Li Yu Yan: "Who could have done this?!"

Li Yu Yan was enraged that the perfect image she spent years portraying was shattered by this one article.

What would everyone think of her?!

Li Yu Yan also hated the fact that she was now absolutely tied to Chen Wei.

The only reason she even spent time getting close to Chen Wei was because he was Li Xiuying's fiancé. Of course It helped that he was good looking and successful. Furthermore, his family was respectable and were continuing to gain a good reputation within the social circles. But why would she want to put all her eggs in one basket?

She liked Chen Wei to an extent, but there were so many men out there who were better like He Minzhe, Shen Qiu or any of the Qin men. They had looks, intelligence, ambition but more importantly they had a 100 years of prestige and money, lots and lots of money. If she could get anyone of these men; she would be the envy of all women. She was sure she could entice any man to fall under her charms, after all Chen Wei fell for her so easily.

Chen Wei to her was only a means to hurt Li Xiuying.

Why should Li Xiuying have it all?

Li Yu Yan spent years watching Li Xiuying being adored by the medical community and the masses, Li Xiuying received countless prizes, awards and accolades over the years.

Whilst she was struggling to even get in to medical school.

Why does that B**** deserve it all?

Li Yu Yan threw around her duvet and pillows and took her anger out on her bed.

Her hair was in a mess, her face was red due to physical exertion and anger, her clothes were a little messy. She stopped punching her bed as an idea came to her.

Li Xiuying should fix this!

Li Yu Yan's idea was simple. She would persuade Li Xiuying to make an announcement that the article was just a hoax and that Li Xiuying is in fact happily engaged to Chen Wei. Li Xiuying could say that the photo was actually taken at a group gathering and was just captured in a way that made it look like there was more to the relationship between her and Chen Wei.

Li Yu Yan got up off the floor and ran to Li Xiuying's bedroom. She wanted to pull open the door and shed a few tears in front of Li Xiuying about the situation.

Li Xiuying had never gone against my wishes in the past, especially when I cried a little.

But as Li Yu Yan went to pull the door handle, she found the door wouldn't budge, it was locked.

She started banging on the door and shouting: "Xiuying, its Big sister, I need your help! Xiuying, Big sister is being taken advantage of. Little Xiuying, did you hear me? Xiuying, Xiuying!"

Li Yu Yan kept banging on the door and her voice was getting louder and louder.

Li Wang, Li Mei Wu and Li Na and some staff rushed up the stairs when they heard Li Yu Yan shouting.

Li Mei Wu rushed over to Li Yu Yan and grabbed her by the shoulders.

Li Mei Wu took in the disordered state of her daughter: "Yu Yan, what are you doing right now? What's the matter?"

Li Yu Yan replied in her sickly sweet voice which contained a trace of hurt and exhaustion: "Mommy, I wanted to ask Li Xiuying to help. If she just explains to everyone that the article is just someone playing a cruel joke and that she and Chen Wei are still happily engaged, then everything would be resolved."

The wheels in Li Mei Wu and Li Wang's head started turning. They knew their daughter well so they immediately caught on to meaning; Let Li Xiuying take the fall!

Li Mei Wu stroked her daughter's hair and comforted her: "My little darling is absolutely right, Li Xiuying will be able to fix the whole situation, and she wouldn't let her big sister suffer like this."

Li Mei Wu started banging on Li Xiuying's bedroom door. "Li Xiuying, open this door right now and sort out this mess!"

Li Wang voice took on a gentle tone: "Xiuying, my dear niece uncle just wants to have a little discussion with you. We need your help, could you please open the door?"

Li Wang always liked to play the doting uncle card whenever he wanted LI Xiuying to do his bidding.

There was no response.

Li Wang turned to his butler: "Go get the key for Li Xiuying's door." The butler quickly dashed towards Li Wang's study.

Li Wang felt a sense of dread.

Something's not right, Li Xiuying always answers to me.

The butler rushed back with a set of keys. Li Wang snatched them from his hand and opened Li Xiuying's bedroom door. They all rushed into to find an empty room.

Li Wang: "Na go check the bathroom."

Li Na: "It's empty."

Li Wang exploded: "Where the hell is she?!"

The tracking device had shown that she was in her room and hadn't left since Tuesday.

Li Mei Wu, Li Yu Yan and Li Na had never seen Li Wang so angry. They quietly stood off to the side.

They watched as Li Wang turned the room upside down. Opening draws and checking shelves.

Li Wang pulled opened the draws to Li Xiuying's desk and stood still when he found her phone.

He picked it up and saw it was turned off. He clenched his fists.

Li Wang howled: "Li Xiuying!!!!"
