1405 You were there that nigh

“I thought we were going to talk about this… after your competition?” Mo Liuxi stuttered sheepishly.

“Yeah, but since it came up in conversation today, I just want to know something,” Yan Su said in a low voice. “You haven’t thought about what to say, have you? Or were you just lying to me when you told me that you were drunk?”

“Of course not,” Mo Liuxi replied. “I had too much to drink that day when I woke up. She was just lying there next to me.”

Yan Su’s heart sank. Was he that unlucky to have that happen to him twice?

If it was true, he might be too easy. Although she did it once also, she was still sour about it. “Can you tell me then, when did it happen?”

“Why do you want the details?” Mo Liuxi was frustrated. “Anyway, it didn’t happen when we were together. If you have to ask me for an exact date, I think… it was not long after my sister got married. You were around that night as well.”

“I was there too?” Yan Su felt as if she was struck by lightning.

Although the two of them were from the same school, they rarely saw each other outside, not to mention drinks, except for that night they spent together.

“No, I’m just thinking about something.” Yan Su rubbed her head. “Can you tell me more about that night? Did you do it with An Ning when you woke up in the morning?”

“I don’t want to talk about that night anymore.” Mo Liuxi didn’t want to say that he enjoyed himself that night. “Of course, I didn’t do anything with An Ning in the morning, I nearly went crazy when I woke up. If not for my strong emotions, I might have ended up in the hospital from shock. But… I always felt as if it wasn’t her that night; it wasn’t her that I slept with… But she kept insisting that it was her first time that night and she would cry and cry. I felt bad whenever she sobbed, although I hated her, I still felt as if I had to take some responsibility. After a while, I realized that our personalities were drastically incompatible and she was a pathological liar. She always had to take things to the extreme.”

“Oh my God,” Yan Su was muttering.

“Right, oh my God.” Mo Liuxi sighed. “I don’t know what rotten luck I had to meet someone like An Ning.”

“Yeah…”

By now, Yan Su pieced together most of what had happened that night. She wondered if Mo Liuxi would want to murder her if he found out the truth about that night.
