22 New Product!

After looking a bit more at the writing on the middle 2 pages, Mr Townsend closed the book with a complex expression. Looking back at his own book, he started to think about many things.

Coming out of the daze, he look at Kayden and asked "I don't understand any of it, do you?"

"I thought you might say that. However, i am not aloud to say what it is."

"What do you mean" said Mr Townsend unwillingly.

"The text is about the future, and it describes what will happen to the people of earth. All im aloud to say is that we are heading in the right direction"

"oh, ok" seeming a bit more relived, Mr Townsend stands up and looks at Emily and askes "What happened?"

Flustered, Emily quickly replies "I don't know, when i woke up the room was covered in ice. I also feel some sort of energy inside me, i cant explain what it is." Thinking about it, Emily couldn't help but think about Kayden.

"Looking at your faces, you expect something out of me." Kayden says with a smile on his face.

Turning to look at Emily, he begins to speak "Emily, listen to what i have to say. The energy inside you is the reason why your room got turned into ice. your hair also changed because it." saying this, Emily's expression turned more complicated.

"Hold your hand out for me" said Kayden stretching his hand out to grab Emily's hand. Grabbing her hand, Emily's face became red.

"Ok, try manipulating that energy into your hand"

Emily nodded and proceeded to do so. Closing her eyes, she saw a ball of cold energy in her mind. Dragging it down into her hand, the room begun to get colder. After 30 seconds, Emily opened her eyes and saw a tennis ball of ice floating in the palm of her hand. Startled, she quickly looked at Kayden who was staring at her with a smile.

On the other hand, Mr Townsend was staring at his daughter with a wide mouth. Dumbfounded, he turned to Kayden and asked "how do you know all of this?"

Looking back at him, Kayden holds out his hand and manipulates the same kind of energy. Suddenly, all across his arm, purple streaks of lightning could be seen flicking with powerful energy exerting from it.

Without waiting for Mr Townsend to reply, Kayden said "I have the same things as your daughter" Looking indifferent, he turns to Mt Townsend and asks "In the next 12 hours, there will be millions of people under the age of 18 who will get so called powers like Emily's and mine"

"Why just 18 and under?" say Mr Townsend

"Even i don't know the answer" Kayden says back "all i know that it might be something to do with the habitual planet they discovered. Its in the Proxima Centauri system"

"Oh that planet" Mt Townsend says with an indifferent tone.

After helping Emily get more used to her 'power', Kayden decided to consult Mr Townsend with something. As people got used to their 'power' they would want a way to measure their strength, this is when Kayden had the bright idea to create a device to measure the energy inside the people who have the 'power'. Mr Townsend was also on the same page as him so they got to work straight away.

At 9.00 PM a team of 10 people including Kayden and Mt Townsend were in a lab at Techcore standing around a table with a tablet sized product laying on it. This product is exactly what Mr Townsend had thought about.

"May i test it" saying this, the people in the lab all turn to look at Kayden with expecting eyes.

giving a nod, Mr Townsend looks at Kayden while he walks up to the table to pick it up. Looking at it, it seems to be a normal tablet that have been on sale for a very long time.

Picking it up and pressing on the screen, it turns on to show a outline of a hand print.

[Hello, please press your hand on the outline]

When it said that, Kayden put his hands inline with the hand outline.

[Thank you, now please manipulate your energy into your hand]

[When doing so there will be a set of scores at the end of the test]

[The test results will follow a slimier patter to grades in schools. The test grades shall be (From weakest to most powerful) F, E, D, C, B ,A, S, SS, SSS]

[There will also be numbers included. They will be the test scores that are in between scores such as A (4.3) ]

After the messages had gone, Kayden proceed to poor his energy into the device.

"Hmm seems like it works, ill call Emily to try it" after Mr Townsend said that, Emily came in to the lab with excited eyes. Looking around, he gaze landed on the testing device in Kayden's hands.

She walked over to him and looked at the testing device with amazed eyes. seeing this, Kayden handed the device to Emily to try.

When it turned on it showed the same messages so Emily can understand what will happen. After the messages went away, she then proceeded to place her hand on the device. Manipulating the energy to her hand the device started to calculate.

[Thank you, please lift your hand]

obeying the command Emily lifts her hand off.

When seeing this, Emily became interested so she tapped yes.
