20 Media Outrage?

Now that Kayden had finished what he needed to do, 4 days remained of his holiday. Over the past few days, he had basically set out his whole future. Securing a Job when he turns 18, pockets full of money and the world at his finger tips (Literally).

...Thursday...

In his bedroom, Kayden was sitting at his desk playing a FPS. During a match, he got a phone call form one of his friends. As he picked up his phone, he saw the name 'Levi'. Taking of his headphones, he picked up the phone call.

"Hey, have you checked the news lately? well there is a interesting thread you might want to read" said Levi with slight smile.

"What do you mean" Kayden replied.

"Just look at it, i wont spoil it for you" as Levi had said that, he hung up.

Having no idea what just had happened, he grabbed his phone of the desk and unlocked it. looking at the screen he could see that he had over 10 unread messages. Confused he tapped the news app and waited for it to updated with the newest news. As it loaded, Kyaden could see a picture at the top of the news page.

Tapping on it, it wrote.

"MAJOR, THE PRINCESS OF TECHCORE HAS A BOYFRIEND?!"

"In the afternoon, on a Wednesday. The princess of Techcore could be seen with a man holding hands..."

Looking at the writing, Kayden suddenly remembered that he had heard a camera going off when the exited the shopping mall. At the time, he didn't pay much attention too it because he thought it was someone taking a picture of the artwork near where they were walking. Next, looking at he picture, he could see a girl dragging a boy out the mall with her. Although the camera was facing the back of them, people could easily make out Emily due to her high status. But, the boy with the light brown hair could be anyone.

Looking at the picture, he looked quite humble. Not annoyed but with a blank stare. On the other hand, Emily was in her room under her bed sheets with a red face. She had no idea this had happened while they were out yesterday. In the same building, a man in his office had a big smile.

Back in Kayden's room, he had just got off the app and looked at all the messages. All except one message was from the group chat he had joined at the beginning of the school. Before tapping the group he checked out the other message he had got. The message was from another friend of his, Ryu.

"Wanna meet up with me and Levi at the weekend?"

looking at it quickly, he waited to reply to him until he had smoothed out the current situation. He went back and clicked on the group chat. At that moment it was very lively, nearly everyone in his class was talking about him and Emily. Looking at all the messages go by, he had a dumbfounded expression on him. "Really, is it that big that i went out with Emily for a day?" Kayden thought to himself.

Suddenly, a member of the group chat noticed him online and said "The man of the hour, how was your date with Emily?" When he said that other people caught on and said other similar things. After 30 seconds of spamming, it finally calmed down and Kayden finally wrote something.

"..." That was all he wrote, nothing else.

Even his friends, Levi and Ryu were talking in the chat room and laughing about what was happening. Although no one noticed, but Emily was actually lurking in the group chat and watching what was going on.
