Arth snapped his book shut. "We are going where again?"

"America," said Alice, handing over the letter to Arth. "Somewhere around the northern United States and southern Canada."

"Why?" Asked Arth as he took the letter from her hands and started to read. "Why on earth would we suddenly go to America?"

Alice shrugged. "A wedding. Apparently Dad has a brother in America who just got married. Dad also said that we will also do a little bit of sightseeing as well."

Arth gave a smirk. "Mom is gonna be so happy. She always wanted to go to America to see a flock of Ice Phoenix migrate to the north during the summer. You reckon we will be getting a younger sibling soon?"

".... I won't be surprised if we do. Two Galleons on that they won't? I need to get back that money I lost from that time on the train."

Arth smirked. "Sure, two galleons on a little sister or brother by the end of next year."

"Deal."

Arth and Alice shook hands before staring down at their plates in anticipation.

Soon, Dumbledore arrived and gave his final speech of the year.

"Another year gone!" Dumbledore said cheerfully. "And I must trouble you with an old man's wheezing waffle before we sink our teeth into our delicious feast. What a year it has been! Hopefully your heads are all a little fuller than they were... you have the whole summer ahead to get them nice and empty before next year starts.... Now, as I understand it, the house cup here needs awarding, and the points stand thus: In fourth place, Hufflepuff, with three hundred and ninty-six points; in third, Ravenclaw, with four hundred and thirty-two; Slytherin has four hundred and thirty-three and Gryffindor, five hundred and eighty- six."

A storm of cheering and stamping broke out from the Gryffindor table. James stood up and started furiously clapping which annoyed Alice to some point, causing her to give James a disdainful look.

"Yes, Yes, well done, Gryffindor," said Dumbledore. "Now hurry along and fill your empty stomaches, you will need a lot of energy for tomorrow when you leave for a long break."

In the morning, Arth received his exam grades and learned that he had received the top marks in their year, second being Lily and Third being Severus.

And magically, their wardrobes became empty, their trunks were packed. Notes were handed out to all students, warning them not to use magic over the holidays and the big man called Hagrid was there to take them down to the fleet of boats that sailed across the lake; they were boarding the Hogwarts Express; talking and laughing as the countryside became greener and tidier; eating Bettie Bott's Every Flavor Beans as they sped past Muggle towns; pulling off their wizard robes and putting on jackets and coats; pulling into platform nine and three-quarters at King's Cross Station.

It took quite a while for them all to get off the platform. A wizened old guard was up by the ticket barrier, letting them go through the gate in twos and threes so they didn't attract attention by all bursting out of a solid wall at once and alarming the Muggles.

Right in beside the train was his mom and dad, who waiting for Alice and Arth to arrive. Immediately, his father grabbed his hand while his mother grabbed Alice's. Arth gave his father a confused look who in turn gave a friendly shrug.

"Apparently the wedding is in two hours, received the owl late. No time to waste. I've already got the passports for international wizarding travel, all we need to go home and lightly pack our belongings and dress up. Ready?"

Arth gave a shrug while Alice nodded. Arth's dad and mom whipped out their wands and smiled at each other.

"On a count of three, we will apparate home. If you start to feel sick, then it's best to keep it in until we completely come to a stop."

"Three, two-"

"One!"

Two loud cracks frightened many people as Arth, Alice, and his parents disappeared into thin space.
