Chapter 35

An hour later, they knocked on the door of the hunting ground guard's cabin.

Hagrid first shouted "who is it?" and when he got a response, he let them into the cabin, and then hurried back to close the door.

As soon as they came inside, they immediately found that all the curtains inside were tightly drawn. Although it was a warm sunny day today, the fireplace was still burning, and the heat in the cabin was almost suffocating.

As soon as Marca came in, she glanced into the burning charcoal pile under the fireplace. He had guessed that Hagrid had made the temperature so high that it was obviously hatching dragon eggs. Sure enough, a big black egg lay on the red charcoal, and there was an empty kettle hanging on the top.

Hagrid made them tea and brought them ferret sandwiches. The trio was not thinking about food at the moment, and they declined politely. Marca thanked Hagrid, picked up a piece and tasted it.

"So you have something to ask me?"

"Yes," said Harry, who felt there was no need to beat around the bush. "We don't know if you can tell us what mechanism guards the Sorcerer's stone besides Luwei?"

Hagrid frowned at them.

"Of course I can't say it," he said. "First, I don't know it myself. Second, you already know too much, so I won't tell you even if I know it. That stone makes sense here. It was almost stolen in Guling Pavilion... I guess you've made it clear? I don't understand how you even know about Luwei."

"Oh, Hagrid, you probably don't want to tell us? You must know. What happened here can escape your eyes." Hermione said in a sweet and flattering tone.

Hearing this somewhat frightening tone, Maka couldn't help recalling her sad experience of pleasing Ms. gray. He couldn't help raising his head and looked at Hagrid, who had a cocky beard, and Hermione, who pretended to be clever.

"In fact, we just want to know who designed those mechanisms," continued Hermione. "We want to know who Dumbledore believes can help him besides you."

At the last sentence, Hagrid raised his chest, and Harry and Ron smiled contentedly at Hermione.

"Well, it doesn't hurt to tell you. Let me see... He borrowed Luwei from me and asked some other teachers to do magic."

"Professor sprott, Professor flavy, Professor McGonagall -" he counted with his finger. "Professor Chilo... Of course, Dumbledore did his own magic. Wait a minute, I forgot someone... Oh, by the way, it's Professor Snape."

"Snape?" Harry said in surprise.

Maka swallowed the last sandwich in her mouth, patted the crumbs on her hands and said, "obviously, it's no surprise - except Professor Chilo, the other four are Dean. It's normal, isn't it?"

"Yeah - do you still doubt him, huh? Look, Snape helped protect the Sorcerer's stone, too. He won't steal it."

Marca looked at Harry and Ron with disbelief on their faces. He knew that Harry could only blame his father James for teaching Snape too much - which directly led to Harry being targeted by Snape.

"You're the only one who knows how to get through Rowe, don't you, Hagrid?" Harry asked eagerly. "You won't tell anyone, will you? Not even the teacher, will you?"

It seems that Harry may have got some news.

"Nobody wants to know except me and Dumbledore," Hagrid said proudly.

Harry couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. He couldn't help saying to Hagrid, "Hagrid, can we open a window? I'm hot."

"No, Harry, I'm sorry," answered Hagrid, glancing subconsciously at the fireplace.

Now, everyone obviously saw it.

"Where did you get it, Hagrid?" said Ron, squatting by the fire and looking at the big egg more carefully. "It must have cost you a lot of money!"

"I won," said Hagrid. "Last night, I was drinking in the village and playing cards with a stranger. To be honest, the man was probably eager to get rid of it."

"But what are you going to do when it hatches?" asked Hermione.

"Hagrid is obviously looking up information. Didn't you already know it in the library just now?" Marca smiled. "Hagrid, when this little guy hatches, remember to tell me at the first time."

"Oh, you like it too, don't you? Of course, I'll tell you." Hagrid continued with a happy smile. "I just checked. It's a Norwegian chirosaurus. It's very rare."

He looked very proud, but Hermione didn't think so. "Hagrid, don't forget you live in a wooden house."

But Hagrid didn't listen at all. He fiddled with the fire and hummed happily.

"But I have to say, Hagrid, you have to hide it," Maka suddenly changed her tone and said seriously. "You should know that it's illegal to raise dragons without permission."

