4 The Discovery 1.4
"Kakuya it's time."
A demon appears bowing down before me inside the barrier. He carried a sword upon his back. Unlike normal Shinigami's who are spirits, he had a body that was decaying like a corpse. He smelled of death.
"You called my master." He's eloquent way of speaking was ruined by the creepy sinister tone of his voice.
"Kakuya it's time to fight, keep your promise to me now. I order you to fight beside me."
"As you wish, I will follow you into battle AS always master." The demon bows before me still wearing that grin. His eyes gleaming red.
Focusing my energy I clasp my hands together and beads in prayer. I felt like I could fly; like I was light as air. I opened my eyes but I wasn't in my body I was a spirit manifestation. An enraged spirit energy being like the Shinigami before me. I could move like them. My body was cold I turned around and I saw my body focused and still. I had never used this spell in battle I didn't know what my limit was I had to hurry. All barriers were still in place, relieved that using my secret spell didn't destroy them I charge forward.
"Let's go Kakuya." My spirit soared into the sky surrounded by a scorching blue flame.
"mors falce metit" I called! Clapping my hands together and pulling them apart.
A scythe of per blue energy formed into my hands surrounded by flames. On it glowing were words engraved in Latin. I hadn't noticed befoe in practice next time maybe I will have time to look and learned what they said. I charged in to the mass group of Shinigami's I could feel the heat of the scythe in my hands as it sliced through the angered spirits sucking their souls into itself. It felt warm, I had a felt a strange desire for more as I kept slicing. You could hear the scythe cry in agony from the trapped souls. One after another came at me as I dodged their many attacks. Static ray launched missing off to my left , then electric orb launched down the middle, While I swung frantically atthe low grade shinigami that made attempts at biting into me. I bounced back. Looking and seeing in seconds how to maneuver around them. Kakuya attacked from the rear jumping around from one Shinigami to another, left and right, front and back, he drove his sword into their heads chuckling. His smile was menacing as he killed what he called an abomination. A jolt in my heart came, making me stagger. Was it time already, and there were still so many coming. Why is there so many. I wondered looking around. I could hear the fears of the people as they watched, horrified of me and the assault. I can't tell If their rooting for me or waiting for my death. But I knew I couldn't let them all die. I wanted to protect them and the soul of my master. Struggling I charged on thrusting my scythe through another monster. Another jolt came and it was getting harder to breath. Looking at my left shoulder I spotted a minor demon that looked like a leech had sunk their fangs into me above my heart. I can't breathe will I die in the end as well? I blasted an energy orb into the creature stuck to me. It dissolved into ash particles in my clutch. I could feel the pain from the wound in my soul started to grow. I refuse to die! Not until I save them all!
"I won't watch anyone else die ever again!" I shout out roaring like an angry lion.
"I CAN'T DIE YET!" My body began to pulse the energy increasing more.
"KAKUYA DUCK!" The demon vanished without a word at my command.
Sorry Kakuya The contract breaks here.
Clapping his hands together, the spiritual body became millions of particles pulsating what looked like a giant sound wave rippling from every direction, destroying all the Shinigami around. One after another they turned to ash.
"I swear I'll take them with me!" Mind still intact with the particles I manage one last declaration. My feel my voice fade away as the spiritual blue essence fell to the earth and faded away.
Jarret's body buckled falling onto the cold earth below. The monks gathered and looked upon the body in fear, in disgust, and with pain in their eyes.
"Is it dead" one of the monks said bluntly?
The brother's where in an uproar. They were making comments about Jarret who now lay motionless on the ground.
"You saw it didn't you?"
"His aura was like those demons!"
"Yeah and he controlled a demon."
"Doesn't that make him a demon?"
"That power is not of this world, he couldn't be human. This demon child fooled us all?"
"SHUT UP ALL OF YOU!" The medic monk that Jarret had try to reassure was shouting holding his fists tight together. "You're all cowards. Afraid of what you don't know. He saved my life and all of yours and yet you call him a demon!" The medic monk with red hair, was carrying a medicine satchel that had gold thread. He stepped forward from among the brothers as they mumbled. He was angered from their reaction and from his own when he first saw Jarret. The man gently placing his hands under Jarrets' neck and under his knee caps and lifted him up. The medic held the boy as hard as he could against his strong firm chest and ran off toward the monastery. Busting through the door, he mutters only a few words as he passed the head masters; "It's safe now, thank the boy." The church was silent with shock. Alastar ran off down a spiral staircase to the lower chambers. Laying Jarret on the bed he got to work.
"You saved my life kid, I'll save yours." Alastar mumbled as he began to remove the robs.

"Master where are you?" I'm all alone, and it's dark.
"Jarret you broke your promise to me, I'm disappointed. I died protecting it, and for what?" A man's voice echoed
"No please, don't leave me; I had to help, please say something." I called out.
What's this wet feeling? No I can't cry; master will leave me if I cry. The tears won't stop. No Please Stop! Desperately I try to wipe away the tears.
"You promised me, and instead you ran away killing yourself. You forgot your life belongs to me." This time a vial crackling voice echoed in the dark.
"Who's there?" I called out.
"That raspy voice sounds familiar, but I can't see you. Kakuya?"
"You promised, and you let me down. I was to help you; in turn you help me; we're disappointed in you. Guess we were wrong about you. You weren't the one after all." The voices echoed together now.
"We don't need you anymore; everyone will disappear from your side very soon." They laughed mockingly together.
"NO! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE!" Jumping up in bed I felt the stinging light in my eyes. I was covered in sweat.
"That's a hell of a way for you to wake up. I've never seen someone wake up screaming out from a dream, but I'm guessing with that battle you just fought, it's not that surprising little miss." A man standing in the corner of the room called out to me.
Wait did I just hear him right?
