18 Seventeen

The princess husband is acting a lot more weirder than usual.

At normal circumtances the servants know that their master would refuse to be on the same table with his wife every meal but for the past few days the fourth prince himself was the one who's inviting their highness.

At past , the master even hated everytime the princess showed her face infront of him so he ordered her to wear a veil or any thing that would hide her face.

Even the king who's fully aware of the relationship between the two was left in hazy state after seeing them one time. Indeed, instead of being happy for that rare occasion all they've felt is guilt and worries for the princess.

Because if that wrenched to the core man is being nice to others than himself, especially to Princess Snow there's only one explanation.

The original wife is missing or worst dead.

The people living in the palace is not dumb. Or most likely they are not deaf to not hear that statement Prince Shun's claimed years ago upon the presence of the royal family and trusted servants.

"I have a wife and due to unfornate events,we're expecting soon. I only wanted to marry your daughter because she has a healthy set of body organs" He said lazily without blinking an eye.

Up until now, they remembered how the king and prince's almost puke blood after hearing his reason for marrying the only girl in their noble bloodline.

"And I needed a facade to help me to protect my little wife from the hands of those people that would soon become my enemies"

"Also her body is adequate enough to be compared to that stupid girl"

That night, the princess fell into a high fever and Prince's Shun denied their pleadings to cure her.

The only princess of the proud kingdom of Qui almost vomit the food she just chew after hearing that two words the man infront of her said.

Indeed, after being engaged to him for years she managed to grasp the personality of this man in every worst possible case.

She remembered the first time she saw Shun in the medicine room of her second brother silently concuting medicine. The boy is only older than her for 5 years but the aura his giving is too proud just like her emperor father.

And being a naive and idiot young girl, she fall in love with him at that day and begged her father to let them be married.

But the emperor refused not because of Shun's status but due to her age. He wanted the princess to enjoy her youth while it lasted but because of her stubborness she atleast managed to get them engaged.

Shun at twenty was not pleased at the emperial decree given to him. That night, atleast hundreds of citizen caught a mysterious illness that caused a chaos in the kingdom.

Prince Mivo's the only one who managed to cure that illness but it took atleast five days to discovered the antidote needed. They remained silent, but those who knows of Shun's expertise probably has an idea who was the culprit of that incident.

Snow stopped chewing her food after she remembered every evil doings the man she loved once did. Shaking, she looked at the food infront of her and immediately felt sick.

Who knows! maybe the food she's eating for the past meals has been added by slow acting poison that would torture her for years!

Ai! If she has the ability to reverse the clock, Snow would bashed the head of her younger self before she begged at her imperial father concerning this absolute mess she insist to happen.
