23 Familiar?

After discussing the terms for selling the product in the next few weeks. Mr Townsend decided that Kayden would get 10% of all the money made. He had no objections due to the Techcore's team doing most of the work. Saying good bye to Mr Townsend and Emily, he walks out the door and instantly disappeared.

Looking at the door, Mr Townsend looks back at his daughter. "Just who is he" Sighing, he turned around and started packing up.

Reappearing in his room, Kayden looked at his clock which read 9:30 PM. As it was still quite early he decided to play some games. Switching his computer on, he contacted Levi and Ryu to see if they were on. After confirming what they would play, they got into a voice call and chatted for a little bit.

One major topic they discussed was of course that weird power people under 18 suddenly possessed. The one ti start the conversation was Levi.

"Hey guys, ive been feeling a bit weird for a while. Some weird, i guess you could call it, energy is circulating around my body, it feels like i have super powers" awkwardly laughing at the end of the sentence, Ryu also said something

"I was about to bring it up, but i think i have the same thing, what about you Kayden?" Saying this, they both were eagerly waiting for a answer.

"Before i answer what happened when you awakened this 'power'" When kayden said this, they both thought back to what happened.

The first one to answer was Levi. "When i woke up, i started feeling funny so i stood up. Suddenly, a small earthquake appeared under my feet."

'Earth element, quite rare' thought Kayden.

Next to answer was Ryu. "I was acctually in my room, watching TubeYou videos when i also felt funny. Suddenly the strange energy inside ruptured and a dark cloud engulfed my whole room" saying this, he looked back at it and it seemed quite cool.

'Darkness element, very rare'

After a brief moment of silence, Ryu added "So, what about you Kayden". Stunned, he quickly answered "I was actually asleep but i felt like i was hit by multiple lightning bolts. So i belive it my power might be something to do with lightning." trying to cover the truth.

"I also wanted to know if any changes to your body occurred" Levi adds "my eyes turned brown when the energy appeared. I used to have bright blue but they have gotten darker. My hair also changed, form my light brown hair, it changed to dark brown. It's really weird, it feels like i dyed it but haven't."

"What about you guys?" Levi adds

"My hair colour changed, but my eyes stayed the same."

"What colour" Ryu said. "White..." saying this Levi and Ryu both keep quite for a second.

In unison they both say "Have you been stressing yourself too much lately?"

"You know, theres something called Marie Antoinette syndrome, under stress it can turn your hair white?"

Without waiting, Kayden quickly says "Your wrong i haven't been stressed, but its true that my hair changed its colour"

Laughing, they both said it was just a joke and played a few games until 11 PM. Both logging off, Kayden had nothing to. As he doesn't need to sleep, he went down stairs to grab something to eat. Opening the fridge door, all he could see was a half eaten pizza and a quarter filled bottle of milk.

Sighing, he closed the fridge door and decided to go to to the local shop at the end of his street. Putting a white jumper on, he casually strode out the house; closing the door behind him.

Walking to the shop, Kayden noticed that he was going faster that normal. Just because it was easier, he said "stats" in his head and light blue screen popped up in front of him.

'hmm, my stats have gone up because of the elemental atoms i accidentally added into the atmosphere. The objective was to get people to planet Hope and let them inhale it to gain elemental abilities but it cant be helped ill just leave it as it is'

looking back up, he could see a black hooded person walking towards him at a reasonable pace. Frowning, Kayden gets a better look at the person walking towards him.

"they seem kind of familiar?" thinking of this, the person in the black hoodie looks up to reveal a pale skinned young girl with completely red hair and a blood red Iris.

Kayden, if you haven't been keeping up with the story, has a special appearance. Golden eyes and white hair. Anybody would notice he had a weird look.

The girl looks at him with a weird expression, "Kayden?"