He paused and saw that Hagrid didn't seem to care very much, so he continued: "the young dragon's body growth rate is very fast, and he will instinctively learn to fly very early. Have you figured out where to hide it? It can't be hidden in this cabin. I don't want to see you taken away with it, and I want to watch it grow up!"

Hagrid couldn't help feeling a little depressed. To tell the truth, he knew he couldn't keep it all the time.

"Ron, I remember your brother Charlie working in the fire dragon reserve in Romania?" Maka turned her head and asked.

"Oh yes, I think that's a good idea." Harry understood Marca's meaning. "Hagrid, Ron's brother Charlie is studying the fire dragon over there. There's a dragon farm there. He'll take care of it for you!"

"Oh - no, I can't bear this little guy." Hagrid wiped the corners of his eyes. "He hasn't even seen me."

Harry and others looked at each other and wanted to continue to persuade Hagrid, but Marca waved her hand.

"Before we contact Charlie, I think you can see it. After all, you hatch the eggs right, and it will break out of its shell soon." Marca smiled. "You can keep it for a while, I mean, before it breaks through your cabin."

"Yes, yes, I think it's not a bad idea." Hagrid looked at the dragon eggs in the fireplace as if he were looking at his children.

Not too long. One day at breakfast, owl MafA brought him a crumpled note with only a few words: it's coming out of the shell.

During the lunch break, Maka took something to eat from the table, took a big cloth bag and went to Hagrid's cabin.

"Here you are, Marca." Hagrid looked very excited and said hello with a red face. "You came a little late and missed the scene of its shell breaking out. But it doesn't matter. Now the little guy is more energetic and much more lively than when he just broke his shell."

Marka was eagerly pulled into the hut by Hagrid, and a thick black smoke with Mars came in front of her.

"The little guy's desire to attack is very strong! So, maybe it's a female dragon!" Maka took out her wand and waved it to remove the black smoke in front of her.

"Oh, but I think it's male. Look how handsome it is." Hagrid's eyes are like stars. It can be seen that he really likes these magical creatures full of power.

Maka didn't care about Hagrid's different views, because it was really difficult for the newborn dragon to judge the sex.

He nodded casually, looked at the little dragon standing next to the fireplace crawling around with his wings, and said thoughtfully: "the fire dragon is a creature that is difficult to tame. It is also very intelligent in adulthood, and the most important thing is that it has strong attack power."

Just then, he took a medicine bottle containing red viscous liquid from the cloth bag he brought and shook it in his hand. This bottle is not small. To be honest, it's really heavy in the robe.

"What is this? Dragon blood?" Hagrid asked.

"No, it's not," Maka shook her head. "It's made of the blood of the fire horn whale... Well, a tempting snack - at least for the Norwegian spine dragon."

"Yugadim Leviosa (note ①)."

Maka put the bottle on the table, pulled out the cork and recited a floating spell. She controlled a small ball of medicine with a faint red light to stop steadily at the tip of the stick.

Bruce Lee immediately smelled the smell. He stumbled over excitedly, grabbed Maka's legs and tried to jump up to reach the tempting food.

But Maka pressed it on the ground.

He looked up at Hagrid and said, "if its mother was a real dragon, she would do it. Hagrid, watch it."

After that, Maka swallowed the thick, hot and bloody liquid.

Suddenly, Bruce Lee struggled with chirping, but Maka pressed it firmly on the floor.

"The nutritional value of this thing is very high, but it's hard for humans to eat," Maka's face turned a little blue. "Moreover, it's really hot!"

Hagrid obviously understood Maka's intention. He nodded his head seriously, as if he wanted to remember all these steps.

When Bruce Lee slowly stops struggling and eagerly looks at Maka, he will keep pressing Bruce Lee's hand and relax a little.

"Try it, little guy." he made another small ball and controlled it to float to Bruce Lee's mouth.

"Hagrid, he has to come every day until he remembers the order of eating," Marca said. "If he can write it down before Charlie takes it, he will remember you all his life."

"Of course, it can only make it remember you. In fact, most species of dragons will live alone when they grow up and will not be too friendly to their mother. This is nature."

He saw these methods of training dragons in Ravenclaw's secret room. In addition to what he showed Hagrid, there are actually follow-up domestication methods, but those are not very humane, and he believes Hagrid won't like them.

"That's great! If Norbert remembers me, I'll thank you very much, Marca." Hagrid gave Marca a a big hug and almost choked him.
