24 Another one joins the group

Looking at her for a while longer, Kayden finally realised who she was. Out of all the people in his class, the person in front of him was the person he least expected to meet at this time.

"What are you doing here" she asks him.

"Hey Mia, i should be asking you what your doing out so late?" said Kayden with a caring in his voice.

Mia was also a classmate of Kayden's in school. Although she didn't get noticed much because she wanted to be quite low key in the class, a lot of the boys noticed that she had a good figure with ample breasts and wide hips to compliment. gathering a bit of a fan base she also started getting more sensitive towards people and started hiding more with baggy cloths. Even with the baggy tops, they could still see her two mountains well.

Hesitating, she slowly lifted her hood for her head revealing her bright red hair and Iris. Looking at Kayden, she made a weird face.

"What is it?" said Kayden with a smile. His relationship with Mia was quite good. Although she didnt like males that much, she opened up to Kayden a bit due to them having some similarities.

"Why do i look like this, it seems like ive been cursed? You don't you hate my appearance?"

"..." Without saying anything, Kayden walked up to her and said "Lets get something to eat and ill explain whats going on."

Nodding shyly, she followed Kayden to the local shop. While walking, they both looked around and saw a few people walking around with distressed faces. They also had different appearences, such as different colour hair or eyes. Knowing whats going on, Kayden could only look and observe without interfering that much. However, to cause less destruction from this incident, he would personally inform everyone that their powers are a gift from the heavens.

Arriving at the local store, he and Mia walked in and looked for something to eat. Walking towards the savoury aisle, Kayden noticed that she had split of and walked into the sweet section.

silently shaking his head, he picked up a pre-made beef pastry and headed towards Mia. Sensing someone was next to her, she quickly turned and saw Kayden staring at her. surprised, she quickly looked down with a red face.

"Don't worry just choose something and ill pay" saying this, she nodded and looked at the selection of sweets. Finally finding what she wanted, she looked up at Kayden who was still staring at her with a smile.

Embarrassed, still she quickly said something with a low tone. "S-Stop staring, its embaressing"

Without changing his expression, he said "Ok, ok, il stop. Ok give me it and il pay" Looking back at her, she seemed to be hesitating.

"Whats wrong?" he asked.

"O-Oh nothing, i just feel bad for wasting your money. Why don't you let me pay?"

Without hesitating, he quickly interrupted. "Don't be absurd, i invited you so i should pay"

Without any comeback, she hesitated and handed the packet of chocolate to him. Smiling back, he went to the counter with her and paid for the two items. exiting the store, they both sat on the floor next to the store.

Opening the packet of chocolate, she seemed very happy as she picked a piece and put it in her mouth. Looking at the pale face of hers, Kayden couldn't help but sigh and think "Shes quite beautiful, shame she doesn't like to expose that much."

using women's institution, she looked at Kayden with a weird face and said "What are you thinking about?" with a harsh tone. Scaring him a little, he quickly denied and said "Well don't worry about that, you said you wanted to know whats going on right?" he said with a mysterious smile.

"Yes! i want to know whats going on!" she exclaimed.

"Ok, calm down. i cant explain it all but i will tell you what i can."

"In the past few years, the heavens have been looking at us with expecting eyes. On this day, we have received a gift form the heavens which allow us to move forward into the future and with the technology getting better, it only helps more."

Listening intently, she was perplexed by what was happening. The heavens giving us gifts? Changing hair colour and other things? Giving us elemental powers and other unusual gifts?

"That's basically all im aloud to say, until we get further into the future i will not disclose any more on what is happening."

Understating his intentions, she nodded and stood up. He also stood up and said "Well why are you out at this time?"

"W-Well, that's because of this." pointing towards her red Iris and hair.

"My parents are very religious and thought the devil cursed me and was going to send my soul to hell when i die, so they banished me from the home until i get this sorted" She said begging to get teary eyed.

counselling her, he said "Don't worry, we will get it sorted in the morning, why don't you come with me"

Suddenly, before he could say anything, a faint white light begun to form above Mia. Although she could see it, she felt something wasn't right?

"What are you staring at? she said, looking up at nothing.

Before he could speak, the white light formed into a white feather and landed on her shoulder. Knowing what this meant, he said to Mia.

"If you don't have anywhere to stay, you can stay at mine temporarily?" he said without hesitation. Looking at her, he noticed that it started to become hotter due tot he formation of new cells and changing blood from mortal blood to angelic blood. "kayden, whats happening?" she said faintly before falling unconscious.

Falling into Kayden's arms, he simply smiled and picked her up in his arms and carried her back.

On the way back there were a few adults who came home late from bars and clubs who were walking back to their homes. Upon noticing the white jumper which stood on in the dark, they looked over and saw a beautiful silver haired boy carrying a sexy looking red headed girl in his arms.

Drunk, one of the younger looking guys couldn't help saying. "Look at her body, she had some nice curves on top and bottom if you know what i mean. heheheh" listening to him, the other peoples around him agreed and said "Who is the person carrying her, is it her boyfriend or something?"

Around 15 meters away from them, Kayden could easily her what they were saying. Not paying any heed to they comments, he simply walked on. If Mia heard what they were saying, she would of instantly hide in her jumper with a bright red face.

"Look at the boy, he doesn't even look that good" Declared the bold looking person with a leather jacket on. Hearing this, the other 3 members of the group could not stop from laughing due to the comment he made.

Easily angered he blurted out, "You'll see, ill get that girl right now from that puny boy." Walking of with any angry expression, he finally caught up with the silver haired boy.
