4 A Normal Day?
3 and a half hours later, an alarm sound could be heard in Kayden's ears. although it was the last day of school until the summer holidays, he still has to get up at 6 and get the bus. After 5 minutes of trying to get out of bed, he got up and went to the bathroom to have a shower. After losing track of time in the shower, he had spent over 20 minutes mindlessly standing in the shower.
As he got out and looked at the time. The digital clock said 6:25. "Good, more than enough time," Kayden said as he went back into his room to put his school clothes on. He went downstairs and turned the light on in the kitchen. In front of him, he saw a large old looking book. Picking it up, the text said "The way of a God".
"This must be related to the day before last" thinking to himself. Putting it back down on the Island[1], he looked in the cupboard if they had any good cereals to eat. Frowning, Kayden said to himself "Cheerios would be nice". Suddenly, a box of Cheerios had appeared in front of him.
Surprised, he picked it up and said: "Oh, I forgot I could do this". After eating his cereal, Kayden picked up the book and went upstairs. He brushed his teeth while thinking about what he would do next. Being God, this meant he could do anything. Thinking of this made his blood boil with excitement. He next went into his room and unplugged his phone and looked at the time. 7:55 am. This was bad. Really bad. His bus to school leaves the stop at 5 past 8 in the morning. From his house to the stop it takes 15 minutes. With this information in his head, Kayden ran downstairs and put on his shoes and collected his bag. He shouted to his parent's goodbye and took off for the bus sprinting.
Surprisingly, when running he found out his endurance was much higher than before. With that, he made it to his bus stop in 7 minutes. When he arrived he wasn't even out of breath. It felt like he could run for hundreds of miles without stopping. Time past and the bus arrived, he got on and found that one of his friends was on the bus.
"Hey Ryu, how come you're on the bus?" said with a slight hint of confusion in his voice. "Oh, Hey Kayden. Yea, I stayed with my grandparents yesterday because my parents were out". said Ryu. They talked some more while the bus took them to school.
As the 2 got off the bus, they met up with Levi and started to walk to class. In front of them, there was a group of girls walking in the same direction. At the center of the center of the group, a girl who was named the treasure of the school by every boy in school. Her name was Emily Townsend, she comes from a super-rich family who owns the largest tech company in the world (Techcore). Nearly every boy in her year had asked her out but all got rejected. Kayden and Ryu were one of the Few who had not asked out Emily because they knew it would be futile.
However, the third member of his group, Levi was dumb enough to ask her out. He also did it in a manner which had enraged Emily and had sent Levi across the floor with a kick. All 3 of them were also in the same class as Emily but never paid attention to what was happening around her.
During lunch, Levi had asked the 2 what they did the past few days. Ryu had said that he had mainly been working on his novel and did not have time for anything else. When it came to Kayden's turn to speak, he was a bit stuck. he couldn't say that he had taken over the place for God and now is the ruler of the universe, could he? However, this story would be too outlandish, so he decided to go with it and have a laugh. "I became God over the last few days," he said this with a straight face with no emotions. His 2 best friends looked at him with tears of laughter in their eyes. They finally couldn't hold it anymore and burst out laughing.
"have you got a screw loose up there," said Rye trying not to laugh in the middle of the sentence.
"A Christian maybe who believes he became God?" said Levi who had calmed down a bit, but still said it loudly. As he said that on the table opposite them was Emily and her friends. They had heard the commotion and turned around to witness what was going on.
Kayden saw them look at the 3 of them and said to Rye and Levi it was a joke and he had done nothing over the past few days. the 2 clowns had finally decided to finish laughing when they had to head back to class.
The next lesson went smoothly and it was the end of class and they all excited. "Want to come with us Kayden," said Ryu. "Na, need to go to the library to search for something" he replied and split from the group. He wanted to find out if there was a Book called "The way of a God" or it was From the previous God telling him about what he can do.
After looking through multiple shelves and the internet, he had found nothing. This concluded him to think that the second answer was correct. He got into the bus park and saw no buses except for a beautiful looking girl waiting for something. He walked a bit further to realize it was Emily.
As he missed the bus he didn't need to worry because he could do anything to get home. Fly, teleportation and all other weird transportation types of vehicles. He walked pass Emily who had a sweet smell which could attract all the boy within seconds. He felt as if he walked into heaven for the first time when he passed her. However, it was the second time he went there and kept a straight face with no emotion walking past her.
Emily didn't like this so she decided to follow him. As Kayden turned a Corner he looked around him to see if anyone could see him. He decided to teleport home for today so he had to find a place where no one could see him. As he looked back to check everything was clear he activated teleportation. But in the last second, he could see an outline of a girl peek her head around the corner as he was about to beam back to his home.
He could see the face but had instantly felt that he had landed on a soft bed. He looked around and saw his desk. he was relieved that he hadn't teleported into the wrong house.
Back at the school, a dumb expression could be seen on Emily's face when Kayden had disappeared right in front of her "W-What was that?"
