9 Chapter Nine: Awaken
The words from Benson seemed extremely ominous, but I brushed it aside. Anything I can do to keep from being weak and feeling so angry, I will accomplish. I don't care if it kills me.
"First things first, young master, lets see what your combat skills are like. Get rid of that shirt, if you will."
I looked at the shirt that Benson had custom made for me, removing it and folding it. It felt wrong to just throw it to the ground, when he had went through the trouble of making it.
"Okay," I say aloud, hopping from foot to foot to loosen up.
"Now block!" Benson shouts, before rushing me. I just barely manage to jump to the side, Benson coming to rush me again. "I said block!"
Disobeying him, I dodge again. Trying to block his hit is madness. He's a panda, it's obvious that no amount of blocking would save my arms from breaking like twigs. Annoyed, Benson roars in anger.
This is not a side of him I ever thought I would see. Emiya shakes her head as if to say "now you've done it", and so I had.
Before I could even think to dodge another blow, Benson disappears, and reappears in front of me, connecting my gut with his fist. The wind is immediately knocked out of me, and I am thrown backwards, my body being thrown through one of the pillars. It seems that statement about dying will be a reality if I keep this up.
With a loud thud, I land on the hard ground, my mind sent somewhere else.
***Unknown Time
"You really should have dodged that"
I'm standing over an unfamiliar face, and as suddenly as the image came, it also left.
***Present Moment
I shake my head. I'm not sure what just happened, but it leaves me with a headache.
"I told you to block. That means you block!"
The sound of Benson voice shakes my soul, and I'm not too sure rather I fear the demons or him more. The proper butler had been replaced, an angry tyrant in his steed.
"O-okay," I stutter. I've agreed to be trained by a maniac.
"Tell you what, it is clear in the short moment we've known one another you've become far too familiar with me. I will, instead call a friend to help train you. Surely he will help you awaken."
