing the little girl and the lion cub ran outside, the adults left inside all had a smile. They gathered at the table and it was Princess Lina who broke the silence first.

"So what's this important thing you have to talk about?"

"This." Samael placed the document the Vice Principal gave them earlier.

The three men gave the women some time to read through the document and each one had a different expression after reading it. The last one to read the document was Stella and her expression was that of guilt.

Julian had already noticed this and placing his hand on her shoulder he said. "Don't worry, no one blames you."

Stella seemed to have her voice stuck inside her throat as tears slowly welled up in her eyes. "B-but..."

But all her worries and guilt were suddenly blown away when Julius spoke. "I-i don't blame you! Not at all...in fact, I wanted to help you. So please, stop blaming your self."

Stella slowly started to cry, releasing all he pent up emotion inside of her.

But not only did his words blown Stella's guilt away, it also blew the minds of everyone inside the room. Both Samael and Julian who were besides Julius, had a teasing, amused look on their face as they stared at Julius. While Lina had one hand on her mouth with the same teasing, amused look on her face. Silvia on the other hand, was surprised that her mouth was left open but you could see a tinge of redness on her cheeks.

Slowly, Julius noticed the strange atmosphere inside the room and then it dawned to him how misleading his words were. His face then turned red from embarrassment and he turned to the two men beside him, clutching his fist, screaming.

"I didn't mean it like that!"

"Right..." But both Samael and Julian had a unbelieving look on their faces as they continued to tease Julius.

Midway, Lina even chimed in and this made Julius even more embarrassed. They all had a good time teasing him that even Stella started to laugh despite the situation also concerning her. The warm and friendly atmosphere slowly brought these people closer than they ever imagined.

When the atmosphere died down, things got serious again and now it was Silvia who asked.

"About this mission..." But before she could finish, Julian spoke.

"We can bring ten people for this mission...we would also like you and Stella to come with us."

Silvia instantly answered "I'm in."

Stella also answered "I-i also want to go."

Hearing this, all three men smiled. Julian didn't ask Lina because she is already a given, since she was his fiancee and she would definitely pester him to let her join them so he might as well count her in already.

Then he said. "The Vice Principal said that someone will come to get us within a day or two, get ready till then. Let's just gather here when the time comes, is that good for you, Samael?"

Samael then nodded. "Sure, why not."

"Alright, let's go home and prepare."

With that, everyone slowly dispersed. Princess Lina went with Julian, helping his younger brother to recuperate. While Silvia had a bit of a hard time prying Leo out from Casey's grasp as the little girl was really fond of him, luckily, she and Samael managed to convince her that they will visit tomorrow so she can play with him.

Silvia left after bidding goodbye, Stella was supposed to go with her but after reaching Samael's door, she turned back and asked.

"Can I really get stronger?"

Samael surely didn't expect her to ask this but he didn't find this to be weird considering what happened was partly because of her.

"That solely depends on you, but me and the others will be here to help you."

Stella no longer spoke, hearing his reply but her eyes burned with determination as she bowed before leaving to catch up with Silvia.

Things definitely was full of surprises, the fight with Dominic and his men. The two brothers appearing and even the Vice Principal appearing. Then there was the mission, Casey's element being revealed and all six of them having a good time. But all in all, it was fun...

Samael went back in and saw Casey looking at him expectantly. He chuckled before saying.

"Alright, alright...I'll prepare dinner."
