17 The Lottery Spin!

Ziade walked down the vast fallen kingdom... little did he know that the surface he walked along was that hot it could burn to ashes... lucky he had the expensive sandals on him...'

'...Okini what are you doing?'

'Well I thought that if I'm going to be here your whole life, why not make it a bit fun instead of this depressing atmosphere.'

'...Fair enough Okini... fair enough.'

'Well Okini, it seems we found some houses.'

'We sure did.'

I continue to walk towards the abandoned houses, until I got in front of the door.

'It's locked... expected' I use my intent and slice the lock so that I can easily open the door.

I walk inside and start to survey my surroundings... pretty much everything was left in this house by the looks of it. I start to search the kitchen by going through all the cupboards, all I found was cups, plates, utensils, cleaning tools, food, and what not. I look next to the window and see that there are dead flowers and a photo of the family... "If these flowers are dead then this family got out before it came..."

I grab the photo and remember their faces and deposit the photo into my inventory.

I found no medical supplies in the kitchen so I proceeded myself towards the bathroom where they most likely are going to be. I walk inside and check everywhere...

I couldn't find anything...

I look over to the mirror... I stare at the deep claw marks on my face... "That's definitely going to leave a bad scar..." I look at my white T-Shirt, my ring and my black pants... "It's great that's these clothes can fit me at any size, and I also need a coat because this chilliness is going to make me mad." "..." It was then that there was some sought of compartment behind the mirror, I open it up and there's a small white box... "Please." I say hoping for my luck.

I open the box and there is medical supplies, not much though... there is three rolls of bandages, alcohol, honey, creams, scissors, blades and all that weird stuff.

"Lucky me today... wait... maybe it's the only lucky break I'll receive at all today..."

'Liven up Ziade' Okini pauses. 'We're still alive."

"That's true."

I start to clean my wound with water and a damp cloth, then proceed to pour salt into the wound, next I rubbed the creams onto the wound then I ultimately bandaged myself up by wrapping the bandage around half my face. This process did hurt but I dealt with it since I've experienced far more intense pain in my lifetime... or should I say... both lifetimes?

After that was all done I decide to rest in this house for the night since I am very tired from all this stress today.

I have multiple drinks of water and finally finish off a box of food that I bought before-hand.

I start to head to the bedroom to tuck in for the night but then suddenly I remember about the appies I still have...

At this time I would be very exited but right now, but it's been a long day and I just want to get it over and done with so that I have nothing on my mind tomorrow.

'So Okini what was the prices again?'

'Ziade you have perfect recall, use your brain.'

'...Sorry Okini... I'm just a bit tired.'

'Don't worry about it, I think every human has these days.'

'They sure do Okini, they sure do.' I reply tiredly.

I have 27,000 appies and it cost... ok I'll go with one lottery and a miscellaneous item.

'Okini I'll buy one lottery ticket and a miscellaneous item please.'

'Understood.'

All my Appies dissapear from the interface and it turns to zero...

'Ziade your lottery ticket and the miscellaneous item you purchased has been deposited into your inventory.'

'Thanks Okini.' I open my inventory and immediately use my lottery ticket, the wheel starts spinning...

and it... it... keeps on spinning, this taking a bit longe than I expected, I keep watching the wheel spin and spin going past the; TGA, SKILLS, WEAPONS, UPGRADES, MISCELLANEOUS, INFRMATION and... WARRIORS... Oh so I wish that the arrow stops on the Warrior or Upgades section...

The wheel starts to slow down... and it slows down near Information section, yep it's definetely landing on information... wait no! Yes! It's slowing down on the Warrior section! Yes! The arrow stopped on the Warrior section!

'Finally! Okini we've done it! Yes!'

The arrow landed on the warrior section or so I thought... the wheel just sudenly makes a complete spin to the next section...

"Okini! What the fuck! It clearly landed on the Warrior section! Why is it in the fucking skill section! That was the only chance I'll most ever probably have in 70 years! Okini this is outrageous don't troll me like that, give it back. Please just..."

'Ziade I truly have no say in any lottery spin, the only person capable is... Elder Kumi...'

'Why the hell would he do this to me, I haven't even been in his game for that long... what have I done...?'

Suddenly Elder Kumi casually sitting on his stupid walking stick appears in my mind and he says...

"That's what you get for calling me a cheatin' old bastard you bastard! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! That'll teach you! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

"You dumb old pizza head! You cheated me! It's your fault not me!"

"Whoops... was it truly? Well have a good one Ziade!"

The dumb old pig dissapears with a mad laugh...

'I sat down on the bed... depressed...'

"That was fun, that reaction was priceless, I didn't expect a grown man like himself to get so riled up over it but I guess he's always been fun like that.... anyway that was fun and all but I do feel a little bit bad because of it... I should at least give him a decent skill that can help him survive in that dangerous world... maybe a cloak since he said it was cold..." Elder Kumi chuckles at how nice he has become...

I am very happy about the skill I won and so I open my inventory and inspect my miscellaneous item I recieved.

'Weird name, but hey, could of been worse... like that Kumi bastard stealing my...'

'Ziade I think it's time to go to bed.'

'...Yeh it sure is... goodnight Okini.'

'Goodnight Ziade.'

'What a day... it's only gonna get harder from here on out isn't it... what a hassle...'

I tuck myself in, place Masamune against the wall and comfortably fall asleep in this unknown house...
