12 Creating life!
As Kayden arrived in the Alpha Centauri system, he found many planets circling a large star. Many of these planets were cold and lifeless rocks floating in space.
However, one stood out from the rest. A green, blue and white covered planet which looked nearly identical to earth. The continents on the planet were splint into 4 parts. In between the 4 continents there was large blue area. This was area filled with sea water. Each continent was a large island covering 15% of the planet each. The other 40% of the planet was covered in water.
The planet Kayden was looking was around 50% larger than earth. However, the gravity in this planet was only 0.1 time heavier that earth. This meant that the human body would become stronger due to the the gravity.
In the next moment, he got a message from Emily saying "Wait, were are you? Are you actually in space?"
"Jealous? Do you want to Join me up in the stars?" He replied quickly.
"Yes, very much so. I always wanted to travel to distant planets and explore them" she replied.
"If your not doing anything, il teleport you over to we're I am" He replied with a smile on his face.
"Ok, I'm not doing anything so 'beam me up scotty', heheh"
In the next instant, she was pulled down her bedroom into the vacuum of space right next to Kayden. She looked to the right and saw him looking down to something.
Using telepathy, Kayden started speaking to her about were they we're.
"This is the Alpha Centauri system" she exclaimed in surprise. She didn't think Kayden went all the way to the nearest star.
When she looked down, she saw a earth like planet sitting underneath them.
"Did you make this?" Emily replied mysteriously.
"No it was already like this when I got here" he replied calmly. "All I know is that it is suitable for life. Once humans set foot on the planet they will become an interplanetary race."
"Really? Is it that easy" she relied confusingly.
"Oh, I wish. This planet was made by the previous god, but he never finished it. Basically leaving me to do the rest of the work." said Kayden with an depressing voice. "Anyway, all I have to do is add the life forms which reside on this planet and model it how I want."
After explaining a few more things to Emily, they both flew onto the planet's surface. They both landed on the largest continent on the planet. when they landed, they were met with a large open valley surrounded by large mountains.
When they looked around they were in awe. Both of them had never believed they would see the day were they would stand on an different planet out side of their own star system.
After returning from their daze, they began to create life on the new planet.
As Kayden is a huge fan of light novels and anime he decided to add magical elements to the world. How does it work? During the creation of some of the animals, he decided to give them elemental powers. Elements such as Fire, water, wind and earth. There were also other complex elements such as space and darkness.
During the process, Kayden added a layer of elemental atoms into the atmosphere so humans can use magic like the animals of the planet.
The animals created by Kayden were all elemental monster capable of using their specific elements. The animals created were quite similar to animals back in earth. However they have some major changes. One of the animals Kayden created was a fox type of creature. The major change what Kayden had implemented into the Fox was that it was as big as a car. Around 3 metres long and 2 metres high. These foxes also has 2 horns on their head which was mainly used for ramming into other animals. The Element they possessed was wind. This aloud them to be quicker and more agile. One of the elemental attacks it could do was called 'wind claw'. When the fox swiped down with it's claws, three large wind blades would rush towards it's target at high speed.
Another animal Kayden was created was close to representing an Phoenix. The element it posses was clearly fire. The main feature of this bird was the bright red and orange feathers covering its body. It had a large wing span span of 10 metres! It was also around 3 metres high and had extremely sharp talons. These talons could easily cut into the strongest steel humans have produced.
The water element type of creature Kayden chose to give life to was a type of shark. The main feature of the shark would that it has scales for the outer body instead of normal flesh. The scales of the shark also change in colour depending if it is female or male. The baby's also have different colours according to the gender. The size of the adult male shark is similar to a normal school bus. Around 5 metres long an 2 metres high.
The next animal He made was a type of snake. The element it used was earth. This makes the snake type creature move under ground easily and have hardening ability's. The snakes size was around 15 metres long, 2 metres wide and 1.5 metres tall. Some of the ability's it could use was a hardening ability and normal physical attacks.
All of the creatures had gender and baby differences among them. There are also many sub species among them.
While Kayden was creating the main types of elemental creatures, it was Emily's job to help create many other smaller species and types of plants. The uses for the plants could be edible or medicinal. A few plants could be used to make potions when humans arrive.
After a few more hours of work, Kayden and Emily began to have a rest.
During their conversation they pulled up a point about magic. When humans begin to explore the surface they will begin to inhale the special element atoms Kayden had mixed into the atmosphere. This will produce a small gland in their brain to have an infinity with the element atoms.
During the exploration of the planet, Emily also set up small tombs were magical scrolls lay. These scrolls come in many different types. For example, learning scrolls allow the reader to learn a specific spell. Other scrolls allow people to have building plans to magical weapons such as a staff or magical swords.
In the larger ruins, the treasure that can be found is also at large. Items such as magical artifices from thousands of years ago. However in the larger ruin, there also lay very dangerous traps. Traps such as mechanical traps to elemental traps using fire or water.
The largest type of ruin includes a temple of ancient kings. Or ruins such as these, the traps and treasure have been increased. There are also many different type of tricks that can be played on you such as dragging someone into another dimension or creating very realistic illusions to make people run away from the king ruins.
The reason why all of this was made. Is because of the book Kayden got. In the book it also has a few pages on planet making. One of the paragraphs include a basic way of creating an habitual planet. It also says it should have difficulties when they land and explore the area. For this problem Kayden had created the elemental creatures so people had to deal with.
However, the creatures are bullet proof so only physical attack's work on the beasts. This is to help the people who go to the planet advance in exploring the ruins and using magic instead of the technology.
Not all technology is useless but weapons and other tech such as life detectable gear cannot work. This is due to having skill from magic and the weapon they can create.
