37 Preparation for Tomio’s birthday

Lunch break

Tomio is not with them

"On the October 20th is Tomio-kun's birthday!" Hisako said

"Tomio-kun's birthday?" Kamiko said

"Yeah!" Hisako said

"We will have a surprise birthday party for him" Mikio said

"That's a good idea!" Yuko said

"Yeah" Kamiko said

At rooftop

"Think of it. Why Tomio is not here?" Hisashi said

"I don't know" Mikio said

"Me too" Hisako said

"He is in the same class as you." Hisashi said

"He did go in the class. I don't know where he went." Hisako said

"Yeah, he did" Mikio said

"He didn't say anything where he will go" Yuko said

"Yeah he just say he just going somewhere for a while." Hisako said

"He did" Mikio said

"Jeez!" Kamiko said

"Worried?" Hisako said

Kamiko suddenly blushed

"Y-yeah…" Kamiko said

Hisako chuckles.

"Let's plan for a while before he arrives." Mikio said

"Yeah, let's do it" Hisako said

"What are we going to do?" Hisashi said

Let's talk where are we going to have a party" Hisako said

"Hisako-chan's house" Yuko said

"That day is not available because my parents have an important meeting on the house and exactly on Tomio-kun's birthday" Hisako said

"Then, at my house is fine" Mikio said

"Really?" Hisako said

"Yeah" Mikio said

"Okay then, the place is okay. We will plan what we will do" Hisako said

"Tomorrow after school we will buy the things we need for decoration and ingredients" Hisako said

"We should have a groups" Mikio said

"Then, Kamiko, Yuko and Hisashi will go to buy needs in decoration. Junko and Masayoshi will buy ingredients." Mikio said

"Okay!" Yuko said

"Then me and Mikio-kun we will make a cake for Tomio-kun" Hisako said

"Okay" Kamiko and others said

"We only have two days and we are busy in preparation for school festival and sports festival." Hisako said

"That's right" Mikio said

"Tomorrow is 18" Kamiko said

"Yeah, tomorrow let's buy for the surprise party for Tomio-kun." Hisako said

After break

"Tomio-kun didn't go to rooftop" Hisako said

"Yeah, I wonder why" Mikio said

"Worried?" Hisako said

At classroom

They are arranging the tables and design. Hisako is thinking so deep.

While Masayoshi

He is in the window and saw Hisako is thinking deeply. Masayoshi is about to come close to Hisako but Mikio suddenly come close to Hisako. Mikio put the cold bottle to Hisako's cheeks and Hisako got surprised.

"Mikio-kun…" Hisako said with a surprised face

"You are thinking so deep" Mikio said

"I-I see…" Hisako said

"Don't I see to me!" Mikio said

"Sorry!" Hisako said

"Thinking about Tomio?" Mikio said

"Yeah" Hisako said

"You are thinking why Tomio didn't eat with us?" Mikio aid

"Yeah, I'm thinking about that. I'm bothered because of that." Hisako said

"Because of his father doings?" Mikio said

"Yeah, I think he is hurt because of his father that's why he didn't go eat with us. He looks he is in pain." Hisako said

"I notice it too. We should help him now" Mikio said

"But…I don't know how. We should think before we move" Hisako said

"I know" Mikio said

"Let's talk about it later! Let's make him happy on his birthday." Hisako said

"Of course!" Mikio said

Hisako smiled at him and Mikio pat Hisako's head.

"I'll help you putting it there!" Mikio said

"Thank you" Hisako said

Mikio help Hisako

While Yuko and others

"Hisako-chan is thinking deeply" Yuko said

"Yeah" Tomio said

"I wonder what is it" Yuko said

"Does she have problem?" Tomio said

"I don't know. She was so energetic earlier" Yuko said

"I see" Tomio said

"Does something bothering you?" Yuko said in her mind

While Hisako and Mikio

Hisako is reaching the design over the blackboard

"I will do it!" Mikio said

"I'm about to reach it" Hisako said

Hisako reached the paper flower and she slipped. Mikio remember something. The girl is falling down from tree.

"Hisa-chan!" Mikio shouted

Hisako got surprised and Mikio catch her and Mikio sat down. Mikio hug her tightly. Junko saw them and felt jealous

"Hisako-chan!" Yuko said

"Hisako!" Tomio said

"Nakano-san!" Their other classmate said

They come close to them.

"Hisako are you alright?" Mikio said

"I'm alright thank you" Hisako said

"Don't do it again!" Mikio said

"Sorry" Hisako said

Mikio knock Hisako's head lightly and Junko looked away

"He just call me Hisa-chan. It's the name he always call to me…my first love…" Hisako said in her mind and she thinks

Mikio scold Hisako a little and hugs her. Tomio and Yuko chuckles and Junko felt jealous.
