5 Departure of the Amaruki Deser
The mysterious wondering person that was roaming the desert with Ziade noticed Ziade quite a while ago but as soon as Ziade spotted him he decided to investigate.
In Ziade's perspective as soon as he saw the figure it was gone, Ziade thought that it might of been an illusion of some sort and rubbed his eyes. When he reopened them the mysterious person had now directly reappeared right in front of him leaving Ziade gobsmacked.
Ziade composes himself swiftly and greets the unknown, "Hello? I am Ziade, Welcome to Chillies."
"... hmmm" The mysterious person reveals himself by looking up and slowly taking the hood that draped over the face, the person was a male and looked to be in his thirties with a short black beard and drowsy, sloping eyes.
'Smart boy, I wonder why he is here?' The unknown person thinks.
"Boy you are clearly no older than 3 years old and you are in the Amaruki desert, one of the most mysterious deserts where any creature at any cultivation level resides in, it is dangerous." He pauses, "Ziade my name is Josh Tarigomu... do you have a last name?" Josh questions with a plain face trying to figure out the boy in front of him.
"..No sir I do not have a last name, I have no parents and I know nothing of where I have come from, all I know is that it seems I was teleported here because one night I was sleeping and the next thing I know I'm stuck in a desert." Ziade replies in a calm voice to Josh.
'Really?' Josh thinks.
"Where did you sleep and why do you wear those robes in a desert, they look like they attract the heat?" Josh interrogates
but Ziade was already prepared with an answer, "Sir Tarigomu I slept in a hay farm and I've always worn these robes"
"...Which province?" He questions.
"Umm, Sir I have no knowledge of this world only it's Languages."
'This boy lies to me.' Josh continues to conversate with Ziade,"How long have you been here boy?"
"Since 8am yesterday Sir, I have been walking this whole time here."
'8... not zero eight hundred, possibly he does tell the truth. "Kid I will not pry any further but I want to know how have you survived in this desert with no food and water in this scorching hot desert with just robes? You do know that with no cultivation in this desert it will melt you alive?"
"... Sir I have no idea..."
"Liar!! Tell me now!!" Josh releases a tiny amount of cultivation onto the child in front of him and yells to probe further by testing his reaction.
Ziade goes straight into a martial arts stance ready for any attack since he has been threatened but now does he get the notification from Okini.
'King Soma 1st level and 2nd level Expert Sorcerer practioner'
Ziade was about to lower his guard since he knew he had no chance but then Josh pounces on him aiming to kick him in the chest.
Josh was thinking that he would see the boys fighting capability by threatening him.
The kick nearly reaches Ziade but he sidesteps, Josh saw this coming and changed his stance in a second, kicking Ziade square in the chest. Ziade feels a bit of pain from the kick but doesn't care and uses the momentum from getting kicked to do a backwards somersault while operating his Wing Chun stance when he lands.
Josh Tarigomu is thinking, 'I've never seen that stance before throughout all my travels, mostly everyone uses a weapon, few believe martial arts can be on par with weapon cultivation so this boy either has made his own style before the age of 4 and is perfecting it and that would mean he is a genius or... he is lying to me to cover his past... I believe that this boy did have guardians maybe not parents but had someone teaching him the art... this kid probably has no family anymore if he is out here... the least I can do is to take him to the kingdom where he can grow strong if he wants to...'
'...Yes I shall do that.' Josh replies to his own thoughts with resolve.
"Kid that's enough you are no match for me." Ziade lowers his stance but keeps his mind ready for a surprise attack.
Josh notices this but continues on, "Ziade you need to leave here before you die, you're lucky you didn't meet any monsters out here, they typically come at night time to hunt... maybe they didn't see you as food? Or you never got seen because you weren't..." Josh stops before he continues on because he knows that the kid has secrets that are personal and that he seems smarter than an average four year old.
Ziade is rejoicing inside himself for being so lucky since Josh has stopped and also he just got told that he would melt to death if he didn't get out of the Amaruki Desert before 08:00 tomorrow morning but still makes sure that he has judged Josh's personality right. "Sir I'm sorry to be rude but I do not trust you." Ziade says probing him.
"That is to be expected... but I'm still taking you to the kingdom I just left from it is my home kingdom and where I live because you will eventually die in this desert if I don't take you... unless you came here to die?" Josh questions with a raised brow.
"Sir I do not wish to die and I do wish to leave this desert... I wish to become strong... the strongest! And if your kingdom can't teach me how then I will not be coming with you, no disrespect!"
Josh chuckles before saying, "Ziade you do not need to be worried we are the second best kingdom in the whole continent! Only second to the Imperial family's kingdom that resides in the country, Wondrakla. My kingdom is the Fraylulè Kingdom and it is located in the country Frèshèki. We hold more than 1.2 billion people!! We are the second largest country on the continent, EDUNREVRON!! Josh replies to Ziade with an enthusiastic demeanour.
'That's nearly the amount of people in China... and it's the second largest...'
Josh was secretly focusing on Ziade's expression to see if it changes at all... it didn't, not even one bit, which made Josh confused, he knew Ziade was no ordinary child but still thinking of 1.2 billion people should make a child be amazed...
'No reaction... like he's seen and known it before? He said he knows nothing of this world... teleported to the desert... no parents...'
'I will no longer probe him, no use even knowing about the kid anyways.'
"Josh I accept."
"Great kid I'll escort you to the kingdom and I'll get you out of this stinking desert as soon as possible."
Josh picks up Ziade and holds him against his side then he sprints as hard as he can north in the direction of the kingdom until they finally are out after several hours of running. It is now around 19:00 when they both are out.
'Finally... I feel sick from getting carried...' Ziade jumps out of his arms and looks around before taking the last step out of the desert... he falls face first into the dirt.
Ziade helps himself up and continues to follow Josh who wakes on ahead.
'Congratulations for surviving a hard spawn point with numerous monsters with random cultivation levels''
'You have received three master wheel spins that you can redeem.'
'Hmmm must of been a rigged spawn point if I get rewards like this...' Ziade now realised that without Josh he would of died by the desert after the time limit of two days was up and also knows that the only way he could survived the desert was to get a skill that got him out of the desert or prevented him from dying by the sun, but even if that did happen, Ziade would of most probably died by monsters while getting out...'
Ziade immediately says while looking at his surroundings, "Thankyou Josh."
Josh surprised by the thankyou, looks at Ziade before also looking at his surroundings as well.
"No problem kiddo, it's just the right thing to do." Josh replies with a big grin on his face.
'Departure of the Amaruki Desert... sure was lucky wasn't I...' Ziade states while simultaneously looking at the beautiful night sky that his hung high.
