14 Gathering Information and a Peculiar Fores

Ziade walks up to the guard and sadly the guard who was stationed at the East Gate has now changed... 'Haimeke Idirop… weird guy.. I wonder why he changed 7 months ago?'

The guard sees Ziade and has seen him before so he just lets him past without saying anything.

'Origin Endocrine fourth sub level.' Okini states.

Ziade knows he just received that notification because the guard had just broke through a sub level.

Ziade doesn't bother to care about the notification and just walks along the roads of the kingdom till he reaches his destination... the old man's bathroom products stall...

'Haiken Vi his name was...'

But Ziade realizes that a boy about the age of 11 with a long sleeve shirt with buttons and long pants which are both dark purple sits at the stall instead of Senior Vi...

Ziade walks up and says to the boy who rocks in the old man's chair, "Excuse me do you know where Haiken Vi is?"

The boy doesn't even look at him and continues to do some cool card flips with his fingers.

"Yeh… He hasn't been around for several months, he just works here sometimes to pass his time..." The boy replies but is thinking, 'Haiken Vi... my boss of Scyloka… how does this kid know him... he never gives his name out to ordinary people...'

"Oh ok I'm sorry to waste your time I'll be leaving than." Ziade states.

"Wait. How do you know Haiken Vi?" The boy says while twiddling with his card but has his guard up for an attack...

Ziade pauses his steps and slowly turns around,"He gave me his name when I first met him... six years ago when I was two.. Why is he someone important?" Ziade replies with a bright face.

"He is and I am confu-" Before the boy finishes his words he flick his card aiming for Ziade's throat but... Ziade vanished... and re-appeared right in front of the boy who still sits on the chair casually.

Ziade is staring at the boys eyes who now only has just looked up.

"Move... and your dead." Ziade declares firmly.

"So that's why.. you are powerful... don't worry I knew you wouldn't be someone weak with that magnificent sword on your back... especially if he told you his name..." The boy replies.

"Who is Haiken Vi and who are you?" Ziade asks with a smile while also using Lickety-Split Walking to re appear three metres.

"... Senior Vi is one of the leaders of my... store, want more details you'll need to pay." The boy pauses, "I'm Witaraji, and you?" He states his name while sluggishly rocking his chair again... while another card appears in his hand...

"haha, It's alright I'm not paying for useless information. Also nice to meet you Witaraji I'm Ziade.. even though you aimed for a killing strike on me before... I hope we can become friends and maybe you could teach me some of those cool card moves you were doing earlier?" Ziade replies.

"... You're weird Ziade... but sure we can become friends.. what did you com here for anyway?"

Ziade replies,"I came here to look for information and wanted to say hi to Haiken since I haven't seen him in a long time." Ziade says but actually came here for another reason as well...

"hahaha! You're in luck Ziade since I work as an information collector and I sell it... and as we are friends and it's our first business transaction.. I'll give you the information for free but you'll have to pay the normal price next time unless you do something for me." Witaraji calmly says with exitement.

"Ok Witaraji, that's awesome... so I'll tell you what I need?" Ziade replies.

"Go ahead." Witaraji responds while sluggishly flipping the card with his fingers back and forth between both of his hands.

"I'm looking for a dangerous cool snake in Edunrevron."

Witaraji closes his eyes...

'Searching through his memories or telepathically talking to someone?' Ziade questions.

"Yeh...Ziade there's a few powerful snakes... I'll name 3 of them off." Witaraji states.

He continues, "First off there is the Mimdire Snake: These snakes are highly venomous and their venom can kill 5th level body cultivators in a minute, anyone below will die in a instant. Mimdire has yellow eyes, yellow underbelly, rainbow coloured scales on top, is 2 metres long and 10cm's wide. This Mimdire snake is Tempering Ye stage, sub level unknown."

"Second snake is the Cognyba Snake: This snake is 10 metres long, 50cm's wide and is venomous but it's venom can only kill Origin Skeleton body cultivators. Has long fangs that can puncture King Soma bodies if not not protected by magic. This Cognyba is a pitch black snake with black eyes and is at the King Soma stage, 2nd sub level.."

"Third snake is the Bijeli Serpent: Highly Venomous, it's venom can kill Corse of Ratiocination body cultivators. Bijeli snake is 50cm's long and and 10cm's wide. It has white feathered scales with white crystal eyes. It is at the Origin combining 2nd sub level stage." Witaraji finishes his report.

'...Okini what did you mean by stronger than me, did you mean in body tempering and magic or just more powerful than me?' Ziade asks.

'By the term 'Stronger' I meant that the pet needs to be stronger than you in cultivation of either two cultivation methods, not weapon arts or skills nor base power level. If it was base power level you would stand no chance and would die because you only have your speed, sword and martial arts. You need to cultivate magic and your body more to complete harder quests, this quest is a beginner quest.' Okini replies.

'Thanks... Okini but you didn't need to make me sound dumb...' Ziade says back in a dejected voice...

'I'm sorry that was not my intention to do so.' Okini replies but is not really sorry.

Witaraji interrupts their conversation, "So Ziade made... your choice?"

