Chen Xiaoyi realized a significant problem; she had no change of clothes. She felt like she was going mad. Coming home with a man she hadn’t known for a day was one thing. Chen Xiaoyi herself didn’t realize, a sweet smile was already curving on her lips.
Watching Chen Xiaoyi finish the soup, Lu Li nodded in satisfaction: “The room you just used, you can stay there. In the future, cook the medicinal soup yourself in the kitchen, continue for a month without break, otherwise, if any complications arise and you need to see a doctor, of course, I will charge extra, all of which will be added to your debt.”

A loud thump on the head.
“Um...” Chen Xiaoyi covered her forehead.
“Finish drinking and quickly put the bowl back. Why are you really waiting for me to serve you? Don’t get too carried away.” Lu Li teased with a silent chuckle; this businesswoman of the future now seemed quite cute!
Always picking on her was really fun.
“I didn’t say I wanted you to serve me, just bullying me, a bad person.” Chen Xiaoyi couldn’t help but complain inwardly, but her eyes were sparkling, the smile never leaving her lips.
Under Lu Li’s deft change of topic, Chen Xiaoyi’s move-in was confirmed, smoother than Lu Li anticipated.
