15 Trap!

After 5 more minutes of driving, Emily and Kayden had reached the city centre. From we're Kayden lives, it would normally take 8 minutes to walk to the city centre but the traffic was really bad so it took longer.

As I they both got out the car, Emily quickly said something to the driver and then the car drive off without any fuss. She turned to Kayden and said

"Let's go!"

As they they walked through the mall, they could see many people rushing about with bags and other things. Although it was Wednesday, it was a public holiday for most people in school so there were a lot of children and teenagers around.

During this time Emily and Kayden had gone cloths shopping. On Emily's side, it had taken over an hour and a half to be finished.

Kayden, however, only took 15 minutes due to him deciding much quicker.

After they had finished the shopping part, Emily decided to visit a cafe. The cafe she chose wasn't a big and expensive one but a smaller and non so attractive one. Although Kayden didn't mind, he still felt that something was off about it.

As they sat down in one of the corner of the cafe, a male around 20 and red headed came over and said

"What May I get you two?"

Emily, who seems to have done this a million times said without hesitation "a latte and carrot cake"

"And what about you sir" said the waiter with a smile on his face

Startled by the weird smile, I quickly replied with "il have a regular cup of tea, thanks"

The waiter look at both of us and headed back into the kitchen.

With the waiter gone Kayden quickly struck up a conversation and quietly said

"What do you think if this cafe, doesn't it seem a little weird?"

Emily replied looking confused "it seems fine to me, it might just be your imagination?"

As she said that Kayden thought to himself how stupid he was. it's just a simple cafe in the middle of a mall, what can go wrong.

"I see, well we will have to wait until the food and drink get here" He said with a slight smile on my face.

Back in the kitchen, there seemed to be a large man with a scar on his cheek. Wearing white chef cloths, it seemed that he would be harmless.

Suddenly, the red haired youth walked into the kitchen with a evil smile in his face.

"We have a big one today, it's the princess of the Techcore company!"

"Stop lying ya little basterd, wishes don't come true" said the large chef.

"I'm serious, look" the red headed youth took out his phone and connected it to the cctv cameras in the cafe.

On the screen, they could see 6 people sitting in the whole of the room. When the waiter zoomed in on 2 people in the corner of the room the the chef was astonished.

"Why would she come here, we're just a sh*t hole. This isn't even meant to be a proper cafe. It's just our capturing point. Wait who is that next to her?" Said the chef with the large scar.

"Him? Who knows. Just a friend or school friend I guess" said that red headed waiter losing his patience.

"Let's do it already, do you know how much money we could get for her! 100,000, no 1 million. even better 1 billion." Said the waiter with drool sliding down his chin.

"What about the boy, any good? Said the chef.

"The boy? I only got to see him for a little bit, but he could be sold at the same price as the princess"

Wait, REALL!Y" the chef exclaimed.

Meanwhile, at the table, Kayden and Emily has no idea what was going on in the kitchen. They were casually sitting and speaking with each other about his 'Azura System'.

At that time, Emily suddenly thought about how every one was very calm due to the news this morning.

"Why is everyone so calm today?" Said Emily towards Kayden with a frown.

"What do you mean?" Kayden said confused.

"You know, the news. Earth is dying or whatever."

"Oh that, yea when the news released it, I set a small 'spell' I guess you could call it so people don't freak out over the news. However, I still don't know why this kind of news would of been released to the public so early?"

Said Kayden with a complicated look.

Back in the kitchen the carrot cake had been made. However, the chef reached into his back pocket and took out a small clear bottle. It had no label on it, but it seemed as it was for a Pharmacy[1] or hospital.

He gently pored some onto the carrot cake and into the tea. When looking at it it seemed nothing was wrong.

Before Kayden could finish talking, a weird smell could be smelt around the room.

As he turned around, he saw the red haired waiter heading towards them with their food and drink.

During his time, Kayden had already stopped time and walked into the kitchen to check something out. All he found was a large chef with a scar on his cheek smiling evil looking at a phone.

As he walked behind him to check to see what he was looking at he saw the scene of him and Emily sitting on the table with the waiter walking towards them.

"Hmmm, spying on us? That isn't very nice"

Before he could do anything, he caught a glimpse of a small bottle in the chefs back pocket.

Curious, Kayden carefully took it out his pocket and looked at it. It didn't seem like anything was wrong with it except the bottle was one used by hospitals to store drugs.

He carefully unfastened the bottle cap and smelt the liquid inside.

Due to all his 5 senses being incensed, Kayden could pick out different smells or sounds for example.

The smell the liquid created was the exact same as the one in the carrot cake!