"Yes I have, I choose the Bijeli Serpent. Can I know more informmation about the snake please." Ziade chose this snake because he thinks it sounds cool and the other snakes are a bit too big for a pet that is going to live with him. Ziade thought that maybe some other time he will have a bigger snake.

"Witaraji flicks the card in the air and Ziade and Witaraji look at it but then it dissapears mid-air and appears right in Witaraji's other hand and starts playing with it again.

"Got you there Ziade." He says while looking at Ziade with a weird blank face...

"Sure did, that was nice trick but can I have information about the Bijeli Serpent." Ziade replies.

"Right, Right... That snake lives 3 countries over to the East in the snowy mountains, hunts 3 times a year by blending in with the snow then striking. Hunting times are Early January, Early November and Late August." Witaraji states.

'Same Calendar?...not surprising since I already tested out if they had the same times and they did which a bit weird.'

"Thanks, but how long should it take to reach these so called snowy mountains?" Ziade asks.

"Appromixmately... 2 years by foot." Witaraji replies.

'Fuck sake... should I just choose another snake? ...No... I will commit to the Bijeli... anyways it might be fun adventure.' Ziade thinks.

"Ok that's all Witaraji, I'll be leaving."

"Wait." Witaraji flips him a card which is dark purple with gold writing.

Ziade looks at the card... then it dissapears... into his inventory and nods at Witaraji before departing.

Ziade packs some food, drinks, new black sandals with only one strap holding the sole of the sandals and his feet together and also buys a map before leaving the kingdom, he is now walking through the farmland that surrounds his house...

"Hey! Ziade where you headin'?" Mr Guhera asks since the road that Ziade is taking leads out into the towns and villages that reside out of the farmland.

"Oh, Mr Guhera, I'm just going for an adventure to find myself a pet. What about you?" Ziade replies.

"Really? An Adventure... Oh I'm just helping out a friend by bringing her some new tools. How longs the trip going to be?" Mr Guhera responds.

"About 3 to 4 years if theres no mishaps... well I better get going Mr Guhera, have a good day!" Ziade starts walking along again.

"You too Kiddo, be safe!"

"I will!" Ziade replies.

Ziade is out of Mr Guhera's sight and has been walking for quite a while... he is now close to a small village where mostly all the farmers live.

Ziade pulls out the map of Edunrevron he bought for 5 gold at Fraylulè, 'Ok... so according to this map... there's 2 towns past this small village then a massive forrest that seperates the two countries... once I get past that forest... I'll be in the coountry, Astuviki? Alright.' Ziade puts back his map in his inventory and continues walking towards the village up ahead.

There's a dirt road that leads to the village and farm land everywhere but according to the map, after this village there is no farm and just temperate grasslands.

Ziade reaches the village and sees people on the road selling their food, seeds, fertilizer and soil to the villagers. He sees houses, barns, warehouses and a bar...

'This village is pretty small... must just be where all the farmers live... they don't need that much stuff if a kingdom is built right next to them, do they...'

Ziade keeps walking along and some people try to sell him some food and what not but he declines since he already packed enough, soon he is out of the village and heading towards the town that lies ahead.

'It's getting late... might need to take a break.. I might rest in the town ahead.'

"Nice..." Ziade says at loud while walking.

'Okini can you notify me when there's new challenges and quests instead of me asking and also give me the power levels of people who are way stronger than me, don't give me the power levels of people who are near my power if I do not ask... can you do that please?' Ziade asks.

'OK but some beings I can not give power levels since it is not distinguishable.' Okini replies.

'Thanks Okini.' Ziade responds and starts to think of something else.

Ziade normally doesn't like using Lickety-Split Walking and only uses it in a battle but he knows that this Journey is going to take 2 years to get to the snowy mountains and decides to at least skip the two towns. Ziade uses Licket-Split Walking and can still see everything clearly but it's just in slow motion and it doesn't feel like life...

After a while he reaches the forest and there's a massive sign in front of the big tree just outside the forest, it states,

'This Forest and it's wild life are protected by Frèshèki and Astuviki, anyone who kills or destroys either the forest or it's inhabitants for unnecassary purposes will be punished. Dha Muru Muru is Protected and is Surveillanced 24 hours a day.'

'Got it' Ziade nods at the sign with a smile and looks into the forest in front of him, 'Temperate Forest aye? At least it's not that Death Rain-forest...'

Ziade walks in the forest and decides to just rest in the forest with a campfire.

While he was scouting around possibly for a threat and looking for this so called surveillance... he notices...

"What the fucks that?" He curses. Ziade sees in the distance some kind of creature that has a deer body and a dogs head... 'Let's just hope that it doesn't notice me...'

It noticed him.

The deer looking dog is now staring at Ziade... it THEN STARTS TO growl at him but then just ultimately walks away strutting it's stuff...

Ziade who had his guard up, now relaxes and thinks with a small smile and eye brows raised...

'What a Peculiar Forest...'

Ziade orders Masamune to guard him while he sleeps since Masamune is sentinent.

He falls asleep next to the camp fire with Elizabeth's pillow underneath his head...
